Lose Yourself To Find Yourself:

Inner space arises whenever you let go of the need to emphasize your form-identity. That need is of the ego. It is not a true need. Whenever you relinquish one of these behavior patterns, inner space emerges. You become more truly yourself.

To the ego it will seem as if you were losing yourself, but the opposite is the case. Jesus already taught that you need to lose yourself to find yourself. Whenever you let go of one of these patterns, you de-emphasize who you are on the level of form and who you are beyond form emerges more fully. You become less, so you can be more.

Here are some ways in which people unconsciously try to emphasize their form-identity. If you are alert enough, you may be able to detect some of these unconscious patterns within yourself: demanding recognition for something you did and getting angry or upset if you don't get it; trying to get attention by talking about your problems, the story of your illnesses, or making a scene; giving your opinion when nobody has asked for it and it makes no difference to the situation; being more concerned with how the other person sees you than with the other person, which is to say, using other people for egoic reflection or as ego enhancers; trying to make an impression on others through possessions, knowledge, good looks, status, physical strength, and so on; bringing about temporary ego inflation through angry reaction against something or someone; taking things personally, feeling offended; making yourself right and others wrong through futile mental or verbal complaining; wanting to be seen, or to appear important.

Once you have detected such a pattern within yourself, I suggest that you conduct an experiment. Find out what it feels like and what happens if you let go of that pattern. Just drop it and see what happens.

De-emphasizing who you are on the level of form is another way of generating consciousness. Discover the enormous power that flows through you into the world when you stop emphasizing your form identity.

Who you think you are is intimately connected with how you see yourself treated by others. Many people complain that others do not treat them well enough. "I don't get any respect, attention, recognition, acknowledgment," they say. "I'm being taken for granted." When people are kind, they suspect hidden motives. "Others want to manipulate me, take advantage of me. Nobody loves me."

Who they think they are is this: "I am a needy 'little me' whose needs are not being met." This basic misperception of who they are creates dysfunction in all their relationships. They believe they have nothing to give and that the world or other people are withholding to give and that the world or other people are withholding from them what they need. Their entire reality is based on an illusory sense of who they are. It sabotages situations, mars all relationships.

If the thought of lack - whether it be money, recognition, or love - has become part of who you think you are, you will always experience lack. Rather than acknowledge the good that is already in your life, all you see is lack. Acknowledging the good that is already in your life is the foundation for all abundance. The fact is: Whatever you think the world is withholding from you, you are withholding from the world. You are withholding it because deep down you think you are small and that you have nothing to give.

Try this for a couple of weeks and see how it changes your reality. Whatever you think people are withholding from you - praise, appreciation, assistance, loving care, and so on, give it to them. You don't have it? Just act as if you had it and it will come. Then, soon after you start giving, you will start receiving.

You cannot receive what you don't give. Outflow determines inflow. Whatever you think the world is withholding from you, you already have, but unless you allow it to flow out, you won't even know that you have it. This includes abundance. The law that outflow determines inflow is expressed by Jesus in this powerful image: "Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap."

The source of all abundance is not outside you. It is part of who you are. However, start by acknowledging and recognizing abundance without. See the fullness of life all around you. The warmth of the sun on your skin, the display of magnificent flowers outside a florist's shop, biting into a succulent fruit, or getting soaked in an abundance of water falling from the sky.

The fullness of life is there at every step. The acknowledgment of that abundance that is all around you awakens the dormant abundance within. Then let it flow out. When you smile at a stranger, there is already a minute outflow of energy. You become a giver. Ask yourself often: "When can I give here; how can I be of service to this person, this situation?" You don't need to own anything to feel abundant, although if you feel abundant consistently things will almost certainly come to you.

Abundance comes only to those who already have it. It sounds almost unfair, but of course it isn't. It is a universal law. Both abundance and scarcity are inner states that manifest as your reality. Jesus puts it like this: "For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

Thoughts, emotions, sense perceptions, and whatever you experience make up the content of your life. "My life" is what you derive your sense of self from, and "my life" is content, or so you believe.

You continuously overlook the most obvious fact: your innermost sense of I Am has nothing to do with what happens in your life, nothing to do with content. That sense of I Am is one with the Now. It always remains the same.

In childhood and old age, in health or sickness, in success or failure, the I Am - the space of Now - remains unchanged at its deepest level. It usually gets confused with content, and so you experience I Am or the Now only faintly and indirectly, through the content of your life.

In other words: your sense of Being becomes obscured by circumstances, your stream of thinking, and the many things of this world. The Now becomes obscured by time.

And so you forgot your rootedness in Being, your divine reality, and lose yourself in the world. Confusion, anger, depression, violence, and conflict arise when humans forget who they are.

Yet how easy it is to remember the truth and thus return home: I am not my thoughts, emotions, sense perceptions, and experiences. I am not the content of my life. I am Life. I am the space in which all things happen. I am consciousness. I am the Now. I Am.

The pioneering anthropologist Louis Leakey was once asked why his work to find the oldest evidence of human existence was so important. He replied, “Without an understanding of who we are, and from where we came, I do not think we can truly advance.” I believe there’s a lot of truth to what Leakey said—so much so that the bulk of my adult life has revolved around my search to know who we are, and how the knowledge of our past can help us become better people and create a better world.

With the exception of Antarctica, my research into the mystery of our past has taken me to every continent on the planet. From huge cities such as Cairo and Bangkok, to remote villages in Peru and Bolivia, from ancient monasteries in the Himalayas of Tibet, to Hindu temples in Nepal, during the time that I’ve experienced each culture, a single theme has emerged. The people of this world are ready for something more than the suffering and uncertainty that defined their lives for so much of the 20th century. They’re ready for peace, and the promise of a better tomorrow.

As different as our cultures and ways of life appear on the outside, beneath the surface we’re all searching for the same things—a land to call home, a way to provide for our families, and a better future for ourselves and our children. At the same time, there are two questions that people of all cultures ask me again and again. The first is simply: “What is happening to our world?” The second is: “What can we do to make things better?” The answers to both questions appear to be woven into a single understanding that links the traditions of prayer today with the most ancient and cherished spiritual traditions of our past.

