It was a very memorable Halloween last weekend in Toronto. Dame Shirley was the headline act at Fashion sCares, a glittering charity event held in aid of canadian HIV/AIDS charity ACT. The Dame was overwhelmed and delighted by the wonderful reception she received from the superb audience at one of her first major public appearances since her illness earlier this year.

She looks amazing for a 71 year old and that voice. She got the crowd standing and dancing. She finished off with Big Spender, twice. It was fantastic." (blogto.com)
