Sure is funny how life throws us a curve ball....
Kids grow up fast, don't they? I can't believe how time just flies by; within a blink of an eye, 10 years and counting. My niece came to me two nights ago and asked me if she could start "dating"... eeeeeeeeeek! The girl is 10! She needs to stick w/ dolls and iCarly. I told her that she was still too young for that and maybe she could wait til she was 16 and in Highschool. After all, I am not her father..but she is practically my daughter. She is already filled w/ enough drama, lets add a boy to the mix. No Thank you! Then she always brings up a Cell phone. Ok, what 10 year old needs a cell phone? I certainly didn't get my first phone until I had a job, and that was when I was 15. My mom sure wasn't going to pay the bill. I don't blame her, phones are costly. If I didn't need one, I wouldn't have one. But I am an Adult...and she is in the 5th grade. I rest my case :p I wish that kids never grew up. Honestly, I would deal w/ changing diapers instead of them arguing w/ you. You tell them no, and apparently it means yes. Call it like you want it, but kids grow up and become rebellious. Babies are less complicating; and shopping for clothes is so fun :) Talking w/ one of my friends; she tells me that the kids are probably greatful that they have me in their life. Now, if only the little ones saw that. For everything I have done for them (including Juli)... I don't see why they don't listen a little more! I have taken Juli, Kane and Caden to Seattle, Denver, Telluride, and Orlando! That is definately more places than I have ever been when I was in elementary school. I even took Juli w/ me to Denver this summer when I auditioned for American Idol. They have it pretty good I think. They spend alot of time w/ their Grandma, too. I only saw my grandparents at least once a year.... But, they are children. Maybe it will be instilled in them when they are older. Just thought I would ramble a bit. Keep it real, homeskillets! ♥Bryan

I feel as if I am being bombarded by blog views and I am doing nothing to show for it...
New blog? Sure! I guess I can ramble a little ;)
I have lost 12 lbs and I feel great~ Like tony the tiger..only about 30 lbs overweight....
Also, I told my employer that I am thinking about moving to California next Summer. Besides the fact that he flipped and is totally stressing, he has the nerve to ask me why I am leaving?
I told him I was becoming a professional stripper. I am good at giving the straight face; and I think he actually believed me...
I Am Not Stripper Material... I don't think you would want to see this naked. But, for only $19.95...
I am Kidding! You fucking pervs ;) Although lately people have been commenting on my beautiful eyes. Even Guys! What do I say to that? Do I simply reply "Thank you" and never act like it happened? Or do I give them $50 to make them holla?
Hah! See how confusing my life should'nt be?
About California: I am thinking about moving there. Serio*!
*That was some Spanish in case you didn't get that..*
I was thinking about starting out up north and then moving my way down, slowly ;)
Mind out the gutter! I eventually want to end up somewhere in or around Los Angeles. Call me crazy; but I want to get into the biz! I would really love to be a voice over! Not kidding :) I think it would be fun!
Maybe try acting? I think I could make it into a hobby! I love to site see and I've never ever been to Los Angeles. Just talking about it makes me all gitty inside! I am really really excited :)
What do you all think of Cali?
The crime could be better, and I hate Earthquakes.. But, it is the land of oppurtunity ;) I've also noticed that housing in California isn't that expensive. Like any city, yes it can be. But what I have looked at, it's not all that bad! It's cheaper to live in NorCal than it is in Billings, Montana. What am I missing in this picture?
Well, I am closing. Fill me in please =)

Ho Ho Ho!
Wait...wrong holiday. Hold up! It's HALLOWEEN! I just thought I would write a little blog today to dedicate this fun and exciting Holiday! Where you go out and get the Candy from those who decide to be dumb enough to hand it out Hey, I am not complaining but if you find it in you to give out to kids who probably don't need it (And I'm sure the parents really love the Dentist visit), bless your heart <3 Just remember to play it safe. No one likes (or wants) bad things to happen on the one day of the year where you can actually dress up like a whore and people don't care. Also,
BE PATIENT! I know, free candy is To die For... but seriously, if there is a line
Wait your fucking turn for Christ sakes!