Four hundred years ago in the high deserts of the American Southwest, the great wisdom keepers of the Navajo families were tested by the earth, nature, and the tribes that surrounded them. Through the extremes that drought, intense heat, and lack of food caused in their societies, the Navajo realized that they must harness the power of their inner pain to endure the harsh conditions of their outer world. Their very survival depended upon learning to do so.

Recognizing that life’s tests pushed them to the depths of their greatest suffering, they also discovered that the same tests revealed their greatest strengths. The key to their survival was to immerse themselves in life’s challenges without becoming lost in the experience. They had to find an “anchor” within themselves—a belief that gave them the inner strength to endure their tests—and the knowledge that a better day would follow. From this place of power they had the confidence to take risks, change their lives, and make sense of their world.



Our lives today may not be so very different from that of those brave individuals who roamed the high deserts of the American Southwest centuries before our country was created. Although the scenery has shifted and the circumstances have changed, we still find ourselves in situations that shake the foundations of our beliefs, test the limits of our sensibilities, and challenge us to rise above the things that hurt us. In a world that many describe as “coming apart at the seams,” we’re challenged to find a way to live each day with peace, joy, and a sense of order.

We find ourselves in a world of experiences that defy our sensibilities and push us to the limits of what we can accept as rational, loving people. In the presence of war and genocide beyond our borders, and hate based upon our differences within our own communities, how are we to feel emotions such as peace and healing? Clearly, we must find a way to break the cycle of hurt-suffering-anger-hate if we’re to transcend the conditions that we find ourselves in.

In the languages of their time, ancient traditions left us precise instructions for how to do just that! Through their words, we’re reminded that “life” is nothing more, and nothing less, that a mirror of what we’ve become within. The key to experiencing our lives as beauty, or as pain, rests solely within our ability to become these qualities in each moment of every day. A growing body of scientific evidence gives renewed credibility to such wisdom, and the powerful role that each of us plays in contributing to the healing, or the suffering, in our world.

Greetings! Greetings! Greetings! My Beautiful Beings of Light, we meet again. What a joy it is for this Messenger to come and visit with you. Thank you for the opportunity to be of Service. The Creator sends Unconditional Love and Joy to each of you. Close your eyes and allow this beautiful gift to touch every part of your Being. This wonderful gift of Unconditional Love and Joy are whirling around your entire Essence from head to toe in an energy vortex of the highest of vibrations. Feel the Unconditional Love and Joy enter into your Essence. Stay with the feelings as long as they are comfortable for you.

The Earth Planes Spiritual Energy continues to be ramped up more and more, My Divine Beings of Light. It is working through so many dark and verboten layers within Mass Consciousness, but there is light forming in the corners and light enlarging in the center, My Beloveds. Keep the faith and know that all is in Divine Order and within Divine Timing.

Your world is changing and part of your mission is to continue to visualize the Earth Plane in Peace and Harmony. My Beloveds to bring that towards yourself and towards your Earth. materializing that, requires that you daily devote time to go within yourselves and hold the thought of perfect Peace and Harmony for at least 6 minutes a day. If you don’t meditate, no problem you can still hold that thought in your mind for at least 6 minutes each day. Everyone can help and be of service in this way.

Realize My Beautiful Beings of Light, that not everyone’s picture of Peace and Harmony will match your own. While holding this mental imagined picture of Peace and Harmony also hold the outcome intent in this way: “For What Ever Is For The Highest Good and The Good of All Concerned”. Putting it into this context within your picture will then sharpen the awareness so that all the work towards Peace and Harmony will blend together in Divine Perfection.

This is part of each person’s mission plan My Beloveds. This state can be brought forth with each person’s participation.

My Beautiful Beings of Grace, many are talking about the 2012 dramas. Please only put your attention towards that which you desire to manifest. Those that are viewing movies regarding 2012, 2012 prophecies and the like are placing their attention on scenes and endings that are all subject to millions of potentials. Why create the dramas? Why bring these type of hype and predictions into creation? Is this what you want to occur?

2012 is a time for new beginnings not endings. 2012 is just another mile marker that you’ve left yourselves as a reminder that change is paramount to Mother Gaia and those that reside upon this great blue planet.

Bring forth the Peace that is so very desired. Bring forth the Love that all are seeking. Leave the war, violence, poverty, pain and hurt behind. The prayers that The Creator receives are not for negativity but for Peace, Love, Joy, Abundance, Health and Happiness. Draw forth the positive and leave the negative behind.

Allow this Messenger to take you on a meditation journey.

Arrange yourself in your chair or lie on a bed so that you are comfortable. Keep your legs and arms from crossing if at all possible as this blocks the flow of energy. Cover yourself with a light blanket if you chill easily. We want you comfortable and undisturbed for a while as you journey within yourself through meditation.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath, then let it out. With each in breath, you are breathing in love. With each out breath, you are breathing out fear and doubt. Take another deep breath in and let it out. Take another deep breath in and let it out with a sigh.

Feel your body relaxing from your toes to the top of your head. Give yourself permission to feel the calm and peace. Your muscles are feeling loose and limp, so relaxed, so deliciously serene, so wonderfully lazy.

Direct your ego self to perch on your left shoulder. Instruct your ego self that it is only to be an observer on this journey, it is not to participate. If it helps you to visualize by identifying your ego with a symbol or as an object please do so.

In your imagination ask through prayer for The Creator to send you down a protective Ray of White Light by praying mentally something like this “My Creator I AM asking for a protective Ray of White Light to enfold me and lift me up so that I am experiencing the very highest of vibrations during this journey into my inner most depths of understanding and Being. I am protecting myself My Creator from anything that is not for my highest good on this journey. I am thanking you My Creator for assisting me by sending this Ray. I see it in my imagination now coming down through the corner of the area where I am meditating. It is entering into my physical form, permeating all that is within my I AM presence.”

The Creator has responded to your prayer and has gifted you with an Iridescent White Ray plus a Deep Golden Ray along with a Pink Ray for this journey. The Rays are entering into your body through the soles of your feet and moving up through your physical vessel; permeating throughout all of your energy fields & physical vessel and into all corners of the actual area that you are meditating in; then the rays are exiting through your Crown Chakra. The Rays are returning to The Creator and cycling back down through you again and back to The Creator in a continuous circular loop. These protective therapeutic rays are in continuous circular motion while you are in meditation.

