Things to be done...
Assignments...
Data entry stuff for work...
Assignments...
Did I say ASSIGNMENTS!
I need to find time in between work here at the station and at Suntec and not forgetting school...and also my show on Saturdays...
Time is really tight and I'm scared about my assignments...about not being able to complete them...
...and on top of all of that I'm sick...
I need fun...any kind of F.U.N!
Maybe after all the assignments are done...huh...
Reminds me of a tarot card reading someone once did for me...a card which had the picture of a guy who was bent over cos there was a bunch of...more accurately 10 wands on his back.
 * Picture is quite blur...best I could find on the net.
Amongst all the 10 cards that were laid down...I have no idea why but this card stood out...
Description: This card signifies the burden of the material of the individual and on the creative spirit by material cares and worries.
Maybe that's why...

By the amount of sms-es I received…more friends and family than I had expected tuned in to 91.3FM to hear my debut!
THANK YOU!!!
*Huge hugz & wet sloppy kisses*
Can't believe that so many tuned in and actually gave me good comments.
It means so farking much! You have no idea…
I had a blast on air, had a couple of stumbles and was constantly feeling shit-scared.
But it turned out pretty damn ok!
I thought I'd have sounded all screechy on air but apparently not…
Phewww…
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Till next Saturday I shall be smiling like a crazed idiot high on crack or something…

Things like this can happen in this day and age...???
The collapse of the bridge in Minneapolis...it feels like something that only happens in the movies. 4 people have been discovered dead…they're expecting no more survivors…so sad...
On a totally different note…or maybe not…
24 soldiers died in Iraq yesterday...
Just something I came across as I was reading up on this tragedy...
Does it put anything into perspective or even make any sense?

91.3's Commercial Free Saturday Night Request Fest with Elliot Danker and Jane Doe!
Quite a mouthful eh...and yeap that's my on air persona...Jane Doe!
You don't get it? Okies there's a whole explanation involved if you do not know what Jane Doe means. Ever heard of the 'term' John Doe? Lemme get Wikipedia to help me explain it to you...
"The name John Doe is typically used in the United States as a placeholder name for a male party in a legal action or legal discussion whose true identity is unknown. Male corpses or emergency room patients whose identity is unknown are also known by the name John Doe. A female who is not known is often referred to as Jane Doe."
I came across all kinds of stupid names on the web and finally this name cropped up and it was like the clouds cleared…
I figured that the listeners knew nothing about me…and this name adds mystery and a persona that could be ANYTHING! That's freedom in the biggest way possible. The listeners won't expect anything from me, so they'll simply havta listen in to make their own deductions…
So no pressure…on me or on them…I still have time to work on or develop my on-air persona and as for the listeners, they have the choice of fueling their curiosity or ignoring it...at least that's the way I see it…
Waddaya think?
I'm so farking excited!
Sooo here are the details…
PROGRAM: 91.3's Commercial Free Saturday Night Request Fest with Elliot Danker and Jane Doe!

And it has begun…school that is…
I just realized that I took 5 subjects in all instead of the usual 2…I'm so freaking screwed.
Well…not like there's anything else going on…so it's just school and work for next couple of years…with the occasional rendezvous, of course…ahem…
Anyways I went to school on Saturday and guess what I didn't fall asleep in class…I know I know…it's only my 1st class…but hey com'on it was in the middle of the afternoon…I thought I'd be snoring by the time it hit 3pm.
Oh and guess what…they serve refreshments…like cakes and stuff…mmm…I like…
Went into the studio on Saturday night…figured that no one would be around so I could practice however long I wanted. I was kinda amused with myself…I was analyzing my recordings and ended up was talking to myself. Let me give you an example of one of my many monologues that night…
My recording is playing in the background and I go…
"Oh god…that was so lame…you are so lame…and now you've started talking to yourself…Fan-farking-tastic"
…It was kinda funny…and weird at times…No?…guess you had to be there
Anyways as I headed home from the studio…I suddenly didn't feel like going home when that was all I wanted to do since I left home that day…so I got into a cab and went to the club where the rest of the gang was.
It turned out to be a pretty fun night…and it also turned out to be one of the most relaxing nights I've had in a while…
…mainly becos I didn't care what time I got back home cos I had nothing on Sunday and I knew I could sleep in…
…also my Mom told me to go out and just have fun since school has already started and I won't have as much time as before…when your Mom tells you something like that, do you need any other reasons to party?
…I didn't enjoy most of the music the DJ was spinning but I still had fun cos the rest of them were there…
…like I said it's one of 'em nights that doesn't come very often for me…

Rod Monteiro totally messed with my head yesterday
I thought I had it all figured out and then here he comes and in a matter of 5 minutes he made me question if I'm doing all the right things.
I thought I had dreamt big enough and figured that dreaming bigger than that would be ridiculous...but lo and behold...it just might be possible.
He opened my mind to this whole WORLD, and when I say World I mean WORLD, of possibilities. He told me not to expect success but instead expect to learn.
The way he put it all was very...well it was pretty down to earth.
And so now I'm confused...
I've been thinking about what he's told me and as the minutes pass and the thoughts increase, I'm coming to think that it's a journey I might be willing to follow thru on...
I know none of these make sense to you...
Soon enough you'll know...
...and so will I...

So I've finally sat down and edited and uploaded my lil' airtime stint on Radio 91.3 about my naval piercing…
It's about 10 min talkset and as long as you have Windows Media Player you should be able to hear it…if you can't lemme know yeah…
So this is it the reason why my Program Director gave me my own request show…
Funny how things happen eh…

Do you believe that you need love to work out a marriage? Seems like a stupid question right?
Well I thought so too…until someone told me that he's getting married becos…well…cos it's time and not becos he's in love or anything like that.
What kinda bullcrap is that???
I mean I'm no expert on knowing what is the catch to making a marriage work…but I sure as hell think love is a huge…I'm talking mammoth sized deal!
So is it plain immaturity or just…I'm sorry can't think of another reason as to why a person would do that…maybe it's for the sake of fulfilling a responsibility.
I dunno…here I am trying to wrap my brains around the concept of marriage itself…and to make it more complicated by not loving the person you're planning to spend the rest of your life with is just…well…ignorant.
Maybe I'm talking too soon…who knows for what god-forsaken reason I'd get married for…
Anyways…I've been wanting to go to a concert…
…to scream…I mean sing my lungs out… …to sway amidst a sea of bodies… …to have strangers sing so totally out of tune in my ear… …to be completely blown away by the deafening music which will drown out all the other bullshit going on in my head…