Don't cut in front of people! Seriously, you won't die if you don't hit up every house w/ piles of yummy goodness just calling your name. And tonight, I will seriously cut a bitch if you push me out of the way. I got kids too, mother fucker! So, tomorrow if you read a headline that a parent took it out on a poor and innocent Trick or Treater ...you were warned! One of my biggest pet peeves is when people cut in line. It has always been one of my biggest. It's like those people in life that are conceited and think life will always hand them the golden spoon. Well, guess again! When they finally go out into the world and mommy and daddy aren't wiping their ass...they will learn :D Anddddd.... Be Cautious! I know that every year you think what your kids are eating is safe. But, there are sick fuckers out there. I don't blame them though. This world is over populated and well..a few kids not here wouldn't hurt... I'm kidding! Seriously, you should inspect the candy before they decide to pop it in their mouth. You don't know these generous fewlz. They could be passing Meth to your kids. I mean, Dina Lohan is a perfect candidate..and I'm sure Britney's Mom was the same way. Those poor children... Be sure too that you watch what you are doing. Always look both ways when you cross the street, because cars can .. and will hit your ass! That goes for those driving too; watch out! I'm sure you don't want a lawsuit on your hands. People sue for anything it seems nowadays! (Lawyers are good at getting what they want...) Last but not least.. Have fun! It's not often that Halloween lands on a Saturday. I don't think it ever did when I was "young" enough to go. For those who are going to parties...be sure to set your clocks back 1 hour tonight. You can thank your lucky starz that you are getting an extra hour to recoup from your "Ghoulish" Activities! Are you the trick..or the treat? ...
You Decide!

Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogs, Vlogs, and
the rest are all part of this cult. The reason I say this, is because
once you get in there's no getting out. You are required to log onto
your little page and update your status every five minutes or people
will call you lazy, and probably flame you. But, if you are on too
much, people will say you have no life or friends-- which is probably
why you have one of these in the first place--and generally avoid you.
Then, you have no family, life, friends, and not even virtual friends.
Then you move into the internet dating phase, where you wind up
pretending to be a 14 year old boy and chat online with a girl you
thinks your her "muscular virtual boyfriend". You ask her to send you
naked pics and then you wind up in jail and are marked with the stamp
of pedophile for life.
You see, nothing can good can come from these. This is why I have none
of them (except a blog, of course). I guess they can be fun in
moderation, but it is too easy to get addicted to them, at least in my
opinion.
I mean, whatever happened to calling someone on the phone for the hell
of it? Cell phones have become internet surfing, IMing, text messaging
devices. The "phone" part isn't even used. More like a
"cellular-time-waster" to me...
Now--don't get me wrong--these are all great utilities and have made
our lives a hell of a lot easier. I just think that they have been
tangled in our lives so much that we feel deprived without them.
Unsettled. Some people can't go a week without their cell phones
because they feel "disconnected from the world."
What I'm really trying to say is that these are great things, but they
can suck you in if you're not careful. Don't be a part of the Cult of
the Internet....
Lol. Keep it clean, perves :p

What’s better than putting
smiles on the faces of seriously ill children and their families??
Thank you for connecting to
Starlight on (LinkedIn/MySpace), it means so much to have your support! Now, we
are asking for your help to enable Starlight to win up to $50,000 in prizes
from the Case Foundation!
What is America’s
Giving Challenge? America’s
Giving Challenge is just what its name suggests—a challenge to get people to
“give back” to causes out there like Starlight who are trying to make the world
a better place.
The Giving Challenge does not
reward the largest causes, but those who can get the most donors to log onto
their Causes page on Facebook on a daily
basis to make daily donations (days
count as 12 noon – 12 noon PT the next day)! This means that multiple donations
from the same individual to a specific cause on the same day will only count
once. However, individuals can donate once per day for each of the 30 days of
the Challenge (ends Nov. 6) and these will count as 30 unique donations (and
these “unique donations” are what we need to stay in the race for daily awards
and the $50,000 grand prize!)
KEEP STARLIGHT ON TOP!
One
important note: Although Causes on Facebook is the host site of America’s
Giving Challenge, ANYONE can make a
donation—NOT just Facebook users!
Repost this in
any way you can and pass the word about Starlight to get your friends
and family to join in, too! We
won’t be able to do it without YOU!