You are now divinely protected at this moment and nothing can even communicate with you, that is not for your highest good, without your permission.

My Divine Beings of Light. You are breathing very slowly and evenly now; you are feeling secure and safe. Breathe in deeply My Beautiful Beings of Light and feel the lighter relaxed feelings of being protected & divinely guided into this meditation. Breathe in deeply and know that you are breathing to the Pulse of The Creator. Listen to The Creator’s spiritual heart beat and feel the unconditional love that courses through you each time you think about this moment.

Breathe in deeply allowing and seeing within your spiritual imagination your Guardian Angels and invited Spirit Guides as they join you. The Angels take your etheric essence’s hand and guide you out of your physical body and direct you into your Etheric Spiritual Heart Chakra. An Angel has been stationed to stay with your physical essence until you return from your meditation.

You are seeing, feeling and sensing this within your imagination, Your Guardian Angels, Spirit Guides and special invited guests are now within your Spiritual Heart Chakra with you. Your Angels and Guides are helping you locate the door and turn the door knob of the Golden Door that says “To My Highest Guidance Within” you cross over the threshold knowing that you are on a spiritual growth adventure.

You find yourself in a white marble corridor. Your Angels guide you down the hall and to the hall on your left. You walk and all of a sudden you see the label on the door flash, green. You stop and have a look at the door label and it reads: The Earth Plane Grid. This door feels right and you turn the door knob and cross over the threshold.

In the center of the room is a miniature replica of the Planet Earth. It is glowing and spinning as it does naturally on its axis. You see a chair next to the Earth replica and walk over and have a seat. The minute you sit in the chair the most amazing thing happens. You are then joined by millions and millions of like minded individuals each holding the others hands. Their presence is forming a human like grid around the entire globe.

Your Angels remind you that your Essence is nothing but energy thus this creation is an energy grid. You are so excited to connect with all the others that are holding hands. You take a left hand that has been extended to you and as you do, you feel a strong surge of loving energy pulse through your body. You take a right hand that has been extended to you and again that strong surge of loving energy passes through you and is held in the energy grid created by all the others holding hands.

Wow! you tell yourself this is fantastic. Each of these millions of individual Essences are holding the thought of Peace and Harmony. Each has tempered their vision with “For What Ever Is For The Highest Good and The Good of All Concerned and in Divine Order.” Oh my you tell yourself, this is the strongest step you have ever taken in your mission plan and it feels glorious to be a part of something that is so much greater than the individual Essence.

As you hold the grid and the thoughts of Peace and Harmony the vision becomes clearer and clearer. The picture sharpens with each second that you hold the thoughts. This certainly is helping you clear up the fog about what Peace and Harmony really are. Your vibrations are also rising.

Everyone is smiling and feeling the awesome energies as all are effecting the energy grid of the entire Planet Earth in a positive way. The Angels, Archangels, Spirit Guides and Spiritual Families of all are looking down from above onto the vast electrifying energy grid as they sing praises for those involved and the work that is being done.

This is so special you tell yourself. You realize that your Vibrational level will be forever raised from this experience. Your Angels tell you that it is time for you to return. They do ask that you return daily to add your vision of Peace and Harmony into the energy grid.

You shake your head that you do indeed intend to return daily to assist the efforts of all. You release your right hand and then your left hand. The energy stops running through you as you disengage. You really hate to leave but know that you have other work to do as well as this mission. You follow your Angels back through the doorway and back into the hall. You instantly find yourself back in the White Marble Corridor.

You catch a glimpse of your glowing Essence in the mirror before your Angels lead you back across the golden threshold door into your Spiritual Heart Chakra and then they assist your spiritual Essence back into your physical form.

Wiggle your fingers and toes and when ready open your eyes. Go about your day remembering that your inner Wisdom and Angelic support staff are always at your service working with you to help you reach your highest most appropriate potential.

Beloveds you are blessed beyond words and loved beyond measure more than any Earth Plane language can ever express. I Am Archangel Michael, The Creator’s Messenger, of Love, Joy, Wisdom, Light, Peace and Grace.

A dry spell is a period of time when progress comes to a grinding halt. If you're trying to lose weight, for example, it may be that, despite your best efforts, the scale just won't budge. Or, if you're trying to find a new job, the phone might stop ringing and it may suddenly feel as though no one is hiring in your field. During this period, you're likely to feel frustrated and discouraged. And, as a result, it's common to do one of two things -- try harder (to no avail), or give up. This is also the time when self-doubt rears its ugly head.

During a dry spell, you'll probably begin to question yourself and your goals. For example, if you're involved in a job search, you might start second-guessing your credentials, doubting your skills, or questioning your direction altogether. Or, if you're trying to lose weight, you may lose your motivation and go back to the erroneous belief that your stalled progress is related to a lack of discipline. The biggest challenge during a dry spell is to be patient -- to sit back, take a deep breath, and know that despite what appears to be "the end of the road," over the horizon is a path that will lead where you most need to go.

Whenever we decide to make a major change in our lives, it's important to know that along with taking new actions, we also may need to let go of some things in order to welcome in new experiences. Joseph Campbell said it well:

"We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come."

While it's certainly true that a period of stagnancy or inertia sometimes means that we just need to have faith that we're on the right track, other times, it may mean something more. It may be that you need to loosen your grip and let go of something -- an old habit, an outdated belief, or a strategy that doesn't serve you anymore. Sometimes this letting go is more tangible like ending an unsupportive relationship to set the stage for becoming the "new you." And other times it might be that you need to let go of an unrealistic expectation. I remember one friend who realized this when she reached a weight loss plateau and had to give up the fantasy that her body would ever look like something out of a fashion magazine. Only then could she continue without sabotaging her success.

The moral of this story is: don't lose hope! A dry spell may be exactly what you need to re-evaluate your progress so you can redirect the course of your life. To help you use a dry spell as a catalyst for success, answer the following question:

What do I need to let go of in order to welcome in the new life I desire?

Then, pay attention to what immediately comes to mind. Listen with your heart (not your head) and write down the answers regardless of how strange or unexpected they may be. Once you do, sit with this information for a while before taking action. Then, proceed with a patient heart. When you understand that dry spells are merely speed bumps on the road to a great life, you'll begin to see them as gifts -- a reminder to slow down so you can get your bearings, reevaluate your plans, and slowly shed the old you to make way for the new!

