As always, I try to keep gig postings updated at my blog, so if you can't search thru bulletins you can always come here to my blog to check for openings that I'm aware of. I always post the most recent additions and updates at the top of the page and remove the ones that I know are no longer available.
I always try to post as much information on the gig as I have, but I do appreciate updates, corrections, additions, reposts... anything at all that could provide an opportunity for someone to get a gig. Although I personally do not like pay-to-play gigs, I'll even post those here for anyone who wants to pursue them. Not every gig listed here is great, but crap (just like beauty) is in the eye of the beholder.
If you get a gig because of this, I want to hear about it! And please let the venues/promoters know where you got the 411... so that they might notify me of more gig opportunities down the road.

The Mighty Regis (www.myspace.com/themightyregis) are looking for a new drummer. They are NOT looking to hire someone by the hour; this is an opportunity for a skilled, professional, easy-going drummer to become a permanent member of a hard-working Celtic Punk outfit based in Los Angeles. They have two albums out, just finished a 3-year residency at Molly Malone's (birthplace of Flogging Molly), and regularly perform all over SoCal. THERE IS NO PAY TO START; everything they earn goes into paying for rehearsal space, hotels, travel, etc., as they work their arses off to make this band their careers.

Next to your gear & instruments, the most important piece of equipment for any gigging musician is their vehicle. If it don't go, there ain't no show.
Knowing how important it is to keep that vehicle in good running order, I've worked a deal for any musicians (or anyone else) that wants to take advantage of it.
If you go to my personal mechanic, George Bost, at B&M Auto in Aliso Viejo and mention that The GigBoss sent you, he'll cut you an instant 20% discount on all parts and labor for any service or repair, no matter how large or small.
This guy is a full-service auto specialist. He can do anything from a simple oil change or tune-up to a complete transmission rebuild. I've been a customer for a few years now, and he's worked on everything from my Jeep to my Corvette to my Mercedes and everything in between.
And he stands behind what he does. He actually fixed a problem on my Mercedes once that turned out to not be the actual problem, and then sat down and wrote me a refund check for the 'non-problem' that he fixed... and left the new parts in place. He's a stand-up guy.
His shop is located at 27802 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo and his phone number is 949-349-0742. There's a Dairy Queen and a sports bar right there, so there's plenty of food & drink to have at if you need to wait while he works on your vehicle.
