iPhoto is great for photos.  But it's also a great tool for helping be inspired.  Creating a photo album where you can dump all imagery or photos comes in handy when starting on a new project.

Many images on the internet can be saved directly to iPhoto.  On a Mac most images can be dragged and dropped.  Keeping it organized is a piece of cake.

"Creative Camp" might be a bit vague.  As mentioned in other places on this page, Denver is entering into an exciting chapter of its history.  Many significant events have all happened in a short period of time.  Not many major U.S. cities are standing on the edge of evolution as Denver is.  We feel this is the time to put Denver on the global map as a premeire creative city.  Bringing together the creative energy in Denver will inspire the next generation of creatives to shape the cultural landscape, which ultimately will lead to better jobs.

For example, if you were a graphic designer in Portland, Oregon you would have more jobs to choose from, with better hourly rates than in Denver where the cost of living is 3-5% higher.  Picture the city of Denver 5 years from now where a creative person doesn't have to struggle to find a decent job, or get paid a decent amount for their talents.

This event is called SEED because it is designed to grow within the fabric of Denver's culture and one day give back much like a tree gives fruit.

On Fridy September 21, the fall equinox, SEED will have a sensory environment where all 5 senses will be inspired.  Once attendees have had a chance to relax and mingle, the host(s) and featured speakers will talk about their repective topics.  The following day attendees will break out into smaller groups to tackle a creative project.  Finished projects will be presented, and the crowd favorite's presenters will be invited to plan the next SEED. This will allow others to breathe creative life into the movement.  Projects will be diplayed publicly and featured either in a short film on YouTube or in a coffee table book  And if that weren't enough, over the next 7 days there will be a series of satellite events around the city with exclusive experiences where all five senses will be stimulated.  Inspiration = Creative Energy.

Thank you for being a part of SEED!  More info to come.. Check out seeddenver.org

Serge Hochar is a winemaker located 30 miles outside of Beruit.  This article on MSNBC is interesting because he still follows is passion to create great wine in the middle of a war zone.

Somewhere between sober and twisted, the right side of your brain makes a stop in your happy creative place.  Chances are, most of you have been there.  It's a mental state where the creative right side of your brain wakes up and begins to play.  Even as an adult it's a child like fascination.

If the analytical left brain lives in a corral, the creative right side needs a large pasture to roam free.  It's easy to lose track of time once you lose yourself in creative outlet.

Getting to that place isn't easy once you become a working adult.  In a job setting, employers want to hold you back, limit you to being cooped up in the corral all day long.  Creative juices are kept in check as most companies don't understand how to manage, or even get the most out of a creative thinker.  The companies that do embrace, and even balance left brain and right brain thinking are usually the ones at the top of their industry.

How do you open up the gates to run free creatively?  Inspiration is a powerful force, almost as powerful as love.  We want to help remind right brain thinkers how to be inspired by taking you to that place.  By stimulating all 5 senses, it will inspire the next generation of creative minds collectively, who will in turn shape the future of this city through creative energy.