* We Are the Ones *

Many of us have been experiencing highs and lows of energy and moods. Sometimes it feels like we are in a whirlwind – as if a tornado is spinning around us and then at other times we are on an oasis — like being in the eye of a storm. So many people are undergoing big shifts and changes as relationships fall apart and income streams disappear. Stress and fear levels can be running very high. We are going through a death and rebirth process.

As part of this process, we are learning to take responsibility for ourselves and to let go of feeling responsible for others. No one is responsible for another’s experience. Blaming others is the flipside of thinking someone needs our help. The best we can do for someone who is in any kind of pain is to hold a sacred space for them to find their way – and offer prayers to those who are struggling. We all have our own individual journeys and we touch into one another’s experience as we co-create our world. In the whirlwind, our stories and emotions are activated, challenging us to forgive, release, and grow.

When on the oasis, it is a good time to radiate the peace we feel out into the world – like a shining nectar of soothing energy to add to the energy of peace that is floating through the Earth’s aura, available to anyone who may need it. I find myself filling up with the energy of love whenever I think of it, no matter what I’m experiencing. Love is healing, love is expansive and love feels so good. This is the high vibration that matches the innocent energy of love that is radiating throughout the Universe, coming directly from Creator Source. We are becoming love… so we can be love.

Many of One - We see gentle waves of energy flowing, constantly flowing throughout the galaxy, throughout the solar system, flowing to the earth and flowing through humanity and all life forms. These waves of energy carry gifts. You are being offered choices. Pay attention to what appears in your own world of consciousness. Look at every offer, every opportunity. What is new? What will stretch you to experience? Be mindful of new people coming into your life. Many offer opportunities as catalysts of change and growth. New doors opening, new pathways to explore. As your vibration increases, you will see much change in your lives. Some of it may cause stress, but know that within these changes is the Phoenix rising from the flame to create a new life of love and joy. New structures are forming to match the high vibration you are embodying.

The old ways are dying. If you find yourself in a fear storm, breathe deeply, it will bring calmness to you. Change can be frightening, but also energizing. Here is your opportunity to create a new life from your deepest truth. What do you love to do? What brings you vitality? Move towards what energizes you. You may not know where it will take you, but trust that doors will open if you are following your heart, your truth.

Every element that does not ring true to your soul, will not be able to be sustained. There can be no more “faking it.” Inauthentic choices will backfire. These experiences are your great teachers. All inauthentic choices contain possibilities for self knowledge.

All are connected. Each and every one of you are connected to each other through the energetic light of Spirit. For you all come from the same source, come down to earth to experience the sensual physical manifestation of spirit filling the physical body with consciousness. Ahh we came down to earth—each a spark of the Divine—each a star shining forth through the physical body, the light shining from our eyes out into the world. Indeed we are coming alive, we are just coming into true aliveness as awareness grows and expands throughout our being… we are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Words you may have heard many times, take on deeper meaning, the energy of the words goes to a deeper level… “We are the ones…”

As you allow your higher self, your Soul self to come into your being, you receive energetic shifts and alignments, as has been spoken of before. You may be feeling dizzy at times, this will pass. You may have been experiencing the inner earthquakes as you are stretched and expanded. Flashes of extreme heartburn, swollen or painful feet. All are signs of your expansion. Your physical body is releasing dense energies as your vibration rises. You will find the discomfort will fade away and suddenly you will notice that you haven’t thought about that shoulder pain (or whatever) for awhile because it is no longer there.
As Above, So Below

As you advance on the trail of your journey, it is as if you are walking parallel pathways; all advancing together towards the circle of light at the center, it is like coming out of the jungle into the fire circle. This is a place in the etheric realm and this is a place within your hearts. It will feel familiar; you may see it in your dreams. The light of this fire circle is shining out into the jungle, through the trees, guiding you forward. You may see your brothers and sisters as you peer through the trees. Each has a unique path of light to follow. You are connected heart, mind and soul.

This is why many feel the importance of community – of sharing your experiences together, which is helpful for your individual journeys. It can get very dark and tangled at times and you may find yourselves struggling with inner demons, which are thought forms, memories, energies from long ago, perhaps other lifetimes. You may trip over roots, get tangled in thorns, feel so very alone.

All of your guides are with you to help light your way. They truly are there with you, along with Angelic presences from the realms of love and light. When you call for their help, they come to you but sometimes your minds chatter about what is “wrong” and you are not able to hear the guidance. Breathe very deeply – practice conscious breathing – you will be amazed at how deep, slow breathing will calm your mind. Bring your attention into your heart. Allow your heart to guide you.

All judgment disappears, is sloughed off as you make your journey towards the center of the circle. This is the purpose of the clearing process you have been going through. It is to move you into a place of total self love and acceptance. The center of the circle is the heart of unconditional love. You are raising your vibration so that you can resonate with this center. At the center of the circle, in the Light is where you will blend in Spirit. It will be as if your physical bodies disappear and for a moment you blend together in the ocean of One. This is the ultimate in intimacy (into me see). We wanted to give you a picture to hold in your hearts. This is coming home.

In the center of the circle, all blend together as One. Each of you maintains your unique energetic signature as you merge with one another. You will come through this transformation to the other side and that is when the fun truly begins, for you will see yourselves in other people’s eyes – no longer will you feel the separation that has been part of the human experience for thousands of years. Courage, faith and trust will bolster you during this transformational time as you undergo your own personal death and rebirth.

You are beautiful souls, we wish for you to love yourselves as we do, to see yourselves as we see you. You are not alone and your energy and intention touches the whole as you all advance together in holographic unity. You will begin to witness more and more your interconnections with each other. Celebrate the moments of synchronicity that bring you into alignment with one another.

All are being called now. All are being asked to arise up to receive your spiritual heritage. Much beauty and joy await you. Begin to feel it now. Allow the winds of change to blow away your cares and worries and find that place of innocence and wonder within as you look at the world with new eyes, as you see with the eyes of a child.

