Hey y'all, just checking in, letting you know we're still alive:) We just returned from New York City after playing a huge showcase at the Mercury Lounge for a handful of major record labels. Great night, packed house, everything went perfect. Had the chance to play with a couple of amazing musicians this time around...Nicholas Bacon on lead guitar and Jimmy Riot on bass. Check 'em out - they're on our top friends list on our profile. Definitely great guys to perform with and hopefully will be the ones who round us out as our touring band. We'll be posting some video of all of us rehearsing very soon. Keep checking back to our site for the good word. Bottom line, we rocked the house in NYC last week - good times for sure y'all!

FYI, we'll be back in Des Moines at the Arts Festival this coming Saturday, June 28th - stop by the US Cellular stage as we perform from 1:30-3pm in the afternoon. As a perk this year with all of the bands performing at the Arts Fest, US Cellular is offering FREE ringtones from all the bands throughout the weekend! Our song, "Circles", will be available as a free ringtone so make sure to check that out.

Also, pick up a copy of CORE magazine as it's out on local Des Moines stands now and includes a great 2-page spread of yours truly. Check back here as we'll be posting photos and vids from our most recent NYC trip.

And last but not least, make sure to mark on your calendars our show at Java Joe's 4th St Theatre on Saturday July 12th. Admission is free and all who attend will receive a FREE copy of our 2003 release, Trip The Light Fantastic. We no longer sell that album but thought we'd hook up the folks that would dig a copy of some early Little Mojo.

What a rollercoaster and whirlwind the past 24 hours! We were asked about 4 hours prior to the show to open for one of my biggest musical influences, Blind Melon. Incredible show and an amazing opportunity to share the stage with those guys. Never would I have imagined when I was back in high school, listening to Blind Melon albums on cassette tapes, that we would someday get the chance to not only meet them but open the show. Crazy fun and they were all really cool guys.

It's wild because I always hear folks say that they remember where they were and what they were doing when JFK was shot. I remember exactly where I was at the time I heard on the radio that Shannon Hoon had passed away. Sitting in the old Tait's parking lot in Beaverdale in my el camino, on a Sunday morning while it was raining...getting change out of my car console to run into Tait's to get a donut. It shocked me to the core to hear he had died but I've been forever grateful to the music they made and the music that still lives on through the band members and the new singer.

Anyway, to those of you that were at People's last night, what an amazing memory to hold on to. We definitely always will. Rock n Roll, Josh

We FINALLY have a new record coming out right around Christmas! We will be releasing a 6-song EP featuring new songs such as "Circles" and "Crash & Burn" on an album that is sort of a preview CD for our full-length release that will be out later next year. This new EP is entitled "Inside Bleeding Out" and will be available at our shows and also at CDBaby.com. Ordering info for CDBaby will be posted later this month on our MySpace in case you're interested in purchasing this new record in time for Christmas.

There is a CD release party scheduled for Saturday, December 29th, 2007 at 9pm at Java Joe's in downtown Des Moines (214 4th St in the Court Ave District). "Inside Bleeding Out" will be available that night for only $5! Come out and pick up the new CD and catch us live that night @ 9pm.

In other news, Little Mojo is flying back out to New York City later this November to work with acclaimed producer Kenny Gioia on a few new songs that will be on our full-length nationwide release in late 2008. Kenny has worked with Mandy Moore, LFO, Marcy Playground, Brooke Hogan, and a list of other artists so we're very fortunate to have this opportunity to work with him on some new songs. We will be flying back to Des Moines in time for our December 29th CD release party/show and would love to catch you there!

One more quick note, check out some new photos as we recently posted a few from our photoshoot for "Inside Bleeding Out." Remember, check out our MySpace for all of the info regarding this new CD and we look forward to seeing you at 9pm on Saturday, December 29th at Java Joe's!
Also, catch us on Capital 106.3 FM this Saturday Nov, 10th at 10pm as they will be airing an instudio performance we recently taped at the station.