You can donate for as little as $10, and every
contribution matters when it comes to brightening an ill child’s world a little
every day!
Your gift will ensure that more families have access
to Starlight's programs which distract children from their pain, help them
better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families facing
similar challenges so that no one feels alone.
To provide our
programs to a family for one week: $12 To provide our
programs to a family for one month: $50 To provide our
programs to a family for one year: $600
And while we’re on the
subject…
Are you tracking Starlight?
Please help out if you can!

I was going through my friends list and I was reading this beautiful
piece this girl wrote about life being some sort of existential battle
ground.
here it is....
"we are constantly working towards something, struggling to be better,
and sacraficing for our loved ones. life is a battle and the world is
our field so rest up and grab your shield because it will be a long
time before there's any sign of a retreat."
This got me thinking about the meaning of life.... At first, I read
this, and I wondered if her view was somehow unhealthy, if life was a
battlefield who would want to live it, wouldn't we rather live in
jungle full of mystery and fun.... but then I reflected on the merit of
her words, and I realized wether it was good or bad that she held the
bright globe of truth in her hands.... life is a battle field that
tests us, waiting to see if we are going to break and spindle, or over
come and triumph.
right now the battle lies in the valley of relationship, and like my favorite clash song, I am stung with existential stuck.
should I stay or should I go now?
personal freedom or safety, stability and someone to share it with?
other thoughts.
I miss the life of wander, where you simply let go off the leash and
roam, making opportunities as they arise and racing back to your
computer to tell someone, if anyone, what you learned and what you did.
other thoughts....
how does the individual survive in a world where werewolves run the conformist parade?
where does an individual look for guidance when there is no one like
him... is he alone, is he cursed, or is he blessed with a gift? does he
smile and make fun? does he turn emo and cloak away, waiting for death?
okay so I have been experimenting with this new form in writing where I
free stream my thoughts and blend a personal narrative with poetic blur.
I call this piece....
A ridge to the top and a fall to the bottom.
Isn't it interesting how life throws us around like an emotional roller
coaster? Sometimes we find ourselves on the top of the world where
nothing can go wrong and just moments later, with the wrong choice of
words, we find ourselves drowning in misery.
Life is like a two side piece of paper that blows in the existential
wind. Sometimes it lands on the colorful side and other times, more
often than not, it lands on the black side. If only we could cherish
both sides, would there be a side at all?
-Bryan

Patrick Swayze, whose good looks and sympathetic performances in
films such as "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" made him a romantic idol to
millions, died Monday. He was 57.
Patrick Swayze's doctor said in March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
Swayze died of pancreatic cancer, his publicist, Annett Wolf, told CNN. Swayze's doctor, Dr. George Fisher, revealed in early March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from the disease.
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side
after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,"
Wolf said in a statement Monday. Most recently, Swayze starred
in A&E Network's "The Beast," which debuted in January. He agreed
to take the starring role of an undercover FBI agent before his
diagnosis. The network agreed to shoot an entire season of the show after Swayze responded well to his cancer treatment.
In an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters in January, Swayze said his
work on that show was exhausting, requiring 12-hour workdays in
Chicago, Illinois, doing his own stunts. But he said the show's
character "just felt right for my soul."
"If I leave this Earth, I want to leave this Earth just knowing
I've tried to give something back and tried to do something worthwhile
with myself," Swayze
told Walters, when asked why he decided to do the show. "And that keeps
me going, that gets me up in the morning. My work ... is my legacy." "The Beast" was canceled in June because of Swayze's illness, after doctors told him the cancer had spread to his liver.
"We are saddened by the loss of one of our generation's greatest
talents and a member of the A&E family," a statement from the
network said. "Patrick's work on 'The Beast' was an inspiration to us
all. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with his wife,
Lisa, and his entire family during this difficult time." Swayze
was mostly known for a handful of supporting roles when he broke
through with his performance as dance instructor Johnny Castle in
1987's "Dirty Dancing." Three years later, he became an even bigger star with "Ghost," in
which he played an investment banker who dies and learns to tap into
his unspoken feelings for his partner (Demi Moore). The film won Whoopi
Goldberg an Oscar and helped make him People magazine's "Sexiest Man
Alive" in 1991. "Patrick was a really good man, a funny man and
one to whom I owe much that I can't ever repay," Goldberg said in a
statement. "I believe in 'Ghost's' message, so he'll always be near."