Living in a world of duality has made it challenging and difficult to understand why we have experienced and witnessed such an array of human behavior throughout our history. With constant introspection and the continued judgements of right and wrong, good and bad, just and unjust it has been a constant challenge to find a balanced viewpoint and to truly understand the gift that duality actually presents to us. This subject is super sensitive, yet if we are to continue on our path of ascension it is a crucial concept in need of our assimilation.

Let us use an example of duality that represents many definitions, including the very nature of our own composite structure, not to mention the entire universe. Symbolically, the notion of the “light” and “dark” conveniently expresses the broad spectrum of contrasts we all inevitably have to deal with in every aspect of life. Under the guise of the light resides all the so-called higher attributes of peace, love and hope, to kindness, joy and integrity. Every human being possesses the ability to express any or all of these qualities whenever we choose.

Obviously, in contrast to the light is the dark side representing conflict, fear, despair, judgment, anger and deceit, etc. This is where the ugly side of our reality is founded. And just as we possess the ability to express the light, the dark side is constantly lurking in the background ready to pounce when we least expect it. The source of the pain of our dark side is usually buried deep within our unconscious mind. As it quietly and patiently waits for an opportunity to make itself known, life will always find a way to give it a voice, often in very subtle ways, but in many instances in the most blatant and painful ways imaginable.

The dilemma we are faced with is this: how do we reconcile the duality of the light and dark that is at the core of this reality so we can actually transcend our consciousness beyond the limitations that confront us daily through these two contrasts? A big question for sure, but one to which an answer is essential for us to be able to fully bring in the new world.



Each of us is confronted with our own fears amidst our efforts to live our best possible life. A best life scenario could be one of fulfillment, sense of purpose, excitement, joy, abundance and well being, peace and of course - love. We are all aching to fully experience ourselves in this light and while we are moving towards this reality, the dark side of our nature continues to question our worthiness and does what it can to convince us otherwise. Our fear-based human egos have had its way with us for so long now, the very notion of it losing control goes against what the ego represents and it refuses to lie down and die without a fight.

Just using the word “fight” conjures up a feeling that appears to question the nature and value of why we choose to oppose any given situation. To be in conflict with another immediately indicates that we are in judgement of them and have the need to somehow convince them that they are wrong. In that moment our ego has us just where it wants us. This all too familiar example of fear and conflict that subtly rises from the depths stems from the need to be in control.

The question arising from this is how can we best serve the collective consciousness so we can overcome the struggle of duality and transcend into a new world of total unity and peace? As mentioned earlier this is a sensitive subject and one that does not encompass a winner or loser, a victim or perpetrator, but rather embracing the ideal that there is no right or wrong, good and bad or even any victims. To transcend duality we need to know that everything just “is” and every human being is where they need to be and is experiencing what is necessary for their highest good. Our job is to find the lesson within the experience which then becomes a gift to ourselves.

While the highest good for all concerned is a mantra many of us use in our prayers and meditations, that does not mean what we see and experience is always pretty. In fact the purpose of duality is for us to experience both the light and the dark and then to emerge from the illusion knowing everything is as it should be and always for our highest good. For those still caught in the illusion, this concept is usually not received well, but until we choose to expand our awareness and truly embrace the journey completely, we remain trapped in judgment and blame.



There is nothing in the universe that is separate from the creator. In other words, even the dark side is not separate from the light, for it is only a perception and only has power when we give it sustenance to make it real. As soon as we bring light to any darkness it dissolves like a lantern in a cave. The darkness is still there, it hasn’t gone anywhere, for as soon as the lantern is extinguished it appears just as easily as it dissolved. If one happened to be lost in a cave, the situation does not change by lighting the lantern, however, it allows one to see the situation with a clearer vision to find the way out. In this scenario we are neither the light nor the dark, but the observer who has transcended the duality of the experience.

The intricacies of our experience of this third dimension reality are far too complex to comprehend why it is that some people find themselves in dire and tragic situations. If we take into account soul agreements, soul contracts, balancing karma and our desire to find love, happiness and freedom, then we know there is something unfolding beyond our reach of understanding at this level of the evolutionary ladder.

God does not judge anything, as the Creator allows the gift of free will for humanity to wake up to who we really are through the experience of duality. When we as a collective can also live from this place and look down on the duality in our own lives and shine our light on the dark side, it is in that moment we have transcended into a higher level of consciousness. This act of unconditional love ultimately frees the world from this perceived illusion, but it has to start with our own lives. It is the love of self which is the love of your life. Our ability to ignite the lantern to disperse the darkness with the knowledge that everything is in order no matter where we find ourselves is the path to freedom. It’s up to us to find our way.

Collective consciousness is the greatest power we have as human beings. Each is connected to the other, making up the ocean of humanity. As the waves rise and return to the ocean, we realize that we have never been separate from each other. Rather, the duality of the land and the sea, the expanse of the sky and depths of the ocean are but a different experience of the one creation. When we see through the eyes of the creator a knowing arises that nothing is neither good nor bad, but just is.

If we do our best to rise above duality and lovingly embrace the darkness it will lose its stronghold us. Ultimately, we have the power through cause and effect in the light of the collective consciousness to strengthen the foundation of the new world now being created in the minds of humanity.

The Inner Sanctuary:

As time marches on and chaos continues to unfold in the varying systems of your world, we call upon you to look within. Know that your security lies not outside of you, but within the sanctuary of the heart. Within the center of your being lies a sacred space which is outside the realm of your third dimensional physical reality. The peace and security that you seek can be found within this space. Take time to visit this internal dwelling through the imaginings of your mind and know that it is indeed real. This is your inner safe house, your place of calm amidst every storm.

It is of the utmost importance now to enter this space and merge more fully with your higher self. Learn to commune and communicate with this aspect of your being that sees and knows what you at present may not. Seek clarity through this relationship, for it is through the eyes of your expanded self that you can see more clearly what lies before you. Learn to speak the language of your expansive spirit and know that these modes of communication are unique to you. Perhaps spirit speaks to you through songs or melodies. Perhaps signs and symbols draw your attention. Know that such signs may appear in your outer world or on the screen of your inner vision.

