Matchbox Twenty has cut a new single and it is on their profile  for you to hear it.  The song is titled  "How Far We've Come"

I've recently starte working on some black scratchboards, and I will post the progressive scans to the collection found in the player below.It's my first image work on black clayboards.  I have done some border engravings on them in the past but never a full image.  It is a reverse picture.  Instead of putting the image on the surface... you remove the black from the surface to uncover an image.  So it is a challenge to do a detailed piece.  Wish me well.

So, if you have been wondering where I've been, I've been hanging around Barton Town with my cool cartoon Avatars. They recently added avatar exporters and granted permission to use our avatars on other sites.  The site is totally free and is an entire game.  Everyone starts off with a basic avatar and a small wardrobe.  You get gold for doing everything on the site, which you can use to purchase different wardrobes or furniture.  We all get a free house with basic starter furniture: a bed, a table, lamp, rug, fridge, and a stuffed chair. You can totally visit other peoples houses in the towns and you can walk around the neighbor hoods and chat with people if you like.  Since it is a fantasy and role playing community, some of the conversations are specific to certain groups and I don't know what the heck they are talking about.

But there are Forums and Guilds, everyone gets a profile page and journal.

The neatest thing is that since it is focused on anime characters and art that you find many talented artist both very young and some very talented artists.  I'm excited about it because I got the motivation to pick u the pencils again and did a new drawing. I had a very hard time wanting to do art again after losing everything. The pictures you have seen up until now are all old drawings and old paintings. but, I have started new drawings and cartoons since, I found the other site and I will be adding new art  here in the very new future.  If you are already on gaia look me up under debraford123.  If you aren't a member and wanted to check it out I put a link in the banner above.

How to successfully put a Youtube Video into your Myspace Blog 

Go to the Blog section and start a new blog like normal. There is a little box at the lower left hand corner of the editing box to show the code called "View Source" . Check/click on the box. Once you are in the html editing mode paste your code in the editing panel. Now sometimes Youtube code doesn't properly take so if you remove everything before the embed section like the object start and finish it will take the code. You can completely get rid of the parameters section and the object section. The art you want to use starts with the "<" right before the word embed and end with the ">" right after the "/embed" . And your code should then work in the blog.  In other words your code should start with the open embed and end the close with the close embed.  This is because many blogs do not support the use of "objects".  If you put the code with objects and parameters on a web page and you have trails of codes showing you can do the same thing to get rid of the trails.    - debraford123 -

Additional videos I find may be saved to My Video favorites which you can get through on my profile page next to the pics option.  I only post MySpace Videos to public feed if the video is uploaded onto the account of the music artist.  Other videos posted by user accounts will only get posted to friends only post or elese they just remain in my favorites for you to find.

The account with the email trouble has been repaired by Removing Pictures "infected with a Virus."  I also found some of the Virus pictures on this account even though the mail still functioned here the codes were already attached to pictures after I uploaded them. So you could have infected pictures and not have any signs of it. 

Viruses have been added to people's pictures that they have uploaded to MySpace.  It's not all the pictures and is not all accounts.  But, if you have lost your control of your email account you want to do this for sure.  I regained my email account this morning after getting a bulletin and following the instructions.

This may also be a means of entry to create other problems so you want will want to check this out and make a copy of  it for future reference.  Signs you might have problems is if you get one of those active x boxes show up for a few days and then goes away on it's own.  I'm adding that because I remember that the person who I got the bulletin from had an active x box on her page some months back even though I had the updated software patches.  And both we sent reports to myspace about the problems.  Anyway below is a coy of the instructions:From the bulletin.

How to Remove Viruses from your MySpace Pictures and get your email back

Below are instructions to see if your profile has been hacked. When I did this I found 3 fake pictures attached to my profile. Then when I changed everything, they had already attached another.

So this is something you would need to closely monitor and watch on a regular basis.

Just follow these steps below to see if you have been hacked:

Subject: Removing the picture virus

Body: First to see if you have it:

- Go in to "Edit Profile"

- Select "Safe Edit Mode" (in the top right corner)

- Select "Images" (third tab)

- Look to see if you have any strange pics on the left hand side. The x's are okay...