Swayze told Entertainment Weekly in 1990 that "the movies that have had
the most powerful effects on my life have been about romantic
characters." He expanded on the effort he put into love scenes for People in 1991.
"It's possibly the scariest thing I do," he said, "doing something so
personal and giving people out there the opportunity to see if you're a
good kisser or not." Patrick Wayne Swayze was born on August 18,
1952, in Houston, Texas. His father was an engineering draftsman; his
mother was a ballet dancer and later the director of the Houston Ballet
Dance Company. She led her son into the dancing world, which
wasn't always easy for a Texas male. Indeed, the young Swayze played
football, practiced martial arts and was an accomplished diver and
track star while growing up, though he was good enough at dance to earn
a college scholarship. After an early professional job playing
Prince Charming in an early '70s version of "Disney on Ice," Swayze
returned to Houston, where he met Lisa Niemi, a student of his
mother's. The two were married in 1975 and moved to New York to pursue
their careers. See timeline of Swayze's life »
Swayze seemed set on a dance career: He studied with the prestigious
Joffrey Ballet and joined another company, the Eliot Feld Ballet
Company. But surgery for an old football injury ended his ballet career
and he turned to acting, nabbing the lead role of Danny Zuko in the
long-running Broadway production of "Grease" in 1978, around the time
the movie starring John Travolta was hitting theaters. "Grease" earned
him some Hollywood attention, and he and Niemi moved West. After
a couple of bit parts, including one in a 1981 episode of "M*A*S*H,"
Swayze picked up the role of Darrel Curtis in Francis Ford Coppola's
1983 film of "The Outsiders," which also included future stars Matt
Dillon, Rob Lowe, Ralph Macchio, Emilio Estevez and Tom Cruise. Swayze
was also one of the leads in 1984's "Red Dawn," about teenagers
defending their town from a Soviet attack on America. "Not only
did we lose a fine actor today, I lost my older 'Outsiders' brother,"
said actor C. Thomas Howell, who also starred with Swayze in "Red Dawn"
and "Grandview, U.S.A." But it was with "Dirty Dancing" that
Swayze hit it big. The film about a girl's coming of age at a Catskills
resort in the early '60s was intended for a limited release but became
one of the decade's biggest sleeper hits and made Swayze and co-star
Jennifer Grey household names. The film gave birth to a
catchphrase -- "Nobody puts Baby in a corner," spoken by Swayze's
character to Grey's domineering father (Jerry Orbach) -- and eventually
led to a follow-up, 2004's "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights." Swayze even
sang a Top 10 hit, "She's Like the Wind," on the film's soundtrack. Swayze, known as a down-to-earth, nice-guy actor, was determined not to follow a predictable career path.
He followed "Dirty Dancing" with "Road House" (1989) in which he played
a manager at a rough-and-tumble bar (the film was particularly popular
on late-night cable). He succeeded "Ghost" with "Point Break" (1991),
about a group of thieves; "City of Joy" (1992), in which he played a
doctor in a poverty-stricken Indian village; and "To Wong Foo, Thanks
for Everything, Julie Newmar" (1995), in which he starred as a drag
queen. ''I don't want to be Mr. Romantic Leading Man. I don't
want to be the Dance Dude. I don't want to be the Action Guy. If I had
to do any one of those all my life, it'd drive me crazy,'' he told
Entertainment Weekly in the 1990 interview. Swayze's career
diminished in the late '90s. He broke both legs in 1997 while making a
film, "Letters From a Killer," and went into rehab to overcome an
admitted drinking problem. In 2000, he was flying in his own
twin-engine plane when the plane depressurized; Swayze landed in a
housing development in Arizona. Though some witnesses say he appeared
intoxicated, he was later revealed to have been suffering from hypoxia,
related to the depressurization and his three-pack-a-day cigarette
habit. Swayze re-established his knack for picking sleepers with
"Donnie Darko" (2001), the dark film about a troubled student that
became a sensation on video. Swayze played a creepy motivational
speaker and won raves for his performance. Swayze's more recent films included a TV version of "King Solomon's Mines" and 2007's "Christmas in Wonderland."
