Hey there, how is everyone? sorry been a bit quiet of late but its weird, September comes around and i proceed , as i do every year, to sort my whole life out. starting with the house, i tune into demand wife and sort everything out, throw away the crap, take cloths and no longer used toys to the charity shops and pledge to myself that I'll deffo use that gym membership that I've had since January!! of course, since the beginning of September, I've been the gym once!!!! I'm rubbish really, but at least the thought was there.
I love the dark nights too that have crept in, I love being all snuggled up at home, all cozy, with the boys and the dog, a little piece of heaven.
So, as you might know, i have spent the last few months writing my new album, i even got to got to New York and write with a brilliant guy called Toby Gadd, he's wrote the new Beyonce track, "If I Were A Boy". He's an amazing writer and within half an hour of meeting him and writing, i was crying! He's really good at tapping into your emotions and how to turn them into lyrics. We wrote Ms Emotional which you might of heard already on myspace, it's one of the songs I'm most proud of and i hope u like it. I have about 10 songs done for the album, and real good mix of pop, funk, r&b and I even do a bit of spoken rap on some of the tracks!!! OK, I know that sounds a bit dodgy, but it all works well in the songs, so watch this space for a bit of scouse rap! ha ha ha.
OK, so last week, I went to Cricket Boutique's fashion show. I went along with Alex Curran and a few friends and we had a lovely night. I had nothing to wear so went on the hunt for something fabulous and unique, and i came across a vintage black and gold Liberty's Cape, I fell in love with it straight away and wore it, everyone commented on it too which was a bonus. I also saw Liz which was lovely as I haven't seen her for a while, we had a girly catch up and a few Champers.
Tomorrow I'll be presenting a hair fashion show in the MetQuater where my restaurant Hamiltons is, which will be fun as I am mad on hair and I'm hoping to get a few fab ideas.
And Halloween is looming, I do get very excited about this, I had orded the kids fancy dress outfits off the Internet weeks ago, they're going as captain Cutthroat and the grim reaper - charming!!! I love the smell of cooking pumpkins and Sefton Park in Liverpool had the best lantern parade, where everyone meets up with lanterns and walks around the park, there's all kind of floating candles on the lake and trees strewn with glow in the dark confetti and paper, its amazing!
Well I'll be back in touch with my latest going on soon, take care and write soon
