Every first Saturday of the month Michael McElrath welcomes singers, songwriters, musicians and poets to participate in an afternoon of creativity.
New performers welcomed and encouraged...seasoned professionals try out new material and share lessons learned.
Non-performing audience welcomed to add to this supportive event at the artists workshop in historic elliot park.

Writers Anonymous comes together twice a month, the first and third Saturday of each month. At request of some writers, we've changed the time to 1:00 pm,
The focus of Writers Anonymous will be to review and revise our own work through peer feedback and to "warm up" our creative side so we'll continue writing and creating our art. We'll discuss participants' pieces that you want to share to gain some fresh ideas and we plan to allot time each week for a writing exercise to keep our minds sharp and our pens flowing.
Any genre of writer is welcome, from screenplays to poetry. Please keep prose to under four pages to allow more thorough feedback. You'll be encouraged to bring the next part of your story to the following meeting.

A time...not so long ago...two blondes discovered each other through a music website guestbook hosted by a Minnesota guitar player who's passion was for famous (and not so famous) bands from Minnesota. One sat at a house in south Minneapolis and the other had a home in Encino California. Both were business women, both were writers, both had lived the lifestyle of "wives to rock and roll".