Though he still had the power to make women's hearts flutter --
22-year-old Scarlett Johansson, upon receiving Harvard's Hasty Pudding
Award in February 2007, said her dream date was "probably Patrick
Swayze, my dream come true" -- Swayze wasn't too impressed with himself.
"Good-looking people turn me off," he once said. "Myself included." Swayze is survived by his wife, Lisa, of over 30 years and his mother, Patsy. Pat, you are in a better place and all the suffering/struggle is over. R.I.P ~Bryan

I
guess we all have moments that we would like to take back. Decisions
made, words spoken, that would we could rewind and erase. I'm
no stranger to this thought and given time to think about it, could
probably come up with a list of regretful moments.
It is funny to me how our moments are strung together in unending
memories of good and bad. How little things turn our lives to the left
or the right, changing our fate forever. What I do realize though is
this: every step we take and decision we make creates the "us" that we are.
Every struggle makes us tougher and teaches us how to stand stronger in
the midst of the storm.
A lot of things that happen to us happen through no fault of our own.
I'm always wondering what is the lesson in this? What am I suppose to
take away from this that will make me a stronger, better person? What
steps do I take to assure this doesn't happen again? What could I have
done differently?
One thing is for certain: My life is in my own hands. Though I don't
always choose the things that come my way, I do choose how I react to
them. I choose to be strong and to do no harm. I choose to use my
common sense, my kind spirit and deal with the unending deluge of
problems that life presents me. I choose to look at them as challenges
that are just speed bumps that lead me to a brighter tomorrow.
I think if we all just muddle through realizing that struggle is part
of life, we will prevail. If we keep our heads up, our chins out and
keep moving forward, we will find our way. Wherever you are today, I
hope you are doing well. Whatever you are struggling with, you are not
alone. Be strong and of good spirit, all will be well.
♥Bryan

Yea, that's right it's 1 in the a.m. and I have a story that will make you stay on the edge of your seat! Yesterday, was well, quite the trip to say the least...
The plans that were in store yesterday were that mi familia would go down to Cody for the fourth. Go to the Parade and then drive through the park (Yellowstone) and check it out due to the fact we haven't been down there for a few years and my mom really needed a day out of town.
Well, those plans were pretty much shot out of the water...
My mother, brother, sister, niece, and I all loaded up and headed down there in my NEW car. We had left Billings at 7:15 a.m. and everything seemed to be going good. We hit the road and got to Cody in about 1.5 hours. The weather was so gorgeous and I didn't even get sunburned :) The parade was sooooooooo boring...but, I had Nevaeh sitting with me the whole time so she kept things pretty interesting. If anything, she enjoyed the parade more than anyone but she is also only 11 months old.
By the time the parade was over, my sister was not feeling good. If any of you that know me personally know that Heather was pregnant, she was having some pretty hardcore contractions. So, we decided to come home. It's really weird how fast this pregnancy was for my sister. So fast even, that she ended up having the kid...IN MY BACKSEAT! Yes, she had the baby in/on my backseat. Her contractions started in Wyoming and so I was rushing to get back to Billings. I was going anwhere from 90-100 in a 65 which is why I got pulled over by a Wyoming State Police car. The guy was a rookie cop and practically a retard, to say the least. Nice thing is that I had a pretty good excuse for breaking the speed laws. I did decide to go the speed limit for the rest of the highway til I hit Montana; They are so anal about their "65 mph" highways down there. blah blah blah...
As soon as I hit Montana though..it seemed as though traffic only went slower. I kept getting stuck behind so many people who were going anywhere from 5-15 miles slower than the speed limit of 70 mph. I did alot of passing yesterday and alot of the way through Montana I was going anywhere from 80-100 mph. But, that wasn't fast enough. Due to the fact that I got stuck behind SLOW mother fuckers, my sister could not wait to get to the hospital. Her contractions were so fast and constant that the baby came very quickly (..it might also be because she has 4 other kids too...lol). I will always remember mile marker 441. That is where my sister crowned and out popped Trey Michael Starr. Just so all of you know, the smell of freshly born baby, is not that pleasant and I don't suggest it to anyone. I am still cleaning up nasty shit from my backseat. I hate my seats; go with leather or suede...not both.