You may receive physical sensations that through time have become familiar, nudging you to pay attention, to become more conscious and aware in the moment. Perhaps you hear an internal voice or whisperings on the wind. Perhaps you receive messages from the elemental world; the nature spirits who are more attuned to Mother Earth and the happenings upon her. We urge you to ask for guidance and clarity, then be still and listen. Take time to go within and allow your body, sacred heart and spirit to speak to you.

These are challenging times for planet Earth. Many of her people are in despair. Many of her people live in fear and uncertainly. But you are not to be among them, for your very purpose in these times is to stand as a beacon of strength and clarity. You are asked to call upon the strength from within that comes from knowing who you are and whose you are as you forge the trails ahead. All of your life experiences in this world and the next have brought you to this now moment. We ask you to stand in your truth as never before. Do not cave in to the fears of a world gone mad. Cultivate the safety that lies within. Become the way shower you were meant to be.

Remember that you create the reality in which you live through the vibrations that you send forth in each moment. We ask you, "What are you sending forth into the ethers?" Know that it will be returned to you. We ask you to send love; to emit the frequencies of compassion and understanding as duality plays out its final game. We ask you not to be moved to outrage of thoughts of revenge as the manipulations on the planet and her peoples are brought to light. For all aspects of light and dark have purpose and meaning. That is the way of it. But this game has come to an end. Fear for one's survival and the giving away of personal power is at an end.

It is time to take back your power. For you are magnificent beings of light; wise and powerful beyond measure. You have forgotten who you are. But it is time to remember. In the remembering you will gaze upon yourself and others in awe and you will wonder how this could have remained hidden from you for so long. But that is the way of it as well.

Before your birth into physicality you agreed to lose sight of your true self and your connection to Source. You were aware that you could not come in and bust a system of which you were not a part. So you were born into limitation with very little remembrance of your divine origins. Once you were fully constrained within the human design and had taken on the brainwashing of the cultural authorities, your task was to awaken from the illusion and remember your Self, and divine purpose. You struggled to open your weary eyes and stretch your wings from underneath the weight of your dense and all but paralyzed bodies. But you are doing that now, and doing so with grace and beauty as we knew you would. As you awaken from this dream others will take notice and see that it is indeed possible. As you break through the chains of fear and limitation others will follow in your stead.

It is time to bring heaven and earth together once again. You are the living bridges that allow this to occur. Return to the Inner Sanctuary for guidance and support. Feel the embrace of love that awaits you there. Feel the assuredness that all is well. Know that you carry within you all that you will ever need as you move through these transformationa..l times. Open to the wisdom and clarity of your higher self. Return to your sacred center in those moments when the external world would draw you into dramas of fear. Your task is to stay clear, to stand strong and hold to the foundations of love which rise now from beneath the chaos.

We stand in truth with you. We are proud of you. Your task in this time calls for you to gather your courage and strength and stand as a beacon of light so that others may know the truth as well. We love and honor you our friends and companions in the light. Ask,be still and know!

The Sacred Chamber of Love:

Let us go now to a sacred place, a place deep and quiet. Go now within the depths of your heart, to that place where peace reigns, where you are completely alone and completely yourself, that place deep and quiet, so quiet that it almost echoes with its own silence.

Go there now and feel the sweet wonder of your heart of love, the place within you where love flows, where there is nothing but love, that chamber of your heart that is untouched by anything other than love, the place that survives no matter what happens, that stays ever within love. Let us go there now, to this sacred chamber of the heart.

And here, within this space, relax and feel how peaceful and safe it is. You are held here within your own love, a space that you created for yourself and that is always here. All it requires is that you take a deep breath, close your eyes, and let silence lead you.

And now, deeply within this space and place of love, become aware that you are not alone at all. Become aware that this sacred chamber of love is full of spirit. Yes they are here at all times, these angels, filling your heart with love and light. They live in this sacred space and glow for you always here, no matter what is happening outside, no matter what your mind is saying, no matter if you are peaceful or troubled. They are still here, shining for you, and sharing their love with you.

And now, from this place, expand outward. Take this quiet place of love, this deep connection with the angels, and expand it outward from this tiny chamber of your heart until it fills your entire heart, your chest, your torso, your entire body and now expands out for several feet around you, so that you are a zone of love, an expanded state of love and grace, glowing for all to see and feel.

Let your own glow of love and connection touch all those whose lives touch yours. Let your heart of love overflow into everything you say and do. Let the peace of your wondrous being of love fully enter into your mind, so that you embrace being this person of sweet flowing love, of glowing light, of wonder and beauty.

This is who you are. And even if you forget it for a time, this presence of your true being is here deep within your heart, in the sacred chamber of love.

My mother-in-law sat on the beach in Aruba and reached for her cold beverage nestled in the sand by her chair. She miscalculated her grasp and instead, her hand dove into the sand and she pulled out a glorious 14K solid gold rope necklace. Teams of salvage hunters spend millions of dollars, countless years and untold hours searching for lost treasure, more often finding it elusive.

How is it then, some people find treasure when not seeking it, and others hunt and never find anything even when using elaborate calculations? The dichotomy of old sayings, "It'll show up when you least expect it," versus "Persistence pays," provides Spirit an opportunity to intrigue us in our journey and increase the value of things we desire but cannot yet manifest.

Hidden vs. Missing - When something is missing, it means it once existed in our life and its no longer there. When something is hidden, that means its still there, but we can no longer see it. In life, how do we distinguish between the two qualities of perceived lack? In both instances, we experience a void - we can't touch or feel what we want. From misplaced car keys to hidden clues, we struggle with filling the void with what we already know - that which once existed - instead of moving towards something better.

The qualities of things hidden range from stifled emotions to disguised authenticity and integrity, to secrets about ourselves we don't want the world to see. Missing things usually represent what we need to learn. If life repeats the lesson over and over for us, then we clearly missed the point of the lesson. Missing means a gap, a space, an emptiness for something which once served as a part of us, or for something we need to learn to complete the circle.

Hidden Meanings - Buried deep between the lines of written or spoken words, we get a glimpse of interpretation that our life experiences brought to our present moments. We attach many translations to subtle nuances that stem from our belief about who we are and what we need to discover. Forgetting to surrender to the Infinite and let go of judgment, we ascribe a meaning often all-too familiar with our repeated patterns instead of allowing new ideas and opportunities for growth to emerge.

