Current mood:  jubilant

Okay, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I find fart humor to be HYSTERICAL. I can laugh my @ss off about farting. I don't like the smell actually, but the sound is FUNNY. My husband thinks I'm disgusting when it comes to fart humor (and I can't really blame him).

But what was so cool was that tonight my hubby and I had a double date dinner with an ex baseball star and his wife. She and I somehow got into how funny we found farts. The men were mortified but we laughed so hard we were crying. (Is that wrong?)

Anyway as soon as I got home, I changed the batteries in my personal automated fart machine (not me...it's a real machine) and I'm sitting in wait for my hubby to come home. Immature? Probably. But I've been laughing so hard all night my eyes are watering. So it's worth it.

Well, the fast pace of today's world can leave you spinning out of control and feeling ineffective. Let me put it in perspective for you…..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

In 2005, there was an experiment done by an English psychiatrist who gave IQ tests to three groups of volunteers…

  • One group was the control;
  • One group was multi-tasking with emails and phones;
  • And the final group was stoned on marijuana!

Guess what? The stoners outscored the multi-taskers by an average of 6 points! Could you outscore a stoner?

I'm here to tell you that easy, new solutions to being more productive in less time are definitely a reality. Sounds crazy, but it's not. If you're interested, there is a free call next Wednesday May 30th 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern to be exact called,

*The 4-Hour Workweek: Secrets of Doing More with Less in a Digital World*

My friend Joe Polish will be interviewing the author, Timothy Ferriss. (I'll post the number soon - there's no gimmick, by the way. It's just a great book and we want to help Timothy spread the word.)

On this call, you'll learn how to:

=> Knock the *busyness* out of your life so you can focus on *business* and FREEDOM (yes, they CAN co-exist);

=> Increase productivity 100-500% while actually DECREASING your workload (this technique is not a gimmick – just an often overlooked principle);

=> Apply Pareto's famous 80/20 rule to instantly shift the direction of your life (when you know which 80% percent to apply it's easy);

=> Read effectively 200% times faster to digest what you truly need (and filter out the garbage you don't);

=> Outsource tasks that bog you down to overseas companies for as little as $5 an hour (many of these businesses have employees with MBAs and Master's degrees who are thrilled to do your bidding);

=> Get a free $30 credit for Google Adwords (I'm sure you know how to spend that for your business);

=> Get a free 60-minute interview of with Timothy explaining exactly how he hit the New York Times bestseller list with nothing but well-placed e-mail and sample books (and how you can do it too!)

=> And so much more!

Don't put off happiness until you're a teetering old fart...

You don't have to anymore. You can actually create your ULTIMATE LIFESTYLE now! There are simple solutions you can put in place to actually redesign your life in less than 48 hours. So be there!

I'll be listening for you!

Sincerely,

YOUR NAME

I just got in from my mastermind meeting in Phoenix. I decided to do it all in one day since I'm in LA and I didn't want to leave my sons on their own. Okay, they're teens so it's not a big deal to leave them but, hey, I'm their mom. It's my job.

So to make it the most comfy traveling day possible (I got up at 5am and returned at 10pm) I knew I needed comfortable shoes. Did I want to wear my Jimmy Choo pumps or my Manolo Blahniks? My Manolos always win hands down. They are soooo comfy I could walk for miles in them (and have). But I have to say after a full day in heels when I'm used to being barefoot at my computer was a bit much to handle. Plus the Phoenix airport is super spread out. My dogs are swollen and sore now.

But DON'T BLAME THE SHOES! They are awesome and worth every penny. I feel like I'm floating on a cloud when I wear them. I don't even mind taking them off to go through security because they are HOT. I'll write more about my mastermind later. Right now it's time to hit the hay. See ya'll later!

I just got in from my Elite Retreat cruise, which was a floating weekend mentorship with a handful of Platinum Elites I've been mentoring for a year. We sailed from outside of ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico. It was just three days, but what a powerful cluster of days it was. You can see pictures on my blog...:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The first day was just to get reacquainted. We've all worked together in person, but most of our work is done over the phone, through email, and via webinar. We talked about everything EXCEPT business – on purpose. The Internet was .50 per minute and phone calls were $7.49 making connection to the outside world cost prohibitive. They joked we were on "Lo's Survivor," – to see who could actually survive without electronics.

The second day was all about relaxing. We exercised, then rewarded ourselves with spa treatments. At lunch we headed into Mexico to see the sights. We didn't hang out in Mexico long. But, again, it was nice to completely shut off the business world.

The third day was when the magic happened. After disconnecting for two days, we were ready to roll up our sleeves and rip into bettering our businesses. With the ocean waves outside the windows we broke down each Elite's business into big picture items and doable action steps. I love masterminding. Whether in person or through an electronic connection, there is no better way to turbo charge your business than through a mastermind.

Which is why, if you are a professional COPYWRITER, and ready to take your business to a whole 'nother level you've never seen before, you definitely want to consider applying for my Red Hot Copywriting Gold Mentorship program (launching in June. It's not for everybody by any means. It is an application-based process for copywriters already working in the field. I will help you strengthen your copywriting muscles, manage clients from beginning to end, and funnel leads (to those with the right stuff). Cut off for applications is May 31st. Those accepted will be announced on my birthday, June 1st! Our kick-off call is June 12th.

Oh, I almost forgot! My webinar for *Online Marketer of the Year* was earlier today so come out and vote for me!!! It's F-R-E-E so please support me, if you can. You can learn more about it here, www.onlinemarketeroftheyear.com/lorriemorgan-ferrero.

Make it a magical week! And remember, don't do anything you don't want to do.

Current mood:  relaxed
Category: Life

I created my MySpace page awhile ago but I've all but abandoned it. I don't really know how to navigate around. But I'll work it.

Today I'm getting ready to hold the wrap-up meeting for my Elite Platinum Mentoring group on marketing. It's been a fun year. There are a couple of newer members I'll continue working with, but my focus is now on copywriting education more than full-on marketing.

It's hard to type today because I had a boxing lesson yesterday. Ouch. Even though my hands were wrapped my trainer was really pushing me. The hardest workout in the world (except for maybe kickboxing).

The song I'm listening to right now is on my professional blog at www.redhotcopy.com/blog.htm if you're interested. There's some strong language so listeners beware.

Okay, signing off for now.

The Speed Copywriting Workshop is taking place April 20-22 in Los Angeles. Watch the process of throwing an event of this size on this blog. I'll be taking you behind the scenes and sharing my trials and tribulations around getting this event on its feet!
