From the desk of Anthony K. Christie Esq. III, So, my brain technically works all day but it's late at night when all my totally dope ideas come out...and I drank a rockstar to stay awake during my computer class. ANYWHO, here's some news: We've got some shows set up for the next little bit. Friday Nov. 7th-Mo's Neighborhood Grill, Tuesday Nov. 25th-Kilby Court!, Someday Dec. 12th-Avalon Theater. Go to them. We unveil new songs that we're writing for our next CD.
Speaking (writing) of the next CD, we're planning on doing 5 songs. We have 3 so far: So I Guess It's Not Easy Growing Up Everywhere Cowboy Showdown A Thousand Times (that may or may not be the title) Now I know you're excited but don't expect it for a while. We still have 2 songs to write and then we have to record (the funnest thing ever). So maybe, early next year. What else? Maybe you should get to know the band better. We each have different jobs. Shaun sets up the shows and promotes them. He's PR. I'm the producer. I make the songs sound nice at shows and on CD. Robbi is in charge of mechandise. You may have noticed that we don't sell T-Shirts or many other things. Hmmm......whose fault would that be? Do this for me, find Robbi's page and send him messages, two messages, or more and just be like,"Where's the shirts?" Start a revolution and we'll get our shirts! Oh and Jameson, I don't remember what he's in charge of. Is that how you spell his name? It suddenly doesn't look right.
Last thing, street team perhaps? Or a way to get our name out. I was thinking giving little 3 song samplers to anyone interested in handing them out to their friends. If anyone has any good ideas for a small organization that would help us promote stuff send it here. THANKS!!!

We've gone through a lot of ideas for our album name (most of them were dumb). As far as we know we're going to call it Tuesday Night Date. We all liked it when Shaun said it and it actually applies to the making of the album. You can expect the finished product in a month or so. People ask,"Why is it taking so long to record?" My answer,"Because we want it to be awesome and not sucky. Derrrrr."
We've recorded all the favorites and a couple of new songs too. We even cut one of our personal favorites to make way for the stuff that the people want. Now that's customer service. Here's the track list (not in order):
Two Messages
Just For The Ladies
Sexy Rock
A Matchbox And Ashes
Feel Good Moment Of The Year (Part I)
Romance Is For Romancers
Back To You (new!)
Said And Done (new!)
So that's like what, 8 songs? Sweetness! When it comes out and y'all get a chance to listen to your new favorite cd be sure to thank the mighty Gregg Hale who is recording it for us. We sound good but he makes us sound great!
While you're all still here let me take a minute to plug some friends of mine named Phil and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Besides having the coolest band name ever they're also just starting out but I like what I'm hearing. Check out their profile. I already told Ted I'd help them out any way I can so you know it's gonna be good. Also be on the lookout for Alternate Version (formerly known as Clinically Proven). They just underwent a lineup and name change. Trust me, it'll be awesome.
Much Love, Anthony + Unknown Anthem

So here's the news: We finished recording a short, 3 song acoustic cd that we've been selling at shows for $1. It sounds awesome even though we recorded it in Robbi's basement. We did a lot of work recreating a studio setting so that the audio would come out nice and it did. Buy it! It's probably one of the few times you'll hear me ( Anthony) sing.
We're getting ready to record an electric album. Hot diggity!! More news when it's available.
And THE MOST IMPORTANT NEWS from the band: We have a new drummer! His name is Jameson Jackson and we'd like to thank him for jumping right in practicing with us. The songs are sounding great! Which leads to the other change: I play guitar now. Sweetness. It's opened alot of doors in creativity when the singer doesn't have to play all the guitar parts at the same time. Watch out now!

Hey kids, this is Anthony. Usually Robbi will take care of the blogs but today it's my turn because of this new song we put up. It's put together of a bunch of different ideas I've had for a long time. I came up with the main flow of the song but of course we worked as a band to get the whole thing put togther. There are a lot of parts that Robbi and Shaun added to this song that really make it what is. Many thank yous to them.
For anybody who thinks that it's about a girl well it's not. It's actually being sung to a bad habit. So if you pay attention to the words you'll understand a bit better how I feel about bad habits.
We recorded this on that same tape recorder in Robbi's basement. Oh I can't wait for the days when we can go into a studio and spend hours and hours on our material. I'm a patient perfectionist. But basically this is what it will sound like live......speaking of which:
We'll be playing in a HUGE battle of the bands next year spanning several weeks. So we need all the support you can give us. More details to come. Peace! Anthony

Well as you can see unknown anthem finally put a song onto the page. (Due to overwhelming demand). The song is called two messages and it is a demo becasue we have not recorded the seperate tracks yet. this is why is sounds like it is live. Oh yeah, we used an old tape recorder too, that's right analog style. but as soon as we find the time to get into a studio, or decide to record the parts separatly, and digitally this is what we have to offer you, our loving myspace fans. Oh yes we are also planning some update s to our site, so if you are tired of staring at the crappy HTML coding job Robbi did, you need not worry, for as i type our site's new code is being debuged.
Oh yeah, Unknown Anthem Loves you.

So... Over the Weekend the band went up to Utah State University, and had a blasty-blast. We had thought that we would just be playing for a few of our friends in the park or something. But Morgan found us a party to play at, which was way awesome of her, and we only played a few songs but everyone seemed to like the ones we played. I failed to mention this earlier but we played an acoustic set at the party so we would not have to take all of the amps and cords and stuff we didn't need. We attemped to record the set while we were up there, but we don't know how much recording was acctually done. But it was the first "tour" that the band has gone on and if you give us a holla we might even come and visit you.
