It goes on for seven more sections, but the long and short of it is... exponential human growth is simply going to stop within most of our lifetimes. (I have to assume that some people that read this are older than sixty). We will be witnesses to the most amazing thing to ever happen to the human race. It will be up to us, however, to make sure that there continues to be a human race. Kim, two is enough.

" MIDDLETOWN -- A Middletown woman is accused of being disorderly in public -- while wearing a cow suit.A police report filed about the incident said Michelle Allen allegedly chased children in her neighborhood while wearing the suit on Monday evening.Allen also urinated on a neighbor's front porch, the report said, and was warned by officers to go home and stay there. Allen was charged with disorderly conduct after an officer found her causing traffic problems on North Verity Parkway. The officer's report stated that Allen was verbally abusive to him on the trip to jail and smelled of alcohol. The report did not speculate as to why Allen was wearing the cow suit." Read the report here. It's like the universe said, "ooh, Mark is having a birthday... let's give him an extra special weirdo to read about today."

It's about giant killer rabbits. DeForrest Kelley has a role in the movie. Australians think it's a documentary.

But whether or not I win an argument, I'm still autistic. So, Chris Szabo has de-friended me, saying that he does not expect me to associate with cowards. Now, in a personal message, I did use the word "cowardly", and I also implied that everything he worked for in his entire adult life may in fact, be a lie... so I can't really say that I blame him.
That being said, Chris Szabo is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War, a tireless worker for the causes he believes in, a father, and husband. Those things aren't lies, and such things are not accomplished by cowards.
In any event, my medium superseded my message, as is often the case with myself. What I was trying to say, which is certainly not easy to swallow, but can be presented in a better manner than the way I said it... it this:
It is a falsity to claim that the Democratic party has "always" been for working families and the middle class. That is patently false, because for over 100 years after reconstruction, the Democratic party of the deep south systematically marginalized and oppressed black working families that either were, or were trying to become part of the middle class.
This is surprising to most people since nowadays, the Democratic party has the talking points of "diversity, fairness in the workplace, expanding and strengthining the middle class", and all that jazz. Let me explain how a party of institutional racists stole the black vote from the party of Lincoln.
Wow. That last sentence was harsh.
So, the northern Democratic party was most certainly not... very... racist, and several Democrats of the south, Lyndon Baines Johnson being the most relavant to this history lesson, were not racist, either. Indeed, there were plenty of Republican racists in that time period.
Any ways, the civil rights acts, the most significant and lasting legacies of the 1960s, are the turning point in this narrative. In 1960, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a Republican, signed the 1960 C.R.A, after an unsuccessful filibuster by 18 southern DEMOCRATIC senators.
Lyndon Johnson, then the Senate Majority Leader, finally got the filibuster to end.
The 1964 civil rights act, signed in to law by Lyndon Baines Johnson, would not have come in to law had it not been for the strong support of the Republican Minority in the house and senate. The southern bloc, by the way, led by Richard Russell, DEMOCRAT of Georgia, tried to filibuster this one too.
The 1968 Civil Rights Act, once again signed in to law by Lyndon Baines Johnson, was largely spurred by Martin Luther King's assassination. 90.6% of Republican senators (29-3) and 71.2% of Democratic senators (42-17) voted for the act.
So, as is evident, Republicans were integral in the passage of the 1960s civil rights acts. So... what the fuck happened?
Barry Fucking Goldwater Fucking Happened, that's what the fuck happened.
In 1964, Barry Goldwater won the Republican Party's nomination for president. He was opposed to the civil rights acts, because he believed they were unconstitutional, and would be overturned by the Supreme court, sooner or later, thereby horribly reversing all of the gains and good that the acts would do.
Any ways, Goldwater, not a racist by any means, attracted the racist Democrats to abandon their party and become Republicans, and allowed the party of racists, for racists, to poach 90 percent of the black vote ever since.
So, yeah. I get annoyed when people say that the Democratic party is the party of diversity. It's just the party with the best spin.
Any ways, it all doesn't matter. The Pubes and the Crats are the same. More than likely, Obama and Biden will win enough northern, mid western, and western states to overcome the southern, western, and mid western gains of McCain and Palin.
Both houses will be even more blue, and Obama will be in the White House. Then we will all see what four years of majority government by the Democrats is: a FUCKING NIGHTMARE.
Look at the six years of majority government by the Republicans from 2000 to 2006 for my reasons.
You want to know why Clinton was such a good president? He had to deal with a Republican house and senate.
Don't believe me? You'll see.
You'll see.

"Jesus was a Community Organizer. Pilate was a governor."
Yeah. Really. I don't think it was ever promoted outside of internal capmpaign memos, but that is the honest to God ethos that these people are pushing. The campaign True Believers actually have to take a minute to realize that not only is that an unfair comparison, but that it is also blasphemy.
These are the people that will get key administrative jobs in an Obama presidency.
Now, I am no McCain fan. He has allowed his integrity to crumble to the point that he actually tried to make Obama's insistence on using the constitution when fighting the war on terror evidence that Obama does not understand the fight that we are in.
Look. It's paper or plastic, McCain or Obama. They are both compromised by corporate interests and a political party that does not want to effect real change.
Maybe I am an idealist. At any point... I cannot support either of these flawed men.

So, Kim, Sadie and I were taking an after dinner walk around the block. It went well until just about the half way point. Unfortunately for me but fortunately for Sadie and Kim, I am tall. See, when hornets or wasps defend their nest, they have to drop down from their cruising altitude. Any ways, I started screaming and dropping down when I got stung for the first time, and that gave Kim enough advance warning to pick up Sadie and "bug out", to use a figure of speech.
Getting stung hurts. Geting stung twice on the neck, one such sting on a nerve, hurts about 100 per cent more.
So, yeah. At least I am not allergic. Still, neurotoxin poisoning is a weird experience.
On a more positive note, we are going to watch "Pineapple Express" tonight. That should be fun.

Category: Parties and Nightlife
So, last night was Chatter's night. Oh, and what a night it was. Ron was smoking black and milds, Melissa the attorney was there, There were sketches of a mini-gun replacement penis, we talked of our plans for our Halloween costumes, and we sang.
I sang "Blowing in the wind" and "Mr. Roboto". I was informed that both performances were more than adequate.
God, I am going to miss Wednesday nights. Still, life is getting better. I am feeling more confident, and I look forward to the future, and I have Kim to thank for this.
Kim, I love you.

Kim and I talked about the Russian family with a pet Fishing Cat. Now, the last obscure mammal I talked about was the aardvark. I still like aardvarks. Kim seems to feel that the animals at the zoo aren't as happy as they could be since they probably are just fed ant flavored dog food, but I don't know... the keeper seemed to really care about her aardvark, and he came up to her, and she gave him a pat, so I don't think he's too miserable, living in Detroit with no fear of hyenas or wild dogs eating him. I digress. Fishing cats live in Pakistan, India, and Indonesia. The Indonesian cats are much smaller than the Indian and Pakistani cats. The Indian and Pakistani cats get up to 32 inches long with a foot long tail, and weigh about 26 pounds. They primarily feed on fish. Wow, what a shocker. Any ways, here are some pictures of the Russian family with their cat. I won't post the one of the wife playing with the cat in the bathtub. It's not really all that graphic, but still... I can only imagine what their domestic cat is thinking right at this moment... There are a few more pictures, the bathtub one, and the ones where the cat is eating a chicken and playing, but you get the idea. Here is the link to the whole thing.Szabo, you don't read Russian, do you? I would love to know what these folks are saying about their pet.
