So... here's a story I've been writing.
Maggie wandered the streets of Downtown Phoenix, reflecting back on the night's events. Her bright red hair now a dark, moppy mess atop her head. Had she really just seen that? The question drifted through her mind, like an irritating fly, as cars sped past and filthy strangers called out obscenities to her. Not only had she just walked in on her brother fucking her fiancé in their hotel room, but now she was wandering a city she knew nothing about. Alone. A man in a red sports car drove slowly alongside her, a half-smoked cigarette hanging from his rotting teeth, "Hey, sweet thing, you wanna take a ride in my car? You look down, I'll take real good care 'a you…" With that, Maggie pulled out her hand gun and told him to leave her the FUCK alone. The grotesque man quickly rolled up his window and drove off, mumbling something like, "Crazy bitch!"---

Robert pulled on his pants and ran out the hotel room door. "SHIT!" He shouted to the empty hallway. He'd lost sight of his sister. Alex followed close behind. Alex was Maggie's fiancé, a very tall man with long black hair, a heartbreaker upon first glance. It was only natural that Robert had fallen for him, but he had taken it too far this time, usually he left it at friendly flirting, but this was the worst. He flew down the hotel's steps, expecting to find his sister crying in the lobby... No such luck. He asked the man at the desk if he'd seen a tall slender, read-head run by, the man just pointed out the door, "She seemed very distressed, is there something the matter?"---
Art yawned and stretched her arms out to the heavens, seeming to wail like a banshee. How long had she been napping? She opened up the curtains to unveil a dark, quiet, stormy sky. Some sniffling and whimpering can be heard…Wait…Was she hearing things? She could have sworn she heard something… But she was alone… A cat maybe? Her tabby was in heat, maybe she was just making noise?
No, this was a more human sound… Crying? Art threw on her robe and walked outside, a girl was sitting at the bus stop in front of Art's house. The girl was weeping so hard that her huffs could be felt a mile away, like a big bad wolf blowing down a little pig's house. Art called out, "Excuse me? Are you OK?" The red-head jolted back to look at Art, sobbing and trying to conceal it, "W-what?" Now beside the girl, Art said in a calmer tone, "I asked if you were OK…" She sat on the bench with her. "You don't seem to be waiting for the bus… Its too late at night for that… Would you like to come inside and calm down? Sometimes it helps to put your troubles onto a stranger's shoulders. I live right behind us.
The girl gazed at her with an awkward expression on her face. "OH! No! I'm safe! I won't do anything to you. Just make you some coa coa and listen to whats troubling a sweet girl like you." Art smiled an assuring smile that said, "Don't worry, I don't bite."---