To anyone who decides to call a 911 operator for an ambulance, don't bother. I was getting so frustrated with the operator my brother had on the phone after we left Laurel. The bitch put him on hold, WTF? Ugh..I told him to forget it I would just drive to the hospital because I can get to DBC by the time they were to get to where we were anyway..
If anything I got back to Billings in under an hour. Not bad on my part don't you think? Well, that's my story. It's not as interesting in writing then it was as the driver in this situation. I hope everyone had a better fourth then we did. With all said, we are blessed to have a new baby boy in the family :)
Keep it real, punks! ♥Bryan

I received this personal Email from Ester Choi, one of many UNICEF organizers at the main headquarters here in the United States:"You are awesome!
Because of you, UNICEF received the $5,000 donation from MicroPlace!
Thank you so much to everyone who donated
to this cause. The 1.8 million members of this cause really came
together to make this happen. Thank you to the members of this cause. The $5,000 that MicroPlace
donated in addition to your donations will go straight to helping
children around the world." -Esther Choi, UNICEF
Also in the Email was a personal message from MicroPlace: "Thanks to you, MicroPlace contributed $5,000 to UNICEF. At
MicroPlace, we believe that helping moms start a business and make
enough money to send their kids to school is a great way to give
children a future. Check out MicroPlace on CBS Evening News with Katie
Couric (https://www.microplace.com/?cid=fbcauses) to see how your
investment can help poor women do just that for as little as $20."
A huge thank you to those who donated during the campaign. Each of
your donations makes a difference and we appreciate it so much. Thanks

So it has been weeks since my last post. Endless blog views and what do I have to show for it? Nothing. So, today I thought I would bring to you some love and write and post to all those who still read this "Blog" in which I find myself gushing over things that to you not make any sense at all. My life, My Space, take it or leave it. But just remember, God can only judge me. But, what if you are Athiest? Perhaps that is an entire blog all in itself ...
Life Purposes 101
Everyone has a purpose in life. Sometimes a person lives their entire life without knowing what theirs is, and to some it comes naturally...
Well, I know what my purpose is in life is. It's those 3 words; Happiness, Pleasure, and also to love and be loved.
Happiness: When I was
a kid I knew the secret to a happy life. Play by the rules, work hard in
school, and if you work hard in school, then your reward is more
school. After more school then you’re given the best that life has
to offer: a job, money and a future, filled with the unending singular
pursuit of more. More money, more success, more everything. This is what
I was living for. I envied people who never questioned it. Me? I needed
a way out. I knew that out there somewhere there is more rewarding life
that leads to an absolute happiness of mine. Sometimes risking
everything is the only choice you have to find your happiness. I have
risked everything I had for doing what I think I will love to do.
Friends called me insane, family didn’t agree with my choice,
especially because they had big expectation on me. But I stick with my
choice, sometimes being totally messed can be a liberating experience. I believe I need to be unhappy to find my happiness. Today, I see
things in a new light. A bright shiny light, that keeps making me smile.
HAPPINESS:an absolute one.
Pleasure: I always
wish that I could see the future, so I was capable of changing it. But even
if you could see the future, you are just a witness to coming moments.
Every man has his own destiny; you can’t escape it even if you see it
coming. Then I begin to accept things as they are. There will still be
wars, hunger, violence and racism in this world. So, why all this effort
when you know what’s going to happen? Will watching this destruction of
mankind give a purpose? Or is it just the muted feeling of watching a
movie when you know how it ends? And then something will happen that I will
never forget…I am WRONG about there’s no hope in this world. All
the effort we made is useless…there is hope. I have HOPE and believe on
it. Today, I glimpse something strange and new…a future where anything
can happen, even when you couldn’t see the future. It is a beautiful
thing and the feeling it gives me is as close as I have ever felt
to: PLEASURE.
Love: Sometimes
things don’t always turn out the way we planned. Someday I will find
love; maybe that someday is today. You will never know the mysteries of
destinies. But one thing I know that is that perhaps LOVE will complete my happiness
and pleasure. Someday is maybe today, but for now I'm in the wrong
place to be real.
Easy Now ♥Bryan