The true meaning of any dusky perceptions lies not within our immediate accumulation of experience to shine the light on the unknown. Instead, our piercing beam of insight and willingness to progress forward emerges as authentic understanding in all of life's foggy depths of confusion. No mystical forces at work, simply accepting situations and circumstances at face value, without prejudice brings about the highest interpretations possible.

Hidden Blessings - The saying, "Be careful what you ask for, for you shall surely get it," cautions loudly in our minds when we dare to ask for something others deem as greedy or ill-guided. While Spirit focuses equally on our declarations of what we do and do not want in our lives, it also understands that a lesson presents more profound if the prayer goes unanswered.

Many times we look back at our requests of God and wonder why they never materialized. Later, after life unfolds, we realize if our exact petitions appeared, things would turn out much differently than we intended and we rationalize that the unanswered prayer represented a hidden blessing. In situations which on the surface appear negative, we find precious rewards in the little blessings carefully protecting us from what we believed we wanted.

What are you hiding? Inside each of us, burn the embers of understanding and coals of smoldering wisdom. With humility, many of us deny the truth about these gifts from life and bury our talents beneath our smoky exterior. We mistakenly think that if we disguise our true selves, we hide our strengths and weaknesses from the world thereby protecting ourselves from the harm of exposure. Additionally, we grow to expect the worst from the revelation of who we are, instead of allowing the possibility that more good enter our lives if we simply take the risk.

Spirit invites us to reveal the treasure of our authentic selves and uncover greatness! Day by day, we are shown scenarios that portray greater abundance and prosperity if we only took the risk of digging up and displaying the hidden treasures of our glorious self to the world. When we clutch tightly to a gold coin, it never transforms. It's stuck as a gold coin. If we open our hand and use it to bring more good into our lives, then all are enhanced by the transaction.

Today, take a moment to consider the elements hidden or missing in your life. Fill in the gaps with whatever you need to feel complete with Life and search for those parts of yourself that you scurried away out of your present awareness. When you look for hidden meanings, be prepared for answered and unanswered prayers to equally educate you in that lesson and others. Frequently lessons overlap and the jewels we glean from one learning experience blend perfectly with others. Remember the most precious treasure of all already lives within you. If you willingly identify and acknowledge your self-worth, the treasure chest of life awaits you!

You are much, much stronger than you think you are. You are strong enough, not only to survive what life has brought you, but to thrive within it.

What you seek is harmony, harmony between what actually is, the new day as she is unfolding, and your actions and desires. Today, this moment, holds the power. You hold within you the strength, the presence of mind, the talent and creativity, the heart. You bring all of this to the unfolding moment that is.

Create a moment so harmonious that it hums with joy. Create a moment in which you are catching the flow that is, riding it as it tumbles down the mountain and reaches the sea, then riding the waves to a distant shore.

Yearning and regret, fear and anxiety, holding on to what no longer serves, all of these create disharmony. Set them down on the rocks as you climb into the swiftly moving waters of what truly is. Allow yourself to be carried and know that you will be strong enough, know that you will be guided and helped. Just harmonize your vibration to the hum of the universe that you can hear as it moves, as it spins, as it creates, as if flows.

Even this old, old river, ancient as it is, runs with new waters every second of every day. Dip in a hand and feel the vibration that runs through. Be sensitive to the current, the temperature, to how it is right now. Then fill yourself with faith, a deep belief in your own strength, and let go into the flow. Ah, what a glorious ride life is!

SURFING ON THE SEA OF CONTRAST 



 An Answer to the Secret:

It is difficult when we find ourselves dealing with a situation that we would never want consciously to create. These days, when many believe that we create our total reality, we may feel guilty if our life seems to contain aspects in it which are untoward. Whether we have stubbed our toe or are facing a terminal cancer diagnosis, we may wonder why these unpleasant elements have manifested in our lives. Did we create this? Are we vibrationally unfit?

With the popularity of the movie “The Secret”, which is about the Law of Attraction (L.o.A.), we may be tempted to blame ourselves or others when certain things have manifested in one’s life. While the Law of Attraction does have its place in the scheme of our life, it is just one of many life laws. We may unconsciously use blame as a way to distance ourselves from others who are suffering. Some may even think or actually say to sufferers, “Well, you manifested that”.

Ester and Jerry Hicks (Abraham) who popularized the Law of Attraction concept would never wish that the Law of Attraction concept be utilized to rationalize callousness or unkindness. While we want to be aware of the power we have in attracting into our lives the elements that we wish for, ultimately attracting what we want and becoming more actualized beings through contrast is also a powerful force. Most of us will relate to the seemingly paradoxical force of creating and becoming through contrast.

Some metaphysicians believe that we may have asked before our birth that we be in challenging contrasting roles so that we may have opportunities to work through karma and/or to “get off the karmic wheel” altogether through the force of challenge. This idea is similar to that of a body builder who pushes her muscles against the contrasting force of weight encouraging her muscles to grow bigger and stronger. Most of us know that when we work through difficulties, we have the opportunity to become more compassionate, stronger, smarter and more actualized beings.

Most of us would never consciously say, “Let me choose this particular difficult situation to work through.” If we could learn more through joy, wouldn’t that be great? But, let’s face it, most of us learn the most through challenge. When we deal with difficulties, we often become better people than we ever thought we would or could. We also model for others how they might survive, creating a coping model for all those who watch us and come after us. We need not feel guilty about suffering. We will all know suffering.

We can choose to become bitter and angry when we suffer (which is also okay as long as we don’t get stuck in it) or we can choose to become soft-hearted, loving, compassionate and smarter. Yes, smarter! My friends and I often call our challenges “reference points.” We can have a good laugh about our challenges and say when something unpleasant happens (albeit tongue in cheek), “Yea! More reference points!”

Many of the most powerful, influential change agents throughout history had difficult or challenging lives. Having the contrast to what they would have wished for or would have liked to have created given the conscious opportunity, seemed to make them the leaders and role models they became. Would Harriet Tubman, a severely beaten slave, been motivated to free others, had she been a spoiled child? Maybe. But, my intuition tells me this is doubtful. However, the means do not justify the end. Child abuse, for example, isn’t justifiable because someone like Oprah, takes that experience and uses it for contrast to become more than she might have. But people who overcome their contrasts do seem to become especially incredible stellar human beings. Again, purposefully visiting pain on others is NEVER justifiable.

