But you didn't notice anyway, right? Right.

It's the third week of classes here at Berklee. Already. Craziness. Can I just say that I have learned SOOO MUUUUCH already that I'm blown away. It is so exciting to study MUSIC!!!
Okay, I'll calm down.
The only problem is that I get so tired studying and going to classes that when I have time to work on my own material sometimes I just am too sleepy. It'll happen though. And I have been working on stuff. Revising and things. So, it'll happen.
I got hired at PULSE today. An online Berklee thing. I don't know too much about it yet, but they're currently trying to decide if they're going to make me an administrative assistant or audio assistant. Either one sounds interesting to me! :) And it's only 15 hours a week so I'll still have plenty of time to study and practice.
I spent the past weekend north of Boston with John's family. It was a lot of fun and I got to go to New Hampshire for the first time! It was good to get away for a little bit and sleep on something comfy and eat good, good food.
Lobster Rolls.
:)

So, if you're reading this and not in Boston I probably miss you like crazy.
Just so you know.

I am missing LHS XC, Washington crisp air, the jacks, my family, friends and John sooo much. But the education I'm going to get here is amazing. I've already learned so much. Music overload I tell you. Music overload.

It's awesome. :)

Oh my!
I leave for Boston Sunday. Is it possible that it's finally come? I just don't even know what to think. I haven't started packing yet either.
So, soon I will start filling my brain with music all day, every day and I'm completely ready. I'm so excited to improve on everything!
Not a whole lot of new news... Just been working this week, fixing up my etsy site and I have switched mailing list "Providers". So, if you aren't on my mailing list... sign up!

Below are some websites I think you should visit. :)

I'm pooped. So, this is all I have to say for the week. Wish me luck in packing!

But I think I'll be gone all tomorrow, so I won't be able to post.

Earlier this week we were hit by ... or rather, mostly ignored by, Tropical Storm Fay... for us it only meant a really windy night and couple days and a lot of rain.
Nearby there were a couple tornados... which is weird for this area... and a lot of flooding, but no one was injured, so it's all good.

I've updated/adjusted my pricing on my etsy site for my jewelry... plus there's a couple new items and there will be more in the coming week.

I only have a week left here in Florida really. I work a couple days next week, but that's the end of that. I'll be working on getting more jewelry up before I'm too busy to, studying for placement tests, practicing and hanging out with John as much as possible. I'm extremely excited to go to Boston, but I think I'm equally sad to be leaving John. It'll be alright though...
Oh! I decided to join the XC team at Emerson College up in Boston as well...I just need to get all the forms in and I'm good to go. :) Couldn't stay away! Practices are only a couple days a week, early in the morning, and I would've been running anyway...might as well get good at it again!!

I would like to give you a little update on what I've been up to here in sunny/stormy Florida... I'll try to remember everything that's happened... it's been a busy week!

Last Friday was quite the interesting and fun day - it all started with the most epic grocery shopping trip of life (okay, well it started with waking up, but that's not interesting) ...
so, trying to get ready for Danielle to join us from Washington, we went to go pick up some groceries so I could make some chicken noodle cassarole (which turned out amazing, if I do say so myself) and so that we could sip on some wine. La-dee-dah, we're shopping, then we look outside and...it's pouring... then, huge claps of thunder and bolts of lighting.
Okay, so it's been like this the past few weeks and no big deal...except that it's right where we are. We check out only to wait in front of the doors with about a dozen other people, waiting for the buckets of rain to dwindle at least a little... we waited about ten minutes, then ventured outside and waited some more for John's mom to come get us.
We hurried to get the groceries all in the truck, got a bit soaked then drove through the lake... I mean parking lot, towards her work.
As we're sitting at the overpass for I95 at a stop light KABLAM! HUGE bolt of lightning not 20 feet away and the stop lights start flashing! No waiting for however many seconds to see how far that lightning was... WHEW! It was intense!

I was sooo mad I didn't have my camera!!! I tried with my phone, but uck... no use.
On the way back home from dropping off John's Mom the streets were flooded about a foot/foot and a half! I was afraid we were going to get stuck, but we were fine. The water wasn't nice to the trucks brakes though.
We got to the airport to pick up Danielle

and then everything was fine, no flooded streets, no thunder or lightning... weird.

One day Danielle and I made jewelry...
I made that! (The necklace, not the girl...sheesh ;) )

In the days following we went to the beach...a lot... :)

We've been playing a lot of table tennis, too, while watching the Olympics... John bought me the set for my birthday, :)

Then Danielle had to go home yesterday... which is stinky...
I'm sure there are other things to say here, but I've forgotten them if there were. I got some cool gifts, and lovely happy birthday wishes this week. :) Thanks!

Some more updates from a little while ago...
John's still cold even in Florida...

It's HOT outside!
:)

Today has been laundry, painting, music, learning on the internet...
I am expanding my reach on this crazy internet box thing. Cross promoting with my music and jewelry and learning all kinds of things, meeting all kinds of people. I feel like oober nerd lately, but it's just so interesting and fun!

I may be moving my blogs elsewhere...or just doing a different one. So many things in the mix, but we'll see. I don't want to dip my hands into too many things, but I want to get out there more as well.

So, as of now you can find me at ...

And I have a Facebook Page now too...you can just search my name I belieb...;)

So, yes - biiiiig nerdface.

In other news, lets see...
I work part-time (VERY part-time) at Anne Taylor LOFT in West Palm Beach. I'm actually enjoying myself for the most part. It's difficult not to just blow all my money on the clothes there. It helps that some of the stuff I would just never, ever wear though... Man...

I'm currently listening to John jam out in the living room. We're both all painty, hot and gross. Fun stuff, haha. He's been helping his mom plant stuff in her yard too...like palm trees and ferns and pretty green stuff.

I'm feeling quite good about my music, except that I haven't had a piano to play on for a month. I miss it quite a bit. I'm thinking I'll get some video of me playing some new tuneage so you all can hear it. Soon. Did I already say this before? I don't remember.

Hmm...what else? We've been to the beach a lot, but not nearly enough. Maybe when Danielle gets here to visit (FRIDAY!) we'll go more. Actually, I think we'll be heading to Sanibel Saturday. That's the plan anyway.

I'll get some photos up somewhere soon.
Off to continue painting the bookcase! Almost done!!!!

I also just uploaded 2 new songs for you to listen to. They are rough drafts and will turn out slightly different eventually than these recordings, but I thought you might enjoy. So, enjoy!

I've basically spent allll of my day here on my computer. I have an excuse though...I was having a TON of fun.
Yes, I'm a nerd. But I finally figured out a way that makes sense to price the jewelry that I've made. So, I was fixing everything on my page and updated and listing new items and stuff. I still have a ton more that I can do, but I feel a lot better about the site now and the direction it's going.
I think it will have an outdoorsy theme, which will be more obvious soon. How Northwesterner of me.

Check it out and PLEASE! Give me feedback!!!

I have really been enjoying myself in Florida. I've had so much time to relax and do whatever I want. A lot of things that I haven't been allowing myself to do, I'm finally doing. I've read a lot, made a bit of jewelry, played a lot of music (and really feel good about where that's headed, too... and this is BEFORE I even see Berklee!?!) and I've spent a lot of time with my John. (Not enough though).
Yesterday I started as John's mother's personal trainer. Getting my coaching gears up and running again, so to speak, at least until the end of the summer.

That's that in a mat.
