Last night (this morning??), Ian and I went to see this awesome band - it was absolutely incredible. If you ever get the chance to see Blasted, I highly recommend the experience.

But they are just a cover band, you say. That they may be, but Blasted is quite impressive. They perform hits from Billy Idol and Blondie to NIN and No Doubt. The band is incredible, the vocals are amazing... Every song that they performed, save one, was perfect.

... and for all you guys (and gals) who are totally in love with Gwen Stefani.. you'll love the femal lead singer, Kara.  To be fair, the male lead, Ryan, is nothing to sneeze at either.   He is truly brilliant at playing to the crowd.

why do people insist on pushing their solutions on me?  (sorry honey - i do understand what you mean even though you are probably a part of this.) yes, i was born with a slower thought process.. that only means that i cannot answer you right now.. not that i do not have an answer for you.  you have always taken my silence as my submission under someone else's manipulation.

frankly, i am not you.  i do not process the way you do.  i never will. however you think to the contrary, i am stronger than you. is it because i do not give as much weight to my fickle emotions? maybe. maybe it's because i have always been on the outside that i feel more than you do. maybe you are just annoyed at my illogical spontaneity (quixotic) when usually more levelheaded.  don't you realize that you have manipulated me more than your objet d'ennui? your manipulation had to do with my life's direction. i was at your whim because you were 'protecting me'.. from some imagined monster that was my strength.  you imagined me as i was as a child.. weak.. sick.. almost inviable.  can't you see that it only strengthened me?

i'm not saying that i don't need help.  but it is not so urgent as you imagine.  please just leave it be.
