Dear Firefly Talk Crew,

First of all I want to thank you guys for putting on such a great show.   When I first found out about the podcasts I went crazy  trying to find and download all the previous shows.  I just can't get enough of this verse of ours!  I also wanted to share with y'all just how much Firefly has meant to meant to me, and how it has changed my life.

To fully understand how Firefly has changed my life you first need to know a little bit about me.  I have cerebral palsy and have been in a wheelchair my whole life.  As you can probably tell, my handicap only affects me physically, and allows to me to be the firefly junkie that I am.  I generally try to have positive outlook on life, but having to deal with situations that would make most people think they have died and "gone to the special hell" does take a toll on me at times.  Recently I've had to deal with a chronically dislocated left hip. This leaves me debilitated at times to where all I'm able to do is lay back and watch TV and movies and so forth. It was during one of these long periods of doing nothing when I was first introduced to Serenity and her crew. After watching the series and the BDM all in one weekend I started feeling better about everything that was going wrong in my life. I mean what guy wouldn't feel better after watching Kaylee eat a strawberry?!  I guess what I'm trying to say is- the series is one of the few works of fiction that can actually make me forget my disability, at least for a while. So thank you crew of firefly talk for keeping the universe that I love so much alive in a very real way!

Today I was pompous and my sister was crazy. Today we were kidnapped by hillfolk, never to be seen again. It was the best day ever!
