I went to a party tonight. it was great.. a lot of people that I've hung out with since I've been at Ball State.

I did something stupid though. I took a decongestant before I went. I got it for my ears because they need drained (my ear issues are back... where I can't hear bass from my left ear... makes me kind of sad). Anyway, decongestant + beer = not good. Everyone was freaking out because I was so pale. My lips were even white. Fortunately Liz took care of me. She made me eat something.

She's my best friend. and she shows me why all the time.


Assuming I do well on my Media Law final, I graduate in 2 weeks.

Tomorrow, I DJ at ICE in downtown Indy.

And I'm still looking for a web development or design job in Indy.

I am confident that Indiana would be a bigger music hub if the liqour laws were changed to allow people into clubs at 18.

Indiana law says that you must be 21 to enter an establishment that sells liqour.

In most other states, you only have to be 18, and are marked or banded to prove age.


f'n Indiana....

Well, a week ago I had an ear ache in my left ear... out of nowhere. I woke up and there it was. I hadn't been to anything loud in at least 3 days.

Then this past weekend voices started sounding funny. I could hear people fine but low frequencies had an electric kind of sound to it...

And now I can't hear bass at all out of my left ear and have a hum. A week after it started.

So I'm about to head to the death center here at BSU.

I hope I havne't suffered anything permanent.

Think about what I do in my free time:
DJing (about 70 times so far in 2006)
Concert Photography (I've shot probably a dozen shows in the past few months... and photo pits are usually right in front of the stage, right in front of the monitors).

*crosses fingers*

.... either way I'm buying some nice ear plugs. I just bought new headphones to replace my sucky ones (they don't filter out other noise, so I have to turn them up higher).

The showcase takes place Friday, August 11 at Indy CD & Vinyl starting at 12:30pm and lasting until 9pm. RMR Editor Jack "DJ Jackola" Shepler will be spinning between sets!
