Ive had a lovely week off from tour in santa monica.
There is nothing like the ocean breeze for the inspiration it blows the soul.
I love it!
So yesterday I went to hotel café and saw Terra Naomi play. She is wonderful. Check out her myspace. Her Incredible voice is matched by her likable personality and her lyrics are deep!
I am getting the writing bug again.
When I get off tour I always feel like I wake up from some sort world ive been dreaming.
Touring, fun as it is, takes up a lot of energy. Because of the amount of work it takes to adjust to the different places you find your self in from day today.. its harder to stay in touch with whats happening everywhere else in the world.
Im just explaining why its been so long since I last blogged.

I?m very glad that one of my favourite new bands, the Script, are doing so well in the uk charts. Congrats to them and look out for them if you haven't heard them already.

Other Albums to check out if you get the urge :

Brooke Fraisier : Albertine
Incredible music

Sia : Some people have real problems
She is exellent

Jessica Simpson
I'm not joking, look out for this one. I heard some of her new album and I was blown away.
Country music is what jess should have been doing all along.
When she sings these songs you feel them.

Coldplay.
Loving there new album.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

CRAZY ONES

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels. The trouble makers.
The round pegs in square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent.
They imagine.
They heal.
They explore.
They create.
They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
We make tools for these kinds of people.
While some see them as the crazy ones,
We see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Emily.

My gorgeous friend you have such a way with words and that's what will keep the whole world loving you forever because of your heart, And I really like the one when you said about the ocean breeze blowing the soul, Now that's what I call beautiful and spiritual at the same time. I can tell that God has you in his arms and watching your every movement on his green planet earth because you not just sing but your words touches every heart and soul whom you sing and perform to and for this my sweet friend what makes you a star among stars and a friend among us all. Very good blog!

Hey I'm NOT crazy. LOL
INTROVERTS OF THE WORLD UNITE !

INTROVERTS: We spend a lot of time alone. During this time we often reflect on our thoughts. We are often recognized as being creative. Status Quo? "What is that." We like to create the status quo, especially if the current one lacks depth. The Poets, The Songwriters, The Writers and such. As long as we stay in tune to reality, the reality can change. We sometimes are observed as having wheels spinning in our head. One can look at us and only imagine how much we may be pondering a subject or inventing a solution. From concept to reality. Does this make us Philosophers, Scientists, Inventors, Engineers? Very much so.
One added bonus: We love very deeply.
Hey, that blog was a compliment.

Can't go wrong with those choices Natasha :) Great ones. I'll check out Terra's music and see what I think of her.

I don't know if it's released yet, but I recommend Natalie Grant's Relentless. I heard some of the songs and they blew me away. I think you might like them.

You gave your suggestions and I will give two suggestions too ;) I think you might like them. They're two of my favorites artists at the moment, David Fonseca (http://www.myspace.com/davidfonseca) and Rita Redshoes (http://www.myspace.com/ritaredshoes ) if you have some time, I recommend you to have a listen to their music ;)

Kisses again,

While I absolutely adore your perspective and your own poetic brilliance (your gift with lyrics is one of my strongest inspirations to write) it is your humility and your willingness to shine a light on other artists that makes me truly respect you as an artist. You kick ass Natasha! And I may not sound like you, but I'll still play "I Bruise Easily" on my acoustic for a crowd...it is one of my favorite songs in the world.

Cheers Angelheart! :-)

Man i love that quote thing. Reminds me of some people i know. I knew they were cool but i didn't know they would change the world. Yea you rock of course you must get that alot. Wish you went down to South Carolina again that was awesome. I'm in school that sucks as usual lol. But i'm doing it like everyone else. Hope your having fun at the beach though. That would be awesome to hang out. I saw you on that i love the MIlennium thing on TV and it was funny to hear you say that stuff bout the years. It ROCKED lol. well hope you stay safe and cool. What about another UK band? You know, DragonForce? You're as good as they are.

Here's a bit of a song I just heard:

One dream in all of us still shining,
One star, the everlasting light,
So alone, so lost inside, to the ending paradise,
Salvation of mankind returns.

And still we save a breath for the world,
Life brings up for us all,
United, victorious, the hearts of our nation tonight.

That is not just a quote, it's also the chorus to the newest hit single A Flame for Freedom off of the new CD Ultra Beatdown out now in stores everywhere. Since the Stand Up 2 Cancer special is next Friday on the cross-networks, I'm gonna try to sing it while you and your girls are singing Just Stand Up. Good luck next week. I'm counting on you!

This is great and so true. What insight you have! I know some peoplde think I am crazy, but when a student cries from one of my poems and thanks me for the healing which took place due to feelings held in. I know in my heart I am not crazy rather blessed. Check out my blog and see my poems especially my letter to my students titles where is God. As a substitute teacher I have the honor of touching souls through my poetry and they seem like they can't get enough...Pershaps a blessing from God? I call them my angels because I love them so much...
God Bless You
