Jennifer Brown is originally from Sweden
but has spent a lot of time in the U.S. 
Jennifer Brown has used a varied musical palette
since releasing her first album "Giving You The Best".

She has gone from soul ballads and contemporary R&B 
to melodic radio pop.
Over the years, ahe has achieved considerable commercial success,
both domestically and international, as well as the respect from critics.

”At the beginning, you are usually a bit naive 
everything is big and fun", says Jennifer.

"A few years into your career, on the other hand, it’s easy to over-analyze
and start planning everything. This is the point where you run the risk
of becoming cynical".

Jennifer spent a lot of time in the U.S. – mainly New York City
and San Franscisco – as well as travelling to India.
When she returned to Sweden, she became pregnant.

Two months after her daughter’s birth, she had recorded demos
for a full album and was performing live at festivals and in the clubs.
However, she decided to stay home with her daughter for 18 months 
before returning to making music.
 
Jennifer Brown goes on to say: As a first-time parent,
a person comes in contact with reflections and feelings
that are completely new.
Jennifer found that even the sentimentality was more rooted
in reality. She was not the same person as before.
