Back a few years ago, during the last year of Lotus edition, the World Championship of L5R occured. Salman Bakarat won and entered the Tomb of Shinsei first. He left with a book held closed by a fat, black spider with razors for legs.
This was the Tao of Fu Leng.
A while later, he issued the Tao Challenge. But Spider/Horde Military wasn't up to par.
And almost two years after that he changed the challenge because he was tired of nothing coming of the original and lugging the book around was getting to him.
At GenCon Indy 2008, the Spider paid 50,000 Koku to Salman for the Tao of Fu Leng. Our efforts were reconized in story and the Spider have gained that which should have been theirs all along.
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed their time, effort and koku to achiving this.
