Thanks to technology, quite a few videos have popped up on YouTube from this tour where the audio/video is better than what's been posted in the past.  I've posted a few directly on CB's MySpace page (Wayward and Down, The Corner and Tame) but you can also go to YouTube, search Cory Branan and then sort by 'Newest,' though I tried to that that for you here:

Cory on YouTube Sorted by Upload Date

JUST FOUND THIS:

A Girl Named GO NYC Bike Messnger Video

A few direct links:

Wayward and Down with Good Old War at the Knitting Factory in LA

The Corner at Musica in Akron

The Honorary Title's Far More with Cory Singing at Musica in Akron

Tall Green Grass at the Knitting Factory in LA

Tame from Musica in Akron

Good Old War must have sent their armies out to these shows as you'll note a bunch of versions of Wayward and Down throughout the tour...

From Suburban Homes, who is putting this new split Vinyl out, pretty much what you need to know -

Friends, we are so excited to share with you this split recording from Jon Snodgrass and Cory Branan. Jon should need no introduction as he has been writing and recording some of the greatest records with Drag the River, Armchair Martian, and on his own. Cory is one of my favorite singer/songwriters not on Suburban Home and am so honored to be able to put out this record. These 7 songs were recorded in Colorado with Jon and Cory playing on each other’s songs. Cory contributes 3 originals, Jon contributes 2 originals and 2 covers. The record is absolutely amazing. I hope you enjoy the stream and if you do, please consider sharing it with a friend. Post it on your blog, on Myspace, and if you don’t mind, please retweet this.

Remember that there is no CD version of this release. We are only doing LP, Cassette, and digitally. The LP and Cassette come with a download coupon. The LP is out of an edition of 1,000 copies (500 on Sun Colored Vinyl, 500 on Moon colored vinyl) and the cassette is out of an edition of 200 copies. For the time being, you will get a poster with your purchase. We have the cassettes in stock and will have the vinyl mid week next week. Get this before they are all gone.

Cory - Ardent Presents

Saturday, April 18, 2009
hey folks,
(this is cory by the way) brian mann, manager extraordinaire, is always saying i should get on this blog thing and say some stuff.  while i'm sure this isn't what he had in mind, here goes:

i can't sleep for shit lately on account of being amp'd on this new record i'm in the middle of making, so a few nights ago i reverted to a game i used to play to occupy my hyper-puppy nightbrains.  Here's a couple of em.  if anyone figures out what they are feel free to send in some of your own.  if no one knows by say, monday, i'll post the answers.
  (O, here's a couple hints: for 1. possum, and 2. satanic intersection)

1. Joust becloud sky ax of wind of flower
Joust becloud sky stoke herd nape stoneware
Joust becloud sky rain heard thunder bison tape-delay
    See things sky tilt scare

2. Skin doubt tulip crawl-goats
    Felt doubt harmonies
    Skin brown tulip raw-rose
    Felt doubt harmonies
    Afterwards, a dove, half-murky
    Safe porn bald nephew pleats

all the best,
cory
