Boy oh boy, We had 4 guest other than sponsors and organizers show up for the public viewing of "Hemplands Conspiracy" and two of them came from Tulsa Ok, and the other two from Alva.
After the viewing we all marched with hand made signs in hand to the County Courthouse where we had the spirit of thousands as we listened to great cannabis friendly music and protested marijuana laws. We had approximately 20 people all together show up and give us a hand holding signs and chilling with us.
 Jeff Pickens and Gary webb and I all put in a little time on the mic (I'll upload videos later).
It was very fun and exiting and I couldn't have asked for better company,in fact only the most awesome of people showed up. Thanks for everything guys & gals!!
Special thanks too Larry Bonnel for splitting the cost with me on the room at the college.Your awesome Larry!!!   I would also like to thank Jeff Pickens for joining us as well (Your awesome too).

Jeff Pickens and a couple others from the Drug Policy Forum of Oklahoma will speak at the Public Viewing and at the protest its self.I have also made contact with Norma Sapp of the Oklahoma NORML Chapter to see if she would be available.I will post another blog when I get more info.

We are now planning a march from the College to the Woods County Courthouse after the public viewing..

We will be marching from the College to the Wood County Courthouse.

March will start at around 1 or 1:30 pm after the public viewing.

Protest Starts: Around 2:00 pm   Ends: Around 6:00 pm

on College & Flynn west side of the square.

Well I thought I had received the large 2nd print of the GMM posters but when i opened the package it was actually posters for the "40th annual smoke in" in D.C.
I would imagine this is also in association with the "Real Marijuana March" also in D.C. July 4th 2009.

If you would like posters please contact me and  I will do my best to get some sent to you.

The GMM posters should be coming soon so look for a post about those later.

The protest has been approved by our Commissioners I have also obtained permission for a public viewing of "Hemplands Conspiracy"
I'm currently waiting for final approval to use the Ranger Room at NWOSU for the Film.

If things go as planned we will have the Public viewing of "Hemplands Conspiracy" at the NWOSU Ranger Room at 11:30 am to 12:45 pm

From there we will meet for a protest of marijuana laws at the west end of the Woods County Courthouse from 2:00 pm to around 5 or 6 pm

I will be meeting with the County Commissioners on Monday to get
permission to use the Courthouse lawn..I will also be looking for a
place to have a viewing of either G.R.A.S.S. The History of Marijuana
or Hemplands  Conspiracy. So our plans may be changing a little but
we'll just have to wait and see what happens.Waiting for a return phone call from both documentary producers to obtain written permission for a public viewing.I hope we get permission!!
