I'm really taking time to concentrate so I can work toward accomplishing some goals; 2009 was great. I accomplished some small tasks on my agenda which ultimately equaled to a huge success and overall I'm proud. However, I know that it doesn't stop here ...
I will keep you all posted on the progress of "The Revelation of Real Love", "Love Spells" Vol. 1 and the play "Don't Stop the Music" ...

Well, I've lost about 10 lbs and I must say that the hips are as curvaceous as they wanna be! I have to credit it all to walking. I want to be healthy, having good health is important to me but I so appreciate the reward of exercise as well.

Man, if it wasn't for me getting in a car accident I would probably still be riding to and from the corner store (less than a mile away - shame on me lol), on the computer all the time and making plans to DRIVE to the park to walk ... lol I did that very few times over the last two yrs and 10 months ... but since I've taken a break from driving I've traveled more than ever, walked almost everyday, my thighs feel great not to mention that these stairs in my house give me a daily work out. So POWER TO MY WALK!!

An engineer is a person professionally engaged in a field of engineering. Engineers are concerned with developing economical and safe solutions to practical problems, by applying mathematics and scientific knowledge while considering technical constraints.^[1][2] As such, the work of engineers is the link between perceived needs of society and commercial applications. Some consider this profession to be the link between art and science.  

Here's why we need to be Music Business Engineers (not engineers of the music but of the Business ... The music industry was not designed by musicians. Well let me say that the corporate structure was designed by business men, inventors and engineers.

The creative forces had very little to do with how a music company should operate ... I know this is old news to all the pros. but I have to put it in print (for myself 1st) just incase I need to have a reference to come back to whenever I begin to ask myself, "Why am I taking the business route first".

History proves that inventors and manufactures invested there money in music because music and entertainment is an attraction that is comparable and has the same allure that the fountain of youth or tree of life has. Nobody wants to grow old and everybody wants to be entertained and when you can find good entertainment you've revived your youth... music is captavating! In fact, its often used as the devil's advocate but that's another topic.

Back to the point ...
We need to be an Engineer of our crafts. We need to work for our talent to make it work for us and then turn around and duplicate our efforts. Learn about the "Big Four" and who established the major record labels. Where did their capital derive from ... it wasn't from music - that's for sure. It came from Electronic Companies, Liquor Manufactures and Water Companies.

Listen we'll never be able to reinvent the wheel (Right) but we can become engineers and constantly design NEW ways to IMPROVE it! Remember what you read above? The work of engineers is the link between perceived needs of society and commercial applications. Soceity perceives that we NEED certain types of music to be apart of the POPULAR SECTOR OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. This is why commercial applications are infused with music and force fed to the public via mass communications. IF MORE ARTIST BECOME ENGINEERS THEN THEY WOULD HAVE CONTROL OVER THE PERCEPTION. In return they would have more control over what gets commercialized and what is considered a NEED! Thinkers are you with me?

I'm so serious about this and I have this feeling all over me, inside and out that something GREAT is about to happen ...  we'll at least for me lol And, I want that SOMETHING GREAT to happen for you all too but you've got to THINK LIKE AN like an ENGINEER - they are creative too!

Act like an artist on stage and a business person everywhere else! Cause at the end of the day if you don't then you will have NO IDENTITY OF YOUR OWN!! You will be merged, renamed, sold, dropped and digitalized! Ok you get it so take note...
