never thought of cutting off the the things that i adore never thought i'd see the things that happened once before never wanted to forgive or what to give who for there's something left inside my soul for me to carry on...
tried to keep from running, running quickly out the door trying to give something when we're trying to give more try to keep from running from the things i did before there's something left inside my soul for me to carry on and on...
it only takes a moment to spend eternity in an instance we live our lives for no one else to see
all that we have left is who we want to be here for all the dreams and all the things experienced before all thats on my mind is what my own mind does adore there's something left inside my soul for me to carry on... and on and on and on

Breaking away, soon will come a day. Taking the time to do what you know is right. All these years we worked so hard... Finally found ourselves reaching for the stars.
It's never too late, we've come this far It's all about you You know who you are
Too many days, wondering where you are Too many times I dreamed, and never went this far now to be with you want to see it thru
All those years ago, so far apart Every time I think where do I start? Time will tell us where we want to be The hills are steep you can't see thru the trees now to be with you want to see it thru
It's never too late, we've come this far It's all about you You know who you are now to be with you want to see it thru

Our Way
Can't Fight for My Way Can't Fight for Yours but day to day we live and the future we don't give a damn Its Our Way or none at all
We don't see the reason we can't create time but we're here together and to me that's just fine It's Our Way or none at all
When you open Your Eyes Don't Forget to see the faces of the people you've met hearing their names when they're passing you by doesn't seem the same as when theyr're right by Your side.
Can't Fight for My Way Can't Fight for Yours but day to day we live and the future we don't give a damn Its Our Way or none at all

Last night there were no dreams, no means of understanding This morning there is daylight, in the way of their planning they bring you a philosophy beyond your reality we all want to give the king his due, when the bombs are coming thru need to live a little longer to kill an innocent few. Stuck in Beruit, lost in Iraq, some went and never came back There's a laughing boy, playing golf somewhere his mothers making cookies, and she's proud of what he dares Follow the order. Follow the few, and follow the many of us in which who is paying whom?

Calling
Calling, calling for love again.
We're calling a nation to keep peace on the streets.
We ask this world to live in everlasting harmony
Do what you want to when you need to
it's time to rise above the fighting
Hear what you hear in a falling tree when no ones near,
and no ones here to see this time... We talk of utopia,
another day of hanging in the shade
there's fruit on the tree and there's fish in the sea
We've seen misery, war disease,
and poverty too much polution on the shore
hard to find what's in store
Calling, calling for love again again and again
communication break down this time we hope that someone hears the cries,
the lies of industry, and our needs do what you want to when you need to
time to rise above the fire
clear what you need to from your mind when tomorows left behind
and no ones here to see this time

Set me Free recorded by Dana, Lucky, Leroy, and Lascko
You sway me in a way I don't see
You played me, but I don't want to play that way
All that I give her is all the time I can take
All I've got time for is not enough anyway
You baby, every day is like a dream,
You betrayed me, but I don't want to walk away.
All I've got time for is all the time I can take
All that I'm asking is for you to stay.
I know you won't let me down. The wheels keep spinning round
I know you won't set me free, I know you won't let me be.
You sway me in a way I don't see
And you baby, every day is the same thing.
All that I'm asking is for you to stay.
All I've got time for is not enough anyway
I know you won't let me down, my feet are on the ground
I know you won't set me free, I know you won't let me be.

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, ofcourse, who doesn't? For those of you who know me, I have been through some trying times this year in my personal relationship. I've never been one to spread drama, especially my own. So I won't go there here. At close to the age of 40, I feel like I am still 20. I am a GM for one of the coolest companies on the planet, Guitar Center. We have some great people there! I am also a songwriter. I have been lucky enough to share this passion with some good friends of mine, Jason VanMeter, Jason Hicks, Lucky Fokker, Senator Spence, and even Brenda. Although we all were each influenced by music in a different way, we have come together always with a unified vision of our art. Having written songs for over twenty years, out of adolescence, the foundation of our work has been laid through our experience. The writings alone provoke many thoughts, that in many times in my life, have had different meanings. (depending on the experience) This is where our life's drama is documented. If you want to know anything about us, read into our lyrics. Yes… don't just read them… read into them. I will be sharing them on my blog. Hopefully you will listen to the songs as well. Most recently, I have been working with VanMeter, and Hicks on perfecting "our sound". For those of you who have seen us perform, you've seen our best, and our worst. Thanks to our hard work over the past year, our worst is behind us. For those of you who haven't seen us perform, we are not a, get off your ass and boogie band. We follow in the footsteps of Beatles, Pink Floyd, CSN, and many others, in creativity, expression, and experimentation. Our music is a retrospect on not just our own lives, but, the human experience. While many of the tunes may be upbeat, all have a message. Our message is not just sent in one song however. It has been collections of songs over the years, which for me, explain our message. What is the message? Well… I leave it to those interested enough in exploring what we are putting together. My newest song, out of experience, is called "Goodbye". I have already in the two days of having this song posted received numerous emails on the strength of this song. The first version was rough, and received 60 plays the first day! I replaced it with a better recorded version yesterday, and it already has 20 plays. It seems that in life through some of our most trying times, can bring out things inside that we can occasionally share, and others may even relate to. I have always enjoyed writing love songs, unfortunately for me, most of them are out of a moment of despair and confusion. There have been plenty of good times, and some of those are written about too! Check out "Forever", by my alias, DangusKincaid on iTunes worldwide. This year, Brenda I completed an album we worked on for the last 3 years. Although some of the tunes have been posted on myspace, and youtube, (you can check out, Something's Different, by clicking here) I am not sure at this point if the Album itself will ever be released. If there's any more to that story, I am sure it will be written about. Hope you can check VCH (VanMeter, Clarke & Hicks) out at our upcoming events, posted on my myspace. Thanks for your interest, and please drop a line, even if its just to say hello.

All it seems as if I were lost in a dream... Any day, love will find its way to me. All along, I have fallen... fallen for you, in a dream, pardon me.
Every time I sing to myself... I could have waited, hesitated.
Every weakness brings tears to my eyes. Every moment that comes near... I see clearer sunny skies. Rising up to the challenge, I tell you goodbye... "goodbye".
Every time I sing to myself, I could have waited, reinstated... but, you gave your love to someone else.
Walk away, you don't have to say a thing. All the same... true love will find its way to me, someday... I'll have to fall in love again.
