This Friday he’ll return to the big screen as Sir John, father of Lawrence Talbot, the poor guy who turns out to be a werewolf in ‘The Wolfman,’ but Anthony Hopkins is already working on his next film, the movie adaptation of ‘Thor,’ the famous Marvel comic book. Hopkins plays Odin, who is none other than God, and for that he grew a long beard. “I think it’s about time I play God,” he laughs and reveals exclusively to Trailer Park that it was an easy role to play. “All I have to do is grow the beard. When they dress you up with this armor and helmet and everything it’s easy. Besides, I think that I AM God. We all are. But I don’t wanna get too philosophic about it.”

Hopkins also says that the filthy image of his character in ‘The Wolfman’ was his idea. “I thought about it and said to the director that I want a long dirty fingernails, scars, and tobacco stains near the mouth. Universal Studios didn’t like the idea, they want everything clean cut, you know. It’s funny we’re living in such a clean age, I wanted to smoke a cigar and they went ‘No, no.’ What’s the matter with us? Even on TV when you see breasts they have to blur them out.”

Regency Enterprises are planning on doing to a new couple what they did to Brad and Angelina
Regency Enterprises are planning on doing to a new couple what they did to Brad and Angelina. Why? Because they’re planning a ‘facelift’ for ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith,’ the movie that originally made the ”royal couple” meet.

That facelift is basically a new storyline, but with a different couple, Mr. & Mrs. Jones, who are a bit younger (and…ahm…cheaper). Akiva Goldsman will produce the ‘Jones’ movie, as he did the ‘Smiths.’

Do you think it’s a good idea? Who would you want to star in the rebooted movie (considering that they have to be singles, a potential couple and in their twenties)?

It ain’t an Elvis song, it’s a title of a new movie, based on the 90s novel by Janet Enanovich. The novel tells the story of a jobless lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter, and since the movie was in the plans for ages, at the beginning it was Reese Witherspoon who was supposed to play the lead, but in the end it went to Katherine Heigl.

The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star is obviously loved by Columbia Pictures, since they’re now working on re-writing the script especially for her, and trying to find a director. Heigl is known for her big screen comedy appearances in ’27 Dresses’ and ‘The Ugly Truth.’

Last night Hollywood Boulevard was filled up with stars, as the premiere of the all-star movie, ‘Valentine’s Day,’ was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Shockingly, Taylor Loutner arrived without Taylor Swift (after it was reported that the two have been dating since they met during the movie’s filming), and Jessica Beil arrived without her other half, Justin Timberlake. Julia Roberts arrived with her sister. But there were some supportive couples out there: Demi Moore, came to support her Kutcher, who stars in the film, and Eric Dane was accompanied by his 8.5 months pregnant wife. But why are we talking when we have pictures? Please feel free to hit the comments with your Fashion Alerts.

Joe Johnston, who directs the upcoming ( this weekend) movie ‘The Wolfman,’ revealed some new details exclusively to your own MySpace’s Trailer Park about his next project, ‘Captain America.’ “It’s the origin story that we’re telling,” he says. “It is the story of how he [Steve Rogers] becomes Captain America. Once there’s an origin story if there’s to be a sequel, it would be present day”

Johnston also told us that he prefers an unknown actor for the lead role. “Unknown actors don’t come with any baggage. We have to take this guy from skinny 98 pounds, to the perfect human specimen, and if you have a known actor it’s hard to imagine both sides of that. In a perfect world it is someone who we don’t know, who brings a whole new face to the screen”

What is your take on that? Shove them into the comment box!

‘Gunsmoke’ was a very popular TV show that started in the 50s, and continued for twenty years. The show starred James Arness as the lawman Marshal Matt Dillon, who keeps the peace in the rough Dodge City. Now a big screen movie adaptation is in the making for 2012 release by CBS films, and 2 actors are currently competing for that Marshal Dillon role: Brad Pitt and Ryan Reynolds.

CBS is high on Pitt, but since there’s no director cast yet, the talk about the lead role is still going on. The idea is to maintain the ‘western’ feel in the movie that was so much a part of the show. Marshal Dillon will carry on his adventures with the help of town physician Doc Adams and tavern owner Miss Kitty Russell.

Let’s have our quick reader’s poll: Who’s side are you on for the job? Pitt or Reynolds?

The long anticipated sequel to the 80s hit ‘Ghostbusters’ is only due in 2011, but in an interview Bill Murray revealed that he’ll appear in it… as a ghost! The famous Ghostbuster, Dr. Peter Venkman, will have a small role in the sequel. "I told them that I'll come back in ‘Ghostbusters 3’ only if I get to be a ghost.” He said. “So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film."

And we guess that a little Murray is much better than no-Murray. Especially after his hilarious cameo role in ‘Zombieland.’ So we’re talking definitely good news for GB fans. What do you think?

This is the surprise of the weekend: after 7 consecutive weeks at the top of the box office chart, ‘Avatar’ was knocked off the top spot by the new romantic drama ‘Dear John.’ Very good news for co-stars Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried, whose on-screen romance grossed an impressive $32.4 million on Superbowl weekend. That’s statistically the most money a movie has ever made in the big game weekend! BTW-Sony claimed that 89 percent of the ticket buyers were female.

Are you surprised that this is the movie that out-sold ‘Avatar’? Shocked? Amazed? Talkback it!

Director James Cameron is heavily into the Oscars race. This weekend he received a Modern Master Filmaker Award for his work on ‘Avatar,’ during the 25th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival.

Leonard Maltin interviewed Cameron for two hours about the history and inspirations of Cameron's movies. Cameron said that when he was preparing for 'Avatar,' he spent months studying colonial interaction with natives. He cited the conquest of New Spain, the American West, and the conquest of South American cultures. He also said that his favorite scene from the movie is the flying scene.

After the Interview, a clip of highlights from ’ Terminator 2’ (directed by Cameron) was shown on a big screen and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger came and honored Cameron with the prize. Cameron mentioned once again that he believes the Governor will return to acting.

What’s your favorite scene in ‘Avatar?’ And would you like to see Schwarzenegger back in the movies?

Now, one of the amazing guys in the star line-up on this film, Ashton Kutcher, plays a florist who unexpectedly finds love. In real life, however Ashton doesn’t really like this day. In fact, he feels quite the opposite: "I think every day should be a day of romance," he says. "Then, on Valentine's Day, you should get to tell whoever you hate that you can’t stand them. There would be one day of hating, and 364 days of love." This philosophy of his has a psychological background, according to his recent interview with Parade magazine. When he was in the third grade there was a girl he really loved, and he sent her a note that said “Kiss Me.”

Not only wasn’t he kissed, but the girl completely ignored it (we bet she’s sorry now!) and Ashton was hurt.

Would you follow Ashton Kutsher’s suggestion and turn Valentine’s Day into Hate Day? How do you plan to celebrate it this year? Maybe go and watch the movie with the same title as the day?
