Folks - we are having problems with our ancient account and our myspace music player. Perhaps is time to cancel this page and start a new one.

Please visit OUR NEW WEBSITE - www.nobodyetal.com to listen to our just released recordings. Top notch stuff, baby!

Two Tanks of Gas is a 5 song, vocals - guitar - electric cello duo effort.

Clean Slate is a 5 song, full band release with Seth Phillips on vocals / guitar, Brian McClain on electric cello, Marco Rosano on saxophone and clarinet and Jim Howell on the tubs.

WE ARE WORKING ON GETTING THESE SONGS ONTO iTunes and AMAZON - in the mean time, you can purchase good old fashioned hard copies (so you can gaze at the artwork) at our PayPal powered store embedded within our website.

Mucho Mucho Gracias!

This ongoing video series will feature Nobody, et al. songs set to video promoting the many various venues, fundraisers, and businesses that we work with.

NEW Online Store and much, much more at our NEW WEBSITE: www.nobodyetal.com

Things are looking up indeed!

The Nobody, et al. booking machine is scoring quality gigs for the Fall and Winter. We are wrapping up two seperate ep projects: one is full band with sax and drums, the other is our infamous guitar & cello duo format. AND we have some clever collaborations in the works - stay tuned.

So, with all this positive momentum, we felt there was no time like the present to launch our very own bright and shiny website.

So, take a moment and vote! Drop us a comment too if we haven't heard from you in a while.

NEWS FLASH

Nobody, et al. from Tucson, AZ squares off against Green Day on Saturday night in Phoenix.

This heralded act from Tucson will be performing at The Pink Spot as a vocals.guitar.electric cello duo.

Singer/guitarist, Seth Phillips scoffs at any comparison to the quality of the show.
"In addition to just plain better songs, the venue we will be performing at has better ice cream and they make a killer mocha. Nuff said."

Saturday August 22, 2009 -- 7 PM
49 West Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013

FREE show!
$5 tip suggested to help make sure we can do it again soon!
Going to battle against Green Day does require financial resources.

We will soon be recording a stripped down duo ep. Seth may even do a song or two solo.

Why? We need some duo recordings to pass along to venues / entertainment presenters as this economy is demanding pricing options. Not to mention that not all places are cut out for full band shows all the time. For example, the duo fits very very nicely into coffee houses, upscale dining establishments, and house concert environments. It also really classes up a high end party or reception. So much, in fact, that many of our fans have commented that they prefer the stripped down vocals.guitar.cello version of Nobody, et al. over the full band. Accordingly, they want to purchase what they just heard and enjoyed as well. We are on it.

While we agree the duo format sounds pretty cool, we certainly aren't scrapping the full band sound. In fact, we hope to expound/expand a bit and hit some very larger venues as we roll forward. We've made some new professional musician friends up Phoenix way in the string and woodwind departments and hope to score some fuller, perhaps even full orchestral arrangements for a number of songs (looking for an arranger as we speak).

Be patient. These things don't happen overnight.

As always, we sell no wine before it's time.

Cheers!

Special in-store performance at Guitars, Etc. on Saturday July 25th!

Not all shows have to be in a sticky hot club on 4th Ave, now do they?

We will be jamming a couple of quality sets in our oh so kick-ass Power Trio format with Mr. Frank Arciuolo on sax. Some of you may remember Frank from our gigs at Armitage last Fall. Our good buddy Chris Beeson of Quincy will be performing a short set in between our sets. He's good.....damn good.

We haven't played a family friendly daytime gig in Tucson for a while. Escape the heat, come join us in the air conditioned comfort of Guitar's Etc. All ages show. Bring the kids! Bring the grandparents! Bring a chair if ya want to sit down and take in the whole show......or stroll the store. Itsa very nice.

Guitars, etc. specials that day will include 15% off accessories and a "One of a Kind" Acoustic Guitar sale where select (and these guys know select) acoustic guitars will be marked down all sorts of different ways.

Guitars, etc. 5646 East Speedway Boulevard
Saturday July 25th - 1 pm to 3:30 or so

Oh, yah.........this ties in nicely with our support for this cause.....keep it local, when ya can man. Click on the logo below for more info on the 3/50 project.
