You are with me on this journey of living my passion and I am grateful to have you. You know, some people may think life is about the destination and the accumulation of wealth and status. Sadly, there are incorrect for all these things will never make us feel the peace and joy so let's stop following the crowd.

Sullivan Hall, NYC was a delicious, celebration of all the people and things that I love to love. Thanks so much to all of you for helping to make it so. I made new friends and vibed with old ones. I'm also grateful to those who supported from a far.

Giving back is important, for who are we if we aren't our brother's keeper right? I've committed to doing so for the rest of my life. Every little bit counts. Whether it's through my foundation HHEY or with other organizations, it's important for all us to get up off our couches and but our minds and our hands to work.   If you'd like to learn more about HHEY, the V-Day organization (I'm performing at it's event March 12th in Brooklyn NY) check out the community page at www.wendystkitts.com or www.vday.org

 Happy Valentine's Day!

Friends,

I know this past year was tough for all of us.  Some of us lost loved ones, jobs, pets and even lost faith.  Let's make this coming year what it needs to be for each of us.  Let's reflect but bench the tears for a minute and dig in deep to reach for what is ours to claim.  For me, the continuation of my spiritual ascension through music, charity and time with loved ones are what I'm always after.  Oh, and a slice of Karen's pineapple upside down cake from the UK.

I'm looking forward to thanking you in person for your support of this island girl's dream that possesses her wake and sleep.  So come on, let's go rock the hell of out Sullivan Hall, NYC on Jan 24th! OK?!!  Hope you enjoy the extended version of new tune "That'z What'z Up".  My percussionists go crazy on this song in the live shows. -Wendy St. Kitts www.wendystkitts.com

The late lady, Ms. Eartha Kitt has left us and I'm celebrating her life; a life that was mostly difficult but touched me in many ways.   Ms. Kitt was a tiny woman who defied the odds and connected continents with her grace and talent.  I can never forget Ms. Kitt's impact on my life.  Not just her talent but her determination to be Ms. Eartha Kitt unapologetically.

I look forward to seeing you and thanking you in person at the Bitter End in NYC this Saturday.  Yes, it will be a love fest.

Stay warm and safe, Wendy St. Kitts

Blessings to you and yours. My dear, I hope this finds you in good health and spirits. What a time to be alive to witness this moment in not only American history, but the history of the world. It is a humbling and reverent experience to participate in this historic event.  In St. Kitts it is a common thing to elect black Prime Ministers, as they are called there. However, the effect of the American experience is not lost on any of us.

As a child growing up in St. Kitts, my Mom Joy told my brother and me that we could do EVERYTHING with hard work, humility, honesty and self belief. If a thing came too easily, you better believe it was not ours to own. Time would always prove her right. Even from our very humble lifestyle, living on a speck of land flung in Caribbean Sea far from the mighty continents of the world, we felt within our bones that she was absolutely correct.  Our purpose was clear.

As you journey towards our dreams, please hold firmly to your codes of prosperity. Mine are measured by the ascension of my spirit made in part by our exchange through music.  Thank you for receiving me.

Cheers to your ascension!  Wendy St. Kitts

Aaaaah! I'm feel sooo alive right now!!   YEAH! Can I just tell you how much I appreciate the time you take to reach out? Thank you!  Thank you!  I read every single one of your emails, cards, text and I'm truly overwhelmed by your kindness and support.   And yes, I, Wendy, respond to each and every one of them.  You matter to me. Thank U!

The gig at the Anacostia Gallery in DC on Oct 4th was oooh so much fun!   So many familiar faces from my island of St. Kitts even and new faces too!  Hmmm, beautiful!!!  Talk about the love!  It was like family, truly.   We rocked, we jammed, we cracked jokes from the stage and we celebrated our union.   YEAH!! Now, that's what's up!  We always close with the song Woman Empowered and yes I do get a lil "Alanis Morisette", you know mad, emotional-I kicked so high I thought I ripped me pants.  But, hah, your girl was safe. LOL.   The fellas in the band killed it.  Thanks to Anacostia family and to all of you for supporting and believing in my music.   Look for video and pics soon on youtube soon.

Have no doubt that we will be coming to your area soon! Shoot, I didn't cross 2 oceans  and 1 sea to sit at home behind my piano!! No, No, NO.  LOL!  I can't wait to meet you in person. Till then, enjoy So Good, Yeah- from me to you.  Here http://apps.facebook.com/ilike/artist/Wendy+St.+Kitts
