Situational HELP!!!
The HOT Topic this past week was "We had a 3 some but now it's very complicated for my wife...need advice please!", posted by smpdjd. He posted that he and his wife had their first threesome with another man that they both really liked. However, now his wife is confused about her feelings. She wants to sleep with the other man one-on-one, which one part of him wants to let her and the other part is afraid it might turn into an affair. The HOT Topic this past week was, "Activities with cheating men. Thoughts?", posted by LetsParty . They were out with another couple and during the conversation it was discovered that the wife will go out with married men, who are cheating on their wives and thinks there is nothing wrong with this as she's not the one lying, they are.  This set them back a bit and they are looking for others thoughts on this. The majority of the responders agreed that this was wrong in their opinion as they felt if someone is going to lie to their spouse, what stops them from lying to them and that they would not knowingly play with a cheater. "Ethical Non Monogamy" was our first HOT Topic this past week, posted by ViSexual.  He posted a link to an article that used the term 'ethical non-monogamy' to describe swinging and other alternative lifestyles. He feels that it isn't what you do nearly as much as choosing the right words or spins, in describing it.  Those that responded had varying views.  There were some that felt no matter what word or term you used to describe 'swinging', it was still the same thing.  Others felt that yes, it did matter what term/word was used as the meaning behind the word or term described things differently. There were also those that didn't really care one way or the other and just felt that the article was well written.  What do you think? Is a rose by any other name just as sweet? Our second Hot Topic was "GFE-Prostitution In The Lifestyle, Part II", posted by Spoomonkey.  He asked if prostitution were legalized, how do you think this would affect the lifestyle and how would those changes affect your experience with the lifestyle? The majority of responders seemed to think that legal prostitution would not affect the swing clubs or swing lifestyle at all, as they feel that the two would still remain separate. A few posted that if prostitution were legal and prostitutes were allowed in swinger clubs they would no longer attend swinger clubs. Where as a few other posters said that they could see where it would be much easier to find a single female for FMF threesomes if prostitution were legal. She's flattered they had a good time and want to do it again but she's not sure how to handle the situation correctly. The HOT Topic this past week was "After the swing", posted by trinigemini.  She posted that she has never swung before but her future husband has in the past and would like for them to get into it in the future, even though he said they never have to if she does not want to. One of the things that she has been thinking about is what happens after you swing.  She's not sure how she will feel knowing that her husband was intimate with someone else or how she will feel attractive knowing that she's not enough for him and that he finds other women attractive. Situational HELP!!!
In "Finding a partner for my wife", Freebird8 post that he and his wife have had threesomes in the past as well as her playing alone, which he enjoys. The HOT Topic this past week was posted by iapr asking, "When you say "_______", what do you really mean?". After surfing profiles they have come across phrases that to them seem like profile euphemisms and are now curious as to what people really are trying to say when they use them. Some examples that they gave were; Looking for friendship first, will not play on the first date and not looking for bed notchers or one night stands.  They don't believe that these phrases are actually literal in meaning so they are asking what is at the root of these and other common phrases that most likely are not literal in meaning.  A few responders posted that to them, the phrases were literal in meaning as that was the way they really felt.  Some felt that these phrases were newbie flags and others posted that they did have the phrases in their ads in the beginning but as time went on, they have phased them out of their ads.   What do these phrases mean to you? They experienced their first time having to sneak out of the house with their children around by having the Mrs. leaving the house in jeans and a sweatshirt, instead of her high heeled boots and mini-skirt, for a night at the club.
