I know not everyone might agree with me on everything that I do and do not believe in. Actually, I'm more than aware that not everyone will and there are people who will not even tolerate my type of thinking. Regardless of what anyone says, I think what I do and I believe what I do and there is no changing that unless some outside source influences me well enough to change my ways.I am God-Free: The beginning.
I don't remember how long ago it was anymore. I know I was a younger and I had no understanding of anything. It could've been three years ago? Maybe four? No matter how long ago it was it does not matter.
I went through many phases in my lifetime and I expect many more. At this time, I didn't know what I wanted out of life so I jumped at any opprotunity that was somewhat appealing. One that greatly influenced my religious views was my great want to convert to Judaism. I don't know what attracted me to it, but it seemed to be so amazing at the time. I just knew I wanted to do it and be happy. But of course, during this phase, there were obstacles that were difficult to overcome. I don't really remember much from this time of my life but what I do remember was the crap I got from my mother. She was absolutely against it. She didn't care about what I wanted or thought was best, she wanted what she wanted and she got it for a while. I was put down in so many ways by her with this. She told me so many discouraging things around here. I was put off by it and I hated it. Yeah, of course I was going to hate it, but who likes to be told that they can't do something because it's "not right" and all this other bullshit. All the trouble she gave me made me open my eyes and take a good look at what I was dealing with. Many weeks of contemplation later gave me the realisation that I didn't really buy the whole God thing. I didn't understand any of what was being put in front of me because my brain doesn't like to analyse stuff without some sort of proof. That's when I started to question, that's when I started to wonder, that's when I knew I had made up my mind.
Circa 2005: "too little to think like that!"I have my right to believe whatever I want because the country that I live in gives me this opprotunity;
Freedom of speech, press and religion, oui?
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pretty sure that this is a form of religion. I shouldn't have to abide to any of these "rules" that this so-called God has put upon the many people in this world that follow. I do not need a mystical being, who I have not met and who I will not meet, to tell me how to have morals, ethics, and good judgement. It's common sense, not neuroscience. 'The Ten Commandments' is an example of this:
• I am the Lord your God • Thou shall have no other gods before me • Thou shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God • Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy • Honor your father and mother • Thou shall not kill • Thou shall not commit adultery • Thou shall not steal • Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor • Thou shall not covet your neighbor's wife • Thou shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighborI'm pretty sure many people know, on their own, that doing some of these things are wrong. Id est; 'thou shall not kill.' Although, no matter how hard you try to believe you have not, everyone has killed something at one point. Even if you save that spider in the bathtub that Sally wanted to smoosh because you refuse to kill anything, you still have! I assume you've taken a step outdoors? There are miniscule bugs out there that you can see that you kill with each step or when you blow your nose and get better from being sick when you kill bateria, viruses, and germs. I'm pretty sure that this God guy loved all things big and small, even bugs. To say that we shall not kill and promise is a bit out of line because we cannot avoid it. At least if you were to be thinking on your own, you wouldn't be tripping over your own feet trying to not kill anything. You would just know better than to kill someone or whatever you feel is important.
Another one that I feel I should mention is 'Honor your mother and father'. You know, isn't it kind of rude to say that in a list of COMMANDments? There are indeed people who have legitimate reason to not honor their parents and/or do not have respect for them. Like if one of their parents left them when they were young or committed multiple crimes that they are ashamed of and have no reason to have any feeling for them but pity and hatred. No being should have any say in how we feel towards the family that we were placed in because it is our own feeling and personal and no one should have the right to make anyone feel any different than what they feel they should.
Aside from the first three of the ten, these things and many others should all come from common sense.
Maybe, just maybe, man is gullible when in doubt. Why does anyone believe this? Why do they follow it with every ounce of their life? How can they believe it? I cannot fathom why anyone would! I know of many individuals who base their whole life one simple thing; a book. A book. If I were to do the same with some other book, would not I be considered crazy? What if this book was so lifechanging and there were other people who agreed with me and felt the exact same, would not we still be considered crazy? It's the same thing. If we were extremists and we carried out this action to our deaths and taught it to our children and they felt the same and then eventually would teach it to their children and continue through the generations ad infinitum and it pulled through like this, wouldn't it still be a bunch of bullshit from a book that years ago people thought others were crazy for following? Isn't it still bullshit? I think so.
If I said that last week when I went fishing I fell off my boat but landed on my feet and walked on water back to the boat, would you believe me? Would you believe it if it happened ten years ago instead because it was further back in the past, so much further to the point where it can't be confirmed and you'll just have to assume it did indeed happen? Would you believe it if, since it happened ten years ago, I wrote it in a book? I mean it's a book! Aren't all books reliable sources? Would you believe it if, since this is in a book that was written because it happened ten years ago, the book was actually written by people who witnessed it? When you confronted those who witnessed it, assuming that they are still alive, and they totally and completely go with it, do you believe it?
I wouldn't. I don't care how many people say they saw it, it's still bullshit. I still can't believe it. The only way I can is if it were replicated or proven scientifically.
Yeah, I'm one of them..
I have one last thing to address: How in fuck can the creation of the universe have happened by one being? Just because he's this godly figure? I think not. If he did, why did he make other planets? Why did he create this universe? Why did he make people? Why did he make people so curious and make them want to mess with life on other planets? Don't you think that if one soul did create this whole universe, they would've either made no other planets or lessened the amount of curiousity found in people or make it easier to find out for sure? Something to make the life easier so there's less to call upon him for?
The big bang theory sounds nice to me.
So, if you've read this whole entire thing, I am pleasantly surprised. I'm sorry if something in here might've offtended you. If so, OH WELL. If not, more to ya. Too bad your negative opinion won't change my thinking :D
Then there was this quote I found: “Is god willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able, and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” -Epicurus
It spoke to me, it did. Does that tell you something?

Version 1.0 Build 1.01 please keep in mind that this was an old post but I keep it to watch my progressive opinion.
I bet you're all like "what the fuck? why do you hate vegatarians"Well, They really do nothing. Except not eat meat. Ask any vegatarian. if they like milk, if they don't like it, ask them why they don't go vegan? Because they like other animal made things, Like butter, or cheese, or yogurt. Things they can't give up. Why would you give up things like bacon, or pork, things like that, if you don't want to stretch as far as dairy? Honestly, I don't understand them. They boycott meat. Big deal, if they don't buy it, 5 other people would be more than willing to. Things like peta.com, don't do anything. "OH NO! A WEBSITE HAS MOVIES OF HOW I GET MY FOOD." That doesn't change the minds of the people watching how they eat. Those movies are just depressing. And half the time, they're movies about how people use animals for testing, not food. An example would be the movie I recently saw on how some makeup company used cats to put makeup on them. Alot of people who are vegatarian watch movies like that, and hope that discontinuing the consumtion of meat will save the animals being tested for cosmetic items. DO YOU WANT TO SAVE THESE ANIMALS? save your money. buy the meat places And stop production. Not complain to non-vegatarian people to stop eating meat. i hope I made a point, if you dislike this, thats amazing. That's just how i feel.
