hoooorrrraaaayyyyyyyyy holidayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!..yah yah yah! :D..2day,my holiday of 20 days starts..2 day,marks the 47th aniversary of the independence of Msia(err,btol laa 47 tahun kan?..aiseh,tak sure plak ^^")..& 2day,marks the end of the "UnrealMind Occupation"..ahahahahahah yokatta ne! ^_^..after 4 months my body & mind has been controlled by UnrealMind Interactive Berhad(dis is where i did my praktikal training),now alas dpt pon rileks..no wonder i woke up early 2day,walaupon semlm tdo lamat..no wonder yesterday i din fall asleep after lunch,which rarely happen 2 me(bese laa,tengahari + perut yg kenyang,sure lah snang tertdo kan :p) at ofis..aahh,holiday rupe2nye..at last clear pon pale otak ni from UnrealMindJavaProgrammingMidpJ2MEGames bla bla bla aarrghhh malas la nak pk lg! >_<..ahaqz..erm not dat i hate werking there@UnrealMind,honestly,i really do enjoy my training there..the nature of the job really fulfilled the criteria of my dream job - most important of all,i din haf 2 wear formal(shirts,slacks,bla bla bla) but instead i can js wear casual(jeans,cap,t-shirts,polo shirts,sneakers,etc),js wear anything lyk i'm going 4 a lecture,& i js don haf 2 worry abt ironing those formal attires..a lot of my fren when the 1st time they saw me js wearing casual,common questions dat popped out from their mouth - "eh,ko tak keje ke ari ni? cuti ke?","oo hari jumat mmg ko pakai casual ke?","ko dr mane ni?","biar bnar ko pakai camni gi keje? bos tak marah ke?" bla bla bla..ahahahahaha besh giler!..hehe..u know,normally in "hackers" movies,computer geex,game programmers,geniuses,how r their appearances? -> casual is the way baby!..tgk jek kat E3,camne developers game tu dressing time diorg announce psl game diorg yg bakal kuar kat pasaran..pakai selamba yaya je..be it the japanese,american,european programmers,sume pon pakai camtu je..ahahahahahah kewl gile..besh je..trase cam 1 of them plak :D..kalo dulu,the only profession yg pakai casual were the 1 related 2 arts,4 eg artist,cartoonist,etc,but 2day,dat is no more the case..even those in the science stream pon pakai camtu..but then,sadly,in our society here in msia,kalo diorg nampak pakai camtu g keje,mesti diorg relate kan ngan arts-related nye jobs or worse,low-class nye jobs which don require heavy usage of the brain..dang!..ah,lantak lah..dulik ape..janji aku bahagia & selesa wif my job..huhuhuh.. now the only thing i need 2 do is wait 4 the result of the training..will i pass? or will i fail?..ARGGHHH takut giler..jgn laaa fail praktikal ni..O God Almighty,help dis humble servant of urs pass the practikal training plz,amin >_<..yeah yeah,i din manage 2 fully complete the game project at UnrealMind,din haf enuff time lah @_@..but i think,comparing the amount of werx dat i haf done & the xperiences dat i got from UnrealMind wif sum of my frens werking@sum other places,i think mine is among 1 of the most-demanding job of all kot..so far i don know if any of my frens ade yg wat C/C++/Java/other low-level programming time diorg praktikal..most of them js buat keje yg agak simple2 je..according 2 the industrial training committee,"programming" is not the only objective of the praktikal training..thank god if dat's the case..ahhh lega..i think the amount of programming skill & xperience dat i acquired is more than enuff 2 fulfill the minimum criteria 2 pass the praktikal..& the supervisor of UnrealMind told us the trainees during the interview dat it was impossible 4 us 2 fail,unless if u din turn up 2 werk MANY MANY times..