Lol. Not to anyone who is reading this, naturally. She's not even on my f-list.
Well, I've got to clean this room... everything in my hanging closet was hastily thrown to the floor in a crumpled heap. To do list!
-Hang up clothes -Sort through clothes. Throw out at least 10% to make room for new clothes. Throw out 50% of unwanted pajamas. -Put remaining clothes in dresser. -Move boxes of unwanted junk down stairs. Aluminum cans for recycling, too. -Put earrings into new earring sorter. Figure out how to store necklaces without tangling (is this possible?). -Put away junk on top of night table and dresser. -Sweep. -Move all unnecessary boxes into the garage temporarily. This will probably be for another day, when Chase is here to help me.
I have so many damn clothes. This will be a while.

I am now imposing these rules on myself:
1. Stop spending so much money so you can save up a substantial amount to live off of during college. 2. Stop eating out so much. All that sodium is making you bloated. Order water instead of sweet tea. No more forced social eating!

Dr. George Tiller was murdered yesterday morning in Kansas.
In church. "Dr.
Tiller provided critical reproductive health care services,
including abortion services, to women facing some of the most
difficult medical circumstances. He was continually harassed by
abortion opponents for much of his career - his clinic was
burned down, he was shot by a health center protestor, and he
was recently targeted for investigation only to be acquitted by
a jury just a few months ago.
None of this stopped
George Tiller from his commitment to providing women and their
families with compassionate care that others were unwilling to
offer."
It's mind boggling.
Somebody felt that it was so necessary to defend the "lives" of unborn fetuses that it was worth the murder of a living, established, and respectable person.
I believe that God exists. I also believe that many Christians are brainwashed. By each other.
There is so much contradiction, it's painful.

Michelle Obama! Come on, she's got style. For myself I'd tweak it to have less yellow, since I dont like yellow on me, but I must say I love her throw-a-stylish-cardigan-over-everything look. :)

I was making a denim skirt out of an old pair of ugly jeans yesterday. I pretty much finished it except I didn't get to add a split in the back so its hard to lift my leg to get up into the car haha (it's a pencil shape). The reason I didn't was because... I broke two needles and my sewing machine yesterday! :( You know how denim is a really tough fabric and with jeans there's some parts just so thick it's nearly impossible to sew through? Yeah. That happened. Oh and jean pencil skirts are way harder to make than they look! I had to remove and readjust the zipper, realign the whole back seam and take about 5 inches out of the waistband. I thought itd be simple but it took like over 5 hours haha. Silly hips.
My poor machine's memory is only consoled by my not-quite-finished-but-still pretty-cute skirt. Ah well, I'll live for now!

Let's see what they have to say to this:
I have the Samsung Glyde, and the touchscreen has glitches that are incredibly frustrating and are getting progressively worse. There are times when I try to touch any button on the screen and for some reason the touchscreen always recognizes it as the button in the bottom right corner. I have to push the same button over and over again for the phone to select it, and sometimes it gets so bad that I have to restart the phone's power--and it's gotten to the point where that only fixes it a quarter of the time. Even when I have the touchscreen locked, for some reason it seems to detect "touches" that nobody makes, which means the phone will lay there keeping its backlight on until the battery dies.
I have never gotten the phone wet and I have a case on it to protect it from bumps and scuffs. As far as I can tell, I have done nothing to cause it any damage. After doing some research online I found that this phone has a bad reputation for the serious problems with the touchscreen, and that it has been discontinued.
It was $150 for the Glyde with a plan and we purchased insurance/coverage for it. I would like to know if I could exchange it for a replacement phone, or another model, that is not as difficult to deal with.

I would be sitting at home on Christmas Eve. I would be in my own bed, so excited that I don't really get to sleep deeply. I would wake up over and over throughout the night, peeking at the clock over various early hours in the morning. I would finally get up and wake everyone up at 5. I would open presents and take pictures of people opening theirs. There would be cheesey christmas music playing in the background. I'd take all the loot up to my room and gloat over my presents, then nap. Then I'd go be all merry with the family and eat dinner.
But NO. We're having Christmas at Aunt Vicky's this year.

Relieved and surprisingly not too disappointed. Just a little. But I feel a heck of a lot better now, I think. Now I can focus on much less depressing things. I can't believe it took me this long.

I think imma do a stop motion video for my humanities self expression thing.
And I'll do it more smoothly than these folks, hopefully. Though theirs is still pretty darn entertaining.

Went and sorted through the big pile of mail from this week. Since dad NEVER looks at it, it seems. Had to sort out the important/urgent stuff and bills. What I got: Lots of colleges telling me to come see their campuses, bills, and my ACT scores!
I was so relieved to find that I didn't do so terribly on the ACT after all! Not incredible, but fairly well. Probably good enough for UGA. Though I'd still like to take it again since I know I could do even better if I actually got to finish all the questions in time. We'll see. If I don't have a real good feeling after taking the SAT then I'll just take the ACT again.
And then bills... blah. There goes $25. I'm gonna have to pay my ticket soon. And then I'll have.... like, $10 left in my bank account. UGH.

Gonna go visit this weekend! It's so strange I miss it like this when I used to hate living there. Life was so simple and carefree back then; I should've appreciated it more. This summer was probably my favorite summer ever. :) I like the city a lot less now that I have to drive.
If you wanna hang out then that's cool. Yeah, you too, if you have time.
Otherwise I think I'll just go to the park alone and swing all day. And spin on the big spinny thing. And practice hopping up high enough backwards that I can jump up and sit on that big tractor tire. I really love that park.
Or maybe I'll secretly go to The What. I could use a good laugh.

I downloaded the Metro Station album because I liked their song Shake It. And, well, it turns out they're pretty awesome and I like their other songs too. I had forgotten Leah mentioning they had made a song with the title of my name, so it was a nice little surprise when I downloaded the album, you could say.
So anyways, it feels strange to hear a love song with your name repeated over and over. Someone saying all these nice, adoring, loving things...
I need to think of something to look forward to so I can daydream happily. :)
