A crisp aroma of citrus zest greets the nose and then leads your senses into a sparkling potpourri of nuts, vanilla, cherries, and nutmeg. Unbelievably rich and well-rounded, the cup finishes long with notes of brown sugar, licorice root, and black walnut.
Flecha Roja--, Costa Rica -
An impressively clean and confident coffee, with a refreshing level of acidity that cuts across layers of chocolate, caramel and nougat. A cheerful splash of honey coated apple sits comfortably in the center of the cup, adding a pleasing crispness. Trim in body but rich in spirit, the Flecha Roja is a classic Costa Rican coffee with an extra dose of verve.
Flor Azul--, Nicaragua- Out of Season
Sweet and especially gentle, with delicate apricot and honeydew flavor notes. The body is supportive but not overbearing, making this an excellent coffee to enjoy over an extended sitting. Pleasing nougat and fruit persist through the finish and fade quickly, leaving just a trace of flavor on the tongue and inviting the next sip.
Fazenda Vista Alegre, Brazil Natural Dry - out of season
Larger than life and full of fire, the coffee of the Fazenda Vista Alegre Estate in Brazil offers flavor notes of black walnut, dark cherry, and aged tobacco to form a taste that is at once distinctive and dramatic. With a full body and tons of zing, Fazenda Vista Alegre is definitely not for the meek.
La Tortuga--, Honduras
"Action-packed" only begins to describe the Tortuga experience. This is truly one of the most intriguing Central American coffees out there, dense with flavor notes that range from Concord grape to currant to tamarind. The body is huge and creamy, and the finish resolves itself confidently with some residual black cherry and spice. There is a sense of intrigue with this coffee, as if one could continue peeling back layers of flavor without ever knowing the whole story. A tremendously satisfying taste experience!

Some of the highest-grown coffee in Latin America, El Salvador offers a bright yet harmoniously balanced cup with notes of ripe pear and jasmine and a compelling maple-like sweetness. Very impressive. Drink it and enjoy the "loveful" heights. World exclusive Intelligentsia mark.
La Perla de Oaxaca--, Organic Mexico
Gentle fruit notes mingle with a slight nuttiness in this complex and aromatic gem from the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. Medium-bodied and balanced, with a milk chocolate sweetness that is characteristic of coffees from this region. These beans from three small farmer cooperatives possess a beauty in the cup that mirrors the pristine, heavily forested slopes which produce it. World-exclusive Intelligentsia mark. Cruz del Sur--, Organic Peru - Out of Season
Sweet and delicate fruit combined with notes of semi-sweet chocolate are what make this coffee go. The flavors are held together cleanly and without interference—seamless and refreshing. The acidity is buoyant and round, and the satiny body is balanced and supportive while maintaining a pleasant sense of levity.

This world exclusive coffee is the result of a collaboration between Intelligentsia and farms in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. Blazingly vibrant, medium-bodied with swashbuckling complexity, this lovely bean is loaded with ripe fruit and chocolate notes delivered in a most graceful fashion.

Idido Misty Valley Natural, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe - Out of season
A coffee for those who love fruit and zest, the Idido saturates the palate with flavors reminiscent of candied fruit, wild berry, and grape jelly. An especially full and syrupy body provides a great playground for all of the flavors, and adds to the coffee's distinct dessert-like character.
Ethiopia Yergacheffe
One of the finest East African beans we've ever tasted, Ethiopia Yergacheffe offers a striking, well-balanced cup with lively acidity. A hint of poppyseed lingers briefly before revealing a delicious lemongrass sweetness in the finish. Exciting and surprisingly smooth, with a touch of citrus, this bean makes an excellent dessert coffee fit for the king of kings.
Ethiopia Harrar - Out of Season
A complex and immensely flavorful coffee with a sculptured body and potent blueberry notes that seem to leap right our of the cup. Its distinguished character reflects the ancient nobility of Ethiopia, the birthplace of all Arabica coffee.

Powerful, pristine, and profoundly vibrant, Kenya has a full body and sparkling citrus and floral character laden with notes of black currant, pear, and white grapefruit delivered assuredly and with unparalleled grace. One of the most intensely aromatic coffees.

This wonderful full-bodied African coffee has an enticing, lively acidity with a generous sweet snap. Blackberry and plum mingle with a tinge of chocolate, finishing with a bright, clean flavor that we find decidedly refreshing.

This is a great example of what you should learn to expect from the 'Land of 1,000 Hills'. Soft dark fruit and berry notes are the hallmark of the cup, with a profound and lasting sweetness and a lively, supple character that finishes as smoothly as it begins.

A combination of high-grown Latin American beans provide this blend with a pleasant sparkle, hints of spice, and delicate fruit notes. El Gallo is medium-bodied and bright, with a superb smoothness that makes it a great morning brew.
La Corona Competition Blend - Out of Stock
Special Offering: Our showcase blend for our competition coffee purchases. In this blend you will find coffees from Cup of Excellence, Crop of Gold, Best of Panama and other contest winners. Much like a zinfandel, La Corona has a subtle but firm acidity and an intensely sweet finish. Hints of nougat, marzipan and chocolate balanced with strong fruit notes of apple, pear and white grapes. The coffee comes together with a creamy, buttery body, making a perfectly balanced and well rounded cup.

New Guinea
With seedlings from the Jamaica Blue Mountain region, cultivation of coffee began in Papua New Guinea in the late 30's. It offers a full, syrupy body, balanced snappy acidity, and wonderful complexity. Some say it is reminiscent of what Jamaica Blue Mountain used to taste like.
Sulawesi
Sulawesi is a close relative of Sumatra. It possesses a full, rich and buttery body, well-balanced acidity with sweet, woody, herbal, and nutty flavor notes. It is complex, refined, and pleasantly aromatic. A truly elegant coffee.
Sumatra
One of the heaviest-bodied coffees we carry, Sumatra fills up the cup with its tremendous heft and deep herbal character. Known for a comforting earthiness and syrupy sweetness that incorporates elements of wood, nut and just a wisp of smokiness, this Indonesian delight is perfrect for those who prefer darker coffees with more bass than treble.