I’ve recently noticed that most of the people in my personal life that I am closest to have had a child that died. At first I thought this was an interesting coincidence. Now, I realize that I am drawn to these people because they have overcome one of the greatest pains possible, and have become deeper, kinder, more sensitive and often deeply spiritual people. (I love you guys~you know who you are~thank you for being my friends and heroes!).

Many people will never overcome the contrasts to joy in their life. This is why we don’t want to invite contrast into our lives or anyone else’s life. However, I would invite anyone who has had contrasts to joy and happiness in their life to consciously catapult themselves into more enlightened and loving human beings. It is as if the circumstances of life are the rubber band pulled backwards as far as possible and you are the stone also pulled backwards for a period of time. However, when the rubber band is released you are catapulted to heights that you would not have been able to go had you not been forced backwards in contrast for that period of time.

I would offer to try not to feel guilty about your contrasts because of the tenor of our times. Remember to be gentle with yourself. If a child has a wound, wouldn’t your first response be to take care of it and love it? How might you use your contrasts to make the world a better place? My goal in life is to assuage the suffering of all sentient beings (I’m shooting big!). How might you use your suffering for the positive? Like a surfer riding waves who uses the contrasts in the tides to move forward, how might you put the force of contrasts to use in your life?

There seems to be a strong movement in popular culture in recent years about how to "tap" into Universal Abundance...lots of books, videos and lectures abound on the subject. And yet, it doesn't appear many folks are achieving success in mastering the Law of Attraction. In many cases, it appears that our economy is actually degrading and that more and more Americans are feeling the pinch!

In many ways, it looks like the souls seeking a higher calling in life are suffering the most. Why is it that so many Lightworkers are struggling to earn a living? How come they are not able to translate soul purpose into bucks in the bank? Believe me, it's becoming a serious issue! How many stories have you heard of talented, insightful, and gifted beings losing their homes, jobs, friends, loved ones, and financial stability?

We cannot ignore the fact that this appears to be a symptom of Ascension. Not only do we journey through the "dark night of the soul" as we gradually overcome the controlling ego, but we experience the collapse of life as we knew it. Our "old" life comes crashing down! Step by step our Soul guides us out of a "human life program" that no longer serves us, so that we can bridge into a life reality that supports our soul purpose and path. We must shed the false ego-identity and embrace the true Soul Lineage we originated from. Not only do we lose the comfort of familiarity and material trappings of success, but we land in some strange holding pattern called the VOID while we are rooting in the new Soul reality.

The time spent in the VOID is perhaps even more unsettling than the collapse. We struggle to connect to anything...floating in the ethers, living in isolation, feeling quite alone and abandoned, not seeing any change in the outer earthly life. It is quiet, still and empty of meaning or fulfillment. It is the gestation phase of birthing the Soul, and it can last from a few months to several years! The key we need to remember in our heart of hearts is that we are loved and supported by the Universe, no matter how desolate it appears in the earthly life.

As we gradually pull ourselves into the new reality of union with our Soul and the Universe, we begin to awaken and recognize our inherent sovereign rights as children of god/dess. We accept the responsibility of conscious living and plug back into the Divine Matrix of Universal Wealth and Abundance. We choose connection instead of isolation, open heart instead of distrust, compassion instead of control, and empowerment instead of fear. Our outer reality begins to morph into a magical hologram responding to our thoughts, feelings and intentions. We step into collaboration with Source as the co-creator of our multi-dimensional existence.

And here's the kicker... we can no longer function in the 3-d financial system. Many statistics show that a very small percentage of the population owns the majority of the global wealth. We can no longer plug into a money system that is so out of balance and corrupt to earn our living. We have evolved out of it! And so the key to success is to continue to evolve and activate your multi-dimensional merkaba, so that you can go up to heaven for your income. Don't look down...the answer is point up and connect back into the abundant realm of Universal Wealth. We are designed as multi-dimensional beings to draw our sustenance and resources from the Unified Field of all potential and slide it down through the inner "doorway" to our 3-d realities. So keep expanding and reaching to the heavens for all that you need and breathe it down into your core - start feeling supported by the benevolent Universe.

Based on the tenets of the Law of Attraction, we live in an electro-magnetic force field, and we magnetize to us what we hold within our being. If we feel empty inside, we draw in more emptiness. If we feel inner rage, we magnetize more angry people and frustrating circumstances. It's a clear and simple Universal Law. So in keeping with this logic, we need to fill inside with the energy of what we desire to meet our daily needs. Remember, the potential exists outside of time, in the Unified Field, so connect into the flow of the Universe during mediation and breathe the energy of money, love, companionship, health, etc, down from the higher dimensions into your inner core. Hold that energy deep inside your being, like a container, and fill up! Feel filled inside with the Universal Wealth providing for all your needs. Charge up your magnetic field with the abundant energy present inside your core!

This manifesting process applies the principles of attraction to the mundane task of generating income. The key to its success is being able to "slide" the abundant Universal energy down from the higher frequency bands, or dimensions, into the lower dimension of material form. It requires us to open the "inter-dimensional doorway" in the inner mind to slide it through.

Let me share with you an analogy to help explain: I was visiting in New York City during the holidays and I took an overnight trip up north on the train. As I was returning to the city, in my haste I jumped on the slower moving local train that stopped at every town. As we're trudging along, the express train zips by in the same direction. I was struck by the phenomena of how the faster train (a higher frequency band) was humming next to the slower train (a lower frequency band), creating a temporary corridor between the two trains, like an inter-dimensional doorway. It brings to mind the movie "Sliding Doors" with Gwyneth Paltrow, depicting the un-manifested potential of parallel lives - like jumping through the door of moving trains.

Our future relies on our ability to slide Universal support through the doorway of time, from our higher dimensional presence down into our earthly presence. And we do this by reaching a meditative state in the timeless mind, and opening our inter-dimensional doorway to receive in the abundance of Universal Wealth. As we fill up inside with this powerful energy of potential resources, our magnetic field actively pulls in the reflection in form. We become a magnetic force field of mind over matter, sourcing our earthly lives with abundance and ful-fillment.