& dat is certainly not the case wif me,cos s far s i remember,i only absent 4 werk once je,itu pon supervisor tatau..hehe :p..so,i think,i think i met the objective of practikal training,dat is 2 get real-life werking xperience,bsides xperiences in programming "real-world" application..d only objective dat i din meet is UnrealMind's objective,dat is 2 finish the game so it is marketable thus UnrealMind will gain profits from the selling of the games..demit..menggunakan the trainees s cheap labours 2 develop games 4 them..darn it.. bsides the time-constraint,another main reason i din manage 2 finish the game completely was bcos of my lack of programming skill - i'm js not gud & fast enuff(yet..but soon dat'll change..hopefully ^^") 2 finish-up a complete & marketable game in 4 months..ark!..early in the practikal training,i din knoe how 2 ektuelli program a J2ME application & how 2 ektuelli structure the program..i olso din know dat the "paint()" function will b called automatically everytime the game loops re-starts & dat i haf 2 manually call dat function if i want anything 2 b painted on the screen..me pon at early stages structured the program in the wrong way - xtending the "Canvas class" 4 each of the classes & defined the "paint()" function in each of the classes..eventually i learned the correct way of structuring the program - i shud haf only 1 class dat xtends the "Canvas class" & dat class is the only class dat shud define "paint()"..hmm no wonder laa taleh run when i tried 2 combine the classes into 1 program..ceh..& me pon din knoe dat i can put the "if-else" tags inside "keypressed()" & "paint()" function..but eventually i learned all dat too,oldo at a very late stage >_<..so,if i eva fail(argghhh jauhkan ni from me O Almighty! oh yea dis thing happened tyme tourney saturday 31/7/2004 lepas tu..s i told in de previous journal,js b4 de 2nd fight tu,i oledi lost 50% of my confidence kan due 2 my injuries..kalo tade injury tu mmg i'm optimistic dat i can defeat him la(ehem ehem,bukan eksyen ye..hanyelah berkeyakinan,cam Naruto :D),sbb last yr pon ektuelli me mng die pon(check out de previous journal 4 more info on dis..hehe :D )..anyway,time tgh tade confidence sgt utk de 2nd fight tu,suddenly,me teringat naruto ep 93 which i've js watched a few days earlier..hehe :p..in dat ep,kabuto kene attack ngan tsunade,then kabuto nye sistem saraf jd gile sket..bile die grakkan tgn kanan,kaki kiri grak..if grakkan kaki kanan,tgn kiri grak..sumthing lyk dat la..then of course mula2 tu kabuto panic,then die tenangkan pkran,relax,& thought of the solution..so dat's exactly whut i did js b4 de 2nd fight started :D..relax,tenangkan pkran..ok umair,ur left leg is injured,so whut ru going 2 do now?..ur left leg is ur main attacking-leg,but then now it is injured,u can't really rely on ur left leg..hmm..kalo nak rely kat kaki kanan,bile me nak launch kick using de right leg,then all my body weight will be focused on my left leg,& dat hurts olrite..hmm..oraits!..i got it!..i shud use my left leg s "the starter kicking leg" which means i js use my left leg lightly je,lyk dis -> launch de 1st kick using my left leg,but tendang slow2 je,js kasi touch de opponent's vest,& then from there,in split second trus launch 2nd kick using my right leg!..dis way,my 2nd kick will b de main attack-kick which is 2 score points,& by dis way,me tak focus my body weight kat my left leg cos when me launch de 2nd kick(using my right leg),my left leg still kat udara..yosh!..next,dat usm guy was much taller than me,so i needed 2 play close-range combat,sbb kalo long-range combat sure advantage kat die,so if i use close-range tactic,then susah la die nak launch kick die sbb kaki die panjang kan..hehe..so i js combined those tactics,and..taktik berjaya!..me js repeated dat teknik sampai abeh dat 2nd fight..thank god berjaye pon mengalahkan last yr nye gold medallist tu!..hehe \/(^o^)\/..& thanx 2 naruto too,berjaya pon me menggunakan analytical & tactical skill 2 b applied in real lyfe situation!..hehe :D..alhamdulillah..hehe..nape, tak caye dis story ke?..tak caye udahhh..but really,anime(starting from db) lyk db,naruto,samurai x,ninku,etc mmg byk influenced me in martial arts..so nak kate tgk anime ni tade faedah,tak btol gak..haha whuteva :p..pape pon,tactic tu dah x dpt di apply dlm 3rd fight,sbb kaki kanan pon dah injured added wif strained muscles,so js bertahan je lah..lg pon dat 3rd opponent pon tinggi sket je from me,& he was fast too..tak mcm dat 2nd fighter,tinggi je lebih..but not s fast lah..then x dpt bertahan dah,maka terpaksa lah surrender..haha kuso! >_<..hmm saje je nak record dis thing here...kewl incident,mestilah record kan,hehe :D...

