ok have to make this one quick, 1st pic is one of my pieces for collection dvelopment, which I have to say our groups was the shit, the only group of 3 (which meant we had a 15 pices collection) all of our garments worked with each other, and I am so fucking glad the class is over!!!

this is the collage for our collection, changed from the first one, less chaotic.

P.S. Rachel Weisz is so Fucking Hot!!!!!
and I have this one in my "view more pics" but it does it no justice in there, this is it close to real size, and let me tell you it is no easy art, this alone took 8 hours (cumulative).

This may look familiar, atleast the flats. I used them from the Spy Agent project (time is valuble and so I recycled, just the flats). This assignment requires you to have 12 Flats, but you double those flats, so you have a total of 24, the idea of the assignment is put the 24 into two groups. One high end (Nieman Marcus / Boutique) and one low end (like target). The reason for this is if you were going to design a high end line and a low end line you can still have the pieces work together. like I mentioned before, with out trying to sound like a nerd, Illustrator is a life savor and is a key tool for fashion design, its not easy in the sense of click click you done, once you master that you find yourself going crazy wil fills, and shaopes and you ahve to pull away (other homework to do). My favorite one is in group one with the buddha.
Group 1 High end
Group 2 Moderate
let me know what you think...
P.S. the resolutions is shitty, No web hosting site will upload Adobe Docs. the quality is much better, trust.

Resnin is my brand name, doesn't have a meaning, just though it sounded cool.

Mixed media assignment, used a phone book page instead of her original ad imaged dress

Before I could sew well, this is a funky lil clutch.

Nobody understands this one, I think its funny! Its supposed to be that the chic in green is angry at the one in blue. Its two girls from one add placed on another.

Random Sketch

This one is called 'Journey' Its about a class fieldtrip to the yurba buena center for the arts, odd ass art in there but very interesting.

this is chaotic

another random fashion art idea...
and last but not least this is a cool collage, you can't tell since its scanned and flat, but the black and red pieces are actually cut out, and placed on, better in person.

Here is my Final Project for the class, and I have to say going into this class I was unsure. I can draw just fine without computers, but the quality and accuracy is just too damn good. Plus it cuts down on time it takes to make flats, and if you know anything about fashion design flats are a pain the the arse! All you have to do is draw half of it and flip it, unless you have some design over lap like the red jacket below, but even then to do the back view was really easy. So I guess the moral of this blog is that if your persuing a fashion design career or not, you need to get photoshop and illustrator and design till your hearts content. Have fun!

Ok so my Mom made me a scrap book for my birthday, and to my surprise she kept tons of my artwork from way back since kindergarden. some of them I thought were long gone...
judging from the writing below this drawing I'd say 3rd grade
Card i made with origami, probably 4thgrade
2nd
6th
8th grade, everyone asked me for a copy, lol. They were cool back then and all three were alive.
9th
9th
10th

These are old assignments from school

This was an insparation from a predictive, you'd have to see it to understand his pose. '03
'04
'04
'03 This one is a mixed media assigment, lost the original pic, but you weren't allowed to draw the image just recreate however you wanted.
So the moral of this blog I guess, is that don't say you can't draw, you can. Practice makes perfect (not that they are).

ok so one assignment was to create a small line of Alpaca (kinda of like a lama but not, in the same genuis I think) So everyone wne t all out with the fabric all over there garments, like full Alpaca sweaters and everything. So I went with Alpacae trims and my theme board is vertical of beign falt liek the rest but oh well fuck it, it needed to be vertical. The theme is work and play, we all work but love to play (naked but clothed) (Business but Casual).
