When a person is in a situation where he/she must select one or
the other (not both), usually what is financially right takes precedence over what is morally right (-which explains the reason for the negativity that has been perpetuated to our youth all over the world & explains why Bush/Cheney won't withdrawal the troops from Iraq).

A media hyped microcosm of this: The decision of both CBS Corp Chief (Leslie Moonves) & NBC Universal Chief (Jeff Zucker) about whether to terminate Don Imus was not AND WILL NOT be based upon Imus' offensive comments (because if it was, Imus would have been Fired awhile ago since he makes these types of offensive comments/jokes on a regular basis on his show).

The decision to keep or fire him is based upon the ratings of his show- if ratings fall, advertisers will back away, revenue of CBS Corp & NBC Universal will decline which means the Termination of Imus.
If ratings continue to rise or remain stable, advertisers will remain, revenue of CBS Corp & NBC Universal will rise or remain constant which means Imus keeps his job. Leslie Moonves, Jeff Zucker, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Don King, Nicky Oppenheimer, Phil Knight, and many business
exec's only care about what is morally right when it doesn't potentially effect their own bottom line-period!!

Exec's at cigarette firms & other drug companies, make money
thru selling a physically addictive & detrimental product to humans-
Duke University was founded based upon the $$$ earned from negatively affecting the health of others. Financially right, yes! Morally right, No (in our opinion).

The decision whether to keep or terminate slavery was a
financial decision it was NOT a moral one.

The decision whether to expose many of these pedophile priests
within the Catholic Church should be a moral decision (in our
opinion) but usually it's a financial one?

The point is the next time YOU are in a situation where you
are forced to choose between what is morally right & financially right
for yourself what choice will you make????????
Just be sure you don't criticize others for the same move you would make under the
same circumstances????????
