A new experience for me. Moving to a place where I can actually get lost. We went last week to check out the area and find a new place...and here are the results:
CURRENT: NEW:
Townhouse Townhouse
Aventura Columbus
1/1 2/2.5
880 sq ft 1600 sq ft
$1435 $895
Can you even believe that? Its amazingly cheap. AND...they have seasons. The leaves had turned shades of red, orange, and yellow that captivates me. There are hills rolling all throughout the town...as opposed to our manmade hills here we call landfills. The people are so nice...as opposed to...oh well, I won't go there. Its a bit country...buuuuut, thats allright. There is NO TRAFFIC...and everything is incredibly cheap. Everything I need is not too far away, which is nice! (Starbucks=3 miles)
I do fear being so far away from everything I've ever known...but life leads us in directions for a reason. Out quality of life will be much greater than any we could hope for here. And, all in all...its not THAT far away...
I hope that I won't get the chance to miss anyone...because I will be an hour from Atlanta...so that should be a friend-drawer :) We have a guest bedroom! So come on up!
I've been absent the social scene the past few months with the wedding, the company, the marriage, the move...but I hope to keep in contact as best I can with you all :)
And so I leave you all...but not forever. We're moving on Dec 27th...and I shall try to see everyone before I go!

Fuck most people.
You know?
No specific reason....or maybe tons of tiny ones...with a few biggies thrown in there.
But I'm sure you know what I mean. If you're NOT one of those I'm referring to...then you will :)

Current mood: cynical
Six years ago, something much worse happened than all of those people in the twin towers perishing. The American people were robbed of their freedom...and they were robbed of the truth.
It was a travesty beyond words...beyond comprehension. My friend Jay worked in the second tower. He was on the 72nd floor...and thankfully he lives today. He lives in pain, in shock, and in terror. And worse, he knows that what "they" said happened probably isn't the truth, but he simply cannot bare the thought of what the truth might be. I accept this, for him....but not for most. Certainly not for myself...
Seek the truth.

I find myself to be so very lucky. For all the pain I've caused in life, I have endured far worse. And yet if it were not for that pain and misery I felt for years, I would not have been able to be in the place I was in when the love of my life found me.
Last year was very difficult for me...as I lost three of my very very best friends.I never thought I would recover...and yet, still with so many questions left unanswered, the pain remains. It will always be there, however my joy can only greatly exceed any sorrow I feel for loved ones lost. For all in all, the truly loved ones can never be lost. I have friends in my life that I have known for over half of my lifespan...and this is truly incredible. I am grateful for those friends that have always understood...and whom I have always understood. I am grateful for the friends that I don't talk to or see very often yet never question our friendship. I am grateful for the greatest love I never knew could exist...at least, not for me. And so, today shall be my Thanksgiving I suppose...in saying Thank You to those that know I'm speaking directly to in this internet letter.
I am blessed, this I know....because of you.

WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!
We have finally moved to Aventura :) No more North Miami....ghettofabulousness! We live in this awesome townhouse with a garage and a washer/dryer...and no noise...no sirens every 4 minutes, no ghetto ass people fighting at all hours...ohhhhhh...the joy!
However...the packing sucked. Moving was good because I hired movers (THANKS TONY xoxo) and....the unpacking has sucked thus far...but we have the day tomorrow to get more done :)
Now we live closer to the Whole Foods we shop at...and right behind the mall...
Promenade at Aventura... oooo lovely!
Ahhhh....time to do some more unpacking :) xoxo to all...