aihhh..same s last yr,me lost kat round yg if i won dat round,i could at least take a bronze medal home..adoii..10sen giler..but at least in yesterday's championship me managed 2 fight till de 3rd fighter,compared 2 last yr me js managed 2 fight till de 2nd fighter..last yr if u won dat 2nd match,u r guaranteed 2 win at least de bronze medal,but dis yr,ramai gilerr lah participants die..last yr js ade 10 uni/colleges yg participated,but dis yr ade 17 uni/colleges..so kalo nak mng bronze medal in yesterday's championship,kene mng at least the 3rd fight lah..aihh..psl laa tetibe ramai participants plak dis yr..nyusahkan org je >_<..but then,walaupon kalah in de 3rd fight yesterday(ektuelli,me menyerah kalah in de middle of de 3rd fight >_<),tp puas ati gak sbb berjaya kalahkan dat 2nd guy - chinese guy from usm(if i'm not mistaken la)..he was last yr's gold medallist,which i lost 2 him in de 2nd fight..erm,ektuelli,i din really lost 2 him,point wise i scored wif quiet a big margin compared 2 him,but then i got 6 warnings,so de rule says u r automatically disqualified if u got 6 warnings..dem..so while i was leading(my points),de fight was stopped & i was disqualified..tak gune tol..nape me dpt warnings?..aih,bukan men kotor la,when dat usm guy attacked me,then while i counter-attacked him,me pon terkebelakang sampai terkua de ring lah..& if u terkua ring,dpt lah warning..dem..so in yesterday's fight,me js made sure jgn terkua ring,& at last berjaya pon me made it clear 2 dat usm guy,hey i shud haf won last yr's fight!..ahahaha..ektuelli,b4 lwn dat usm guy tu,i told my coach 2 throw de white towel(tanda menyerah kalah lah) if i give him a sign,cos at dat time my left leg sakit gile sbb berlaga kaki in de 1st fight(fought wif a kid from angkatan tentera msia)..but then my coach js said,try not think abt de pain lah,& dat was js whut i did..& ditambah gak ngan semangat nak kalahkan dat usm guy(bcos of last yr's incident),me pon kuatkan lah semangat..berjaye pon..hehe :D..then in de 3rd fight,after struggling 4 a few minutes,then sbb both my legs dah btol2 tak tahan dah(espeshelli my left leg lah),me pon js surrendered je lah..ARGGHH nyesal gile!..sori guyz(mmu tkd guyz),cos memusnahkan harapan u all >_<(me was de only mmu fighter left in the fin category)..tp dah tak tahan gile kan :(..in dat 2nd fight,i could still relied on my right leg,but then after de 2nd fight my right leg pon dah injured dah..tu psl tak dpt bertahan dah..aihh >_<..so,i crushed my hope 2 get at least 1 medal b4 graduating..arrrhhhhhh..unless,if i participate in de coming uia & um championship,i still haf sum chance la(itu pon kalo mng la..adoii)..but then me btol2 bersemangat kalo lwn kat homeground sendiri lah..aish >_<..nape la bernasib malang je..arrghh..last yr i shud haf won,but disqualified sbb kene warnings..dis yr,terpaksa menyerah kalah sbb kaki xtremely sakit(plus my left jaw pon still aching sbb kene sepak ngan dat usm guy..hampeh nye budak)..due2 kalah kat round yg kalo mng leh dpt at least bronze medal..aihh..*termenung mengenangkan ape yg berlaku*..bile duduk2 & baring2 after dat 3rd fight,trase menyesal gile sbb menyerah kalah,but then bile try jln2,rase mcm i did de right thing..safety 1st ma..ahaha..ni nak jln pon tak btol2 ni..terdengkot-dengkot je..tu yg malas nak gi jln2 sgt,sbb nnt org ckp "aihh berlakon plak bdak ni,dah kalah dah lah"..demit!..oi org btol2 saket ah..hampas..but really,if i was in my optimum condition,i'm sure i can give a gud fight in dat 3rd fight..leh mng or not,i'm not sure,cos dat 3rd fighter pon is a gud fighter,but i'm sure dat will b a close-fight,IF,i was in my optimum condition...argghh demit i js hate de word "IF"!!..argghhh..takpe lah,janji dpt kalahkan budak dr angkatan tentera msia(yup,dat's a big deal..bdak atma maa,byk physical training,so if u win against sumone from atma,dat's sumthing maa...haha :D),& dpt sampaikan clear msg kat budak usm tu..hahaha :D..aihh,so de medal drought continues(de last time i got a medal was when i was in alpha,lost 2 a gamma guy from mmu cyber..at dat time i represented mmu mlk daa)...but then,i still think dat,if only i could turn back time..i really want 2 go back 2 de moment i was abt 2 surrender,& instead of surrendering,i will js sprayed s much the pain killer s possible,& js finish de fight..arrgghhh!!..waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :((...aihhh...ade laaa hikmah tu >_<(whut else,train harder nxt time & start training earlier,bukan last minute!...ehehehe)..