Here is my collection 'PrimCasso' enjoy

So last thursday Erin and I met Betsey Johnson, She made an appearance @ her store in Union Square.  It was so packed, everyone and their mom from FIDM was there.  She was hella nice and I think a little tips.  She held up a glass of champagne and said "breakfast."   It was cool to be so close to a brilliant fashion Designer!!!!    I'd have to say it was cooler meeting Zac posen @ the MOMA, cause I actually could pick his brain a little bit, it was just a mob scene at her store.

I had her sign a book I bought, this is a pic is one of her designs.  All in all it was awsome.

Here is just a few runway shots.

ok its hard to put into worlds the experience of last night, and I think this is going to be the biggest blog I have ever done.

So my Friends Zahra and Anh were doing a fashion show last night.  We arrived at the warehouse @ 4ish.

Theres more to it, I just didn't take enough pictures.

SO as the models showed up there last minute fittings and try ons, coaching on model walks and what not.  I was the backstage bitch for the night. (Zahra didn't tel me about the show in time to make stuff for the event).  It was cool though I helped Anh sew on buttons, Sew down some flaps ion his capris and helped Zahra with a strap thing to hold up a bust top.  It was mad fun.

Before we knew it it was already 6:30, and we had to run over to the De Young to see our Garments on Display

Zahra's Was in a fiffernet area of the museum.

This was mine

So we got there around 7 and before we knew it it was already 8,  had a hella hard tiem getting a cad initially, but we picked up one that other clas mates arrived in.  made it back to the Mission

Pre show croud

just before the madness

and then it begins.....

a ballet teh start the show off

then the fashion...

designer 2

Then the Tango

Then Andrea (made 18 pieces, that is a lot of fucking work!!!  She Rocked it)

She even modified some shoes

Then the Peacock Butterfly Dance....

Zahras Collection, she rocked it, you'd have to hear the music with the the fashions.  not only did she design and make her fashions, but she made all the Jewelry. (except the earrings)

Then it was Anhs Turn.  His models walked fast and my cmaera wasn't so qucik.

and for the Finally (how ever the hell you spell it)

The Fire Dancing Girls

All in all it was a pretty fucking sweet ass night!!!!!!!!   I can't wait to be a part of the next one!!!!!

Ok so to my surprise......

Last Qaurter (early Oct - Dec)  our pattern drafting class had an additional Assignment called Discarded to Divine.  What it was is that you'd venture to St BVincent Depaul, and they'ed give you or you'd pick three garments and combine them to gether how ever you wanted to make a new garment.  I didn't know it was mandatory so at during the @nd to the last week our teacher was liek finish you D2D's and bring them in for next week.  So I never made it to St vincent De paul.  I ran to the Good'ol Good will and bought a Banana republic Blazer and had my way with it.  I don't have the final picture I don't know where it went. out of i think 30 they picked 20  and I'm in the D2D exhibit @ the De Young Museum in Golden Gate park.

I'll post pics later.  I hope they apired it with a pair of Sevens.

Ok I have to design a 58 piece collection

4 Groups (12 pieces in each)

1 Bonus group (10 Pieces)

Its for my portfolio class, and I have to have it look really good.  I have a theme in mind its 'PrimCasso' (Preppy Picasso).  I want funky polos with crazy skirts , but not crazy enough for couture, stuff you'd actually wear.  Curved seam lines met with striaght lines, you name it.

What do you think?  If you have any Ideas or suggestions let me know.