- If you have a strange pic of a person or animal that is not you, count down from the top or up from the bottom to see what number of your pics is infected

- Go in to your main page and select "Add/Change pics"

- Find the matching number pic that the virus was on and delete it. (you will not see anything strange when you view your own pics, unless in safe mode) I also saved my pic to file before deleting it and changed the pic name.(NOTE: Do NOT Save the INFECTED Picture To File  That is a mistake you would then be putting the picture with the virus attached in your files and your temp storage on your computer and then you would be reuploading the virus yourself - note added by debraford123)

- Go back into safe mode and make sure all the strange pics are gone. Again, the x's are okay.

- Change your password!!!

- Upload the deleted pics again from your computer.

- Double check and make sure in safe mode that all is okay"

My own added notes:

If all the pictures look like little boxes with red x's in them your pictures are fine and you don't have to worry.

You absolutely need to check from the top down. If you go to the last picture with a problem and delete it then the virus moves up to the one above it.  I don't know why but it did. 

After you get to the images tab in safe edit mode, open your home page in a separate window and go to your add/edit  pictures section.  You can leave the edit pictures section open at the same time as you have safe mode open.  After you delete the infected pictures one by one refresh the safe edit page where you have the infected pictures.  They should disappear upon refresh.  If it's still there you deleted the wrong one.

Immediately change your password.  Remember to write it down and keep it in a safe place until you have memorized it.  Sure you are certain that you won't forget, but it happens.  That's why all sites have that famous question "Forgot your password?"

Right after deleting 5 infected photos and changing my password I logged out and relogged in with the new password.  It is important for you to log out right after.  If, (and I'm pretty sure this is the case) the virus causes automated actions, and you do not log out then the bots that are sending automated commands are still active and can still do damage.  So please log out and relogin with your new password before you do anything else.

It is important to get this message to your friends.  If your friend have infected photos and put them as their default photos, depending on what commands are associated with the particular virus definition you could be vulnerable just having those pictures show up on your profile even if it is only in a comment. 

It is recommended that you subscribe to this blog at http://blog.myspace.com/theclulesswonder  because I will post solutions to problems as I find out they really do work.  If you subscribe you can set the subscription inn the blog page to NOT send mail messages with each and every blog entry, because that can be a big pain.  Or if you have an rss feeder you can subscribe and you will get the titles and a short snippet of the first few lines, so you won't have to check topics that don't interest you.

Think twice about downloading pictures from other people's "pics" because there is no way to know which are infected with viruses in the myspace pictures.  There were 5 infected pictures in my other account at http://www.myspace.com/debraford123  and 8 infected here at the 123codetester's profile.  I have removed them and now I have access to my out going mail for the first time in months.  It was active immediately after deleting the pictures and relogging in with my new password.  The Bee Bridge account had no viruses in the pictures.   If you know someone who says they can't send mail, if it is like mine they can recieve mail.  Send them a copy of the instructions so that they can fix their accounts.  Be a friend.  or just send them a link to this blog. Or post a bulletin or copy this to your blog.  be my guest. Do something.

Masters of Spin Video

I put this blog category in Music, but,  it really should be called sports. If this doesn't require physical fitness then nothing does. These young men spin on their heads and the palms of their hands. The only other people who can spin this much, this fast are ice skaters or ballerinas. With the help my buddy Tom, who always gives me links to cool sites, I found this video at glumbert.com which is a site that challenges people to send in funnier or more outrageous videos that they have already on file. http://www.glumbert.com/media/masterspin  

Normally, I would have put the video here and posted it for freinds viewing instead of a public posting.  Unfortunately, recent changes here causes certain embeds to be "auto edited" when submitting a post. sometimes the quotation marks are missing out of the code after posting leaving a blank so even though you could see the embed during the preview.  Other times the embed shows up as an object, even though I personally remove the object code, to enable posting.  A blog will not handle objects. 

Understanding that there have been recent problems on the site, especially with the use of quicktime, there may be many new changes which are actually for our protection.  As we can tell that a site has an embed we might not know exactly what is code is embedded. on the other end.  Raised awareness to the possible threats also raises the amount of restrictions.  When you have more than 100 million accounts to deal with  and one person can affect millions of people, you have to make those sort of choices. 

So, for now, videos will be limited to the bulletins  (I have a feeling that will change too).
