The Loft Salon Studio just got back from the biggest hair educational event in the country!!!

For those of you that know me, you know my passion for photography. Last July, I was hired by corporate Redken to go into Nyc to provide a corporate headshot photoshoot.

That in itself was awesome. What a great time.

Last weekend, in Las Vegas, there were 7,000 hairstylists in attendance and what a sight.

The photographic material, from July 2008 was used for and in Redken's commercially printed collateral that were handed out at Redken's Symposium!

........then they used it for the signage that stood 8 1/2 feet tall outside all of the classroom doors....

Not exciting enough??? How about when they were winding down the closing ceremonies it was featured on 3 huge screens in the concert area in front the crowd of 7,000.

Between the new studio, all of you and the new faces that have been sitting in my chair....wow...

I just got back from a 3 day Balmain Educator Hair Extension Training!!

Soon I will have an open house for the new salon/studio. I have to pick out a date, and get ready for it.

In the meantime, Balmain Hair Extensions will be a main stay service offered at the salon.

As some of you know, I have been certified with hair extensions for sometime. Balmain is different, and I am forever changed after going to their training.

Balmain Hair extensions are about more than just length.

In just a couple of weeks, we will have 3 racks full of cool extensions products.

They educate that they are for: color,volume and/or length. Meaning, it is not JUST FOR LENGTH.

It's done!! The new salon is open and rockin'. Phone's been ringing.

A whole new, different atmosphere.

The new salon construction is going well. The latest update on the new salon sinks, from ITALY are that they have arrived and are in CT. YEAH!!!!

Photo stuff-- The shoot that Redken hired me for went very well, and one of the group shots may be published in a trade magazine shortly.

This coming Wednesday I have to go back into NYC to shoot more of the Loreal USA/Redken employees.

Cannot wait for the new salon to be finished.....we are going to have so much fun and more room. I am seriously looking at getting a makeup line, etc

Just wanted to post to let you know what's going on in your stylist's world.....

As you all know, I just got back from Egypt. Had a great time.

The new salon is under construction!!!! The new sinks will be arriving from Italy by Aug 29th!

****Up coming event that I will be involved in is...................

Saturday July 26th, I will be providing a photo shoot to Redken- in NYC. I was contracted to be their photographer for this particular date. There are 40 very talented stylists & employees that need their headshots taken.

Wish me luck. I will have 3 hours to complete my mission!!!