& erm,yup,but i think i still learned sumthing valuable from yesterday's championship too..a lot of valuable xperiences,ektuelli...ehehe \(^o^)/

Dear brother Basel, thank you very much for having confidence in us, and we implore Allah, from the depth of our hearts, to guide Muslims to support one another in order to rescue the Muslim Ummah from the eminent danger encroaching it everywhere. As for your question, it's the duty of every Muslim to back and support his fellow Muslims everywhere. Forms of support and backing differ according to each one's circumstances and conditions. In his response to the question you raised, Dr. `Abdul-Fattah `Ashoor, professor of the Exegesis of the Qur’an at Al-Azhar University, states the following: "According to a Prophetic Hadith: “The Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim. So, he should never oppress him or hand him over (to his enemies) or forsake him (in times of difficulty)", it’s incumbent upon a Muslim to support his fellow Muslims everywhere in compliance with the Prophet’s instruction that Muslims ought to act as one body, if one of its organs ache, the other organs share the pain with fever and insomnia. It’s not proper for a Muslim to show indifference to all forms of torture and persecution that befall his Muslim brethren all over the world. Such passivity does not befit a true Muslim, whose main duty is to support and back his fellow Muslims who are in need of his help, for that is part of the articles of faith. Allah Almighty says: “And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.” (At-Tawbah: 71) It’s worth mentioning that supporting fellow Muslims is not necessary to be physical, by taking up arms against the enemy, for that may be somehow impractical sometimes, for many reasons. But it should be borne in mind that backing fellow Muslims can take a moral form, the least of which is to share their painful feelings, and implore Allah to grant them victory and alleviate their suffering.”

It is the duty of every Muslim to back oppressed Muslims in all parts of the world. No doubt that Chechens fight in defense of their lands, honor and religion, and hence they are doing one of the best kinds of Jihad in the Cause of Allah. Answering the question you raised, the eminent Muslim scholar, Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, states: "I think – Allah knows best– that the marvelous fighting carried out by our brothers in Chechnya is considered one of the best kinds of Jihad in the Cause of Allah. They fight – in defense of their lands, honor and religion – a tyrannical oppressive force, which does not fear Allah nor have mercy on any creature. There is a scholarly consensus (Ijma`) that whoever fights in defense of his religion, land and household, and is killed in that fighting, is considered a Martyr (Shahid). We all know that the people of Chechnya did not launch an attack against anyone; however they have been attacked and killed in their homes. But we are sure that Allah the Almighty will help them put their enemy to rout, grant them victory and help them gain supremacy in their lands. Allah, Exalted be He, says: “Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against them (believers) victory.” (Al-Hajj: 39) The recent days augurs victory for Chechnya, and the Promise of Allah will for sure come true soon. Allah, Exalted and Glorified be He, says, “If Allah is your helper none can overcome you...” (Al `Imran: 160)"
