What up yall ... As I sit here watching my Oakland Raiders lose to the Miami Dolphins with my oldest son (Branden) ...I actually told him an hour ago ...'sorry for making you a Raider fan.'  Its not easy for the youngen to understand our rich tradition ...all he knows is we went to the SuperBowl 6 Seasons ago and havent been crap since ...LOL .. Story of my life.

To keep yall in the loop or the 'know' ... Im just being STILL ... I have a Radio Agent in Seattle, WAS... So Im just waiting for him to do what he does ... Still doing Comedy ...been in and out of town ..and just really 'Being Still' to see what the LORD has for me next.  What Ive noticed in this time of clarity is that GOD is not like man ...if he says something ...its done ...I often laugh at people who keep praying about the same thing ...to me its almost like you dont believe The LORD heard you the first time (and now youre bothering him) ...Im being silly but you know what I mean.

What Ive learned is that his Promise is HIS Promise ...its no one elses.... and when I tell you its so many things happening in my life that would lead to doubt ..someone tried to break in my truck a couple of Thursdays ago at Studio 72 ... Then the next day someone broke into my home ... One of my son's is going down the road of Cain!!! (and the person who broke into our home) ...and a whirlwind of other things happening at the same time ...HOLD UP ...Johnnie Lee HIggins just ran back a Punt for a TD ...were winning 15-14 with about 4 minutes left... But back to what I was saying ...I feel so confident and secure that The LORD has me that Im uncomfortably comfortable ...if that makes sense (smile) ... Its a weird feeling ...but I know Im 'GOT' ... I believe it ...and I recieve it ...I havent complained, worried or doubted ... and I EXPECT something from my GOD ...I expect it ...

If youre going through something ... dont let up on your beliefs ...and dont forget 'The Promise.'  Take Care and Stay Blessed... Oh and I dont have the faith of a Mustard Seed ...I have the faith of a PLANET!!!!

Good blog homie and a great testament of faith. Anybody can believe and have faith in God when times are going well. Takes a true fear and nobility to humble yourself enough to know God will work in HIS time, which may mean we have to go through extreme challenges in our life.
God bless!!

Griff, I've been a fan of yours since I moved to the 'A'! But that was deep man! I just went through some trying times myself and I have not only seen but felt the power of His Promise! So trust me when I say I can definitely feel you on this one! Good luck on your next move dude and stay blessed....

I LOVE it. It's amazing how God uses us in such ways that we end up touching someone's life (for minute or for a lifetime) and you never know that you did that. This is me telling you that you just did that for me (now you know). I'm glad that you're updating us (me). Silence can be a great thing at times and I'm in a QUIET place where there's so much going on in my mind that I can't SPEAK! It's crazy but I'm letting whatever is happening happen. I sometimes forget that GOD has my back and when He's quiet He's probably waiting on me to be STILL so he can speak again and do what it is that He does so well.
Anyway, I'm going to take your advice and if we never see each other again, know that I always appreciated you and how you always make me LAUGH!

Tell B, I said Wut up and How's the car?!

Peace.

T

I cannot tell you how much I miss your crazy ass in the mornings! It's hard times for a lot of people and faith is the one thing that pulls us through. I've been through a ton of things myself this year..some of which would have broken down a brick wall, but I...like you...stand in my faith and KNOW that GOD is there. You have a purpose and a story that touches people even when you don't have a clue of what's coming next. Stay Blessed Griffy! We still love you...

I love the "uncomfortably comfortable". I am currently there... I believe its human nature to fret and worry, but when its all over you sit there and wonder "dang why did I waste so much time worrying when I knew in due time God would have my back" Much love for you Griff!

What up Griff!
I see you keeping it moving! I do miss how you guys reached out to the kids...I had battled with my principal to get you speak to the kids, but it didn't work...however, we have a new principal now. I'll have to check out the website to see if you in the area so maybe this time it might work out to get you to come to my school.
Keep the faith!

Amen Griff!!! I wish you and your family peace and blessings!

You know, I never thought about 'bothering God with my same prayer requests'... LOL.... I know he knows my heart and my desires, but when you're 37 and never had children and I'm happily married now (still newlyweds) and it seems like everyone and their Grandma's are having babies, it makes me sad, because all I have ever wanted was to be a wonderful Mom as my Mom is to me.... We were in the adoption process, and we drove all the way to Michigan, and the birth mom changed her mind, after we had spent time bonding with the baby.... I know I'm supposed to be giving you Kudos, but what you said really hit home with me today. I know when it's my SEASON that GOD will bless us with the family we so desire. Patience is the lesson that I am trying to learn.

Ask, believe, receive my friend.

Clarity is a good thing. Hard to come by. Sometimes you gotta get real clear about getting clear. You gotta remember to keep the main thing the main thing.

I just had a visit from Jay Greer, your buddy and mine, and he helped me to get a lot of clarity. I will call you soon because he told me a lot of good things that I will share with ya.

Keep believin my friend. It will come. Good things are ahead. No doubt.

Peace
