So, I can think of no better reason to share this picture of a Mexican Dalek with you all.

Goldbergian Tortillas
(It's actually a tortilla machine at Disneyland. You get to go in and look at tortillas being made, and they then give you a free one fresh off the belt.)

Cats love going to the vet.

If your car breaks down just off the 110 by the Port of Los Angeles, don't take photos of the cool cranes and ships you see while waiting for the tow truck.

National Security

An embarassed cop who'd rather be shaking down real perps will be sent to your location to tell you that you're making the security guards nervous.  You know, because of the homeland security.

National Security

I don't like being hassled by the popo while taking shitty photos of cool looking cranes and things, and he doesn't like having to drive all the way over here any time a nervous security guard sees some one with a camera.

Sure, you're on public land taking a picture of something that's clearly visible from public land, but the cop will be told to tell you that you need a special permit from the management to take pictures.  The nice cop with no thumb will be biting his tongue very hard throughout.  He's a nice man, don't do that to him.

The security guard can go
fuck himself
 though.

El Lay Zero - Happy New Era!

Saturday, August 30, 2008
"I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.
.."

A fine ship

Some day, this photo will be all I have of her.
