It's Christmas once again! The tree is trimmed, the stockings are empty now, the food is eaten...mostly since an Italian mom like mine makes food for 10x as many people showing up, so I'll be having leftovers for a while. All that stuff.
Lets see what I got this year, eh?

(from Diaz)

(the new 2006 edition)
And of course, this:
With so many special features on this thing...I practically had a nerdgasm just reading them on the back of the box. This is possibly the best DVD ever.
But where is Simpsons Season 9 you ask? Well, I should've gotten it already, but my mom ordered it from Circuit City.com last week and it hasn't come yet. I think that Taylor Hicks CD she bought with it is cursed or something.
UPDATE!! Wednesday, 21/17, this finally came in the mail:
And for the rest of you, here is my Christmas gift:
It's from A Muppet Family Christmas, which is the largest muppet crossover in the history of muppets. Muppet Show, Sesame Street AND Fraggle Rock, you name the (pre-90s) Muppet, they were there. The only exclusions seem to be Sweetums and Snuffy, as there was only enough money in the budget for one full-sized muppet, and Big Bird won the Thunderdome battle. Elmo's here, but he's in the role he was born to play: a backround character. There's something oddly fitting for The Count to sing "I Saw Three Ships."
Youtube is awesome. This special, which hasn't been aired fully since the early 90s (not even on DVD!) is on youtube from an old Nickelodeon broadcast unedited! Every song is here (with an exception of a small scene with Fozzie & his mom hanging up stockings, but that was cut after its first few airings for some reason). You can find all 7 parts

Well, it's raining here in Ol' LI. Heatmiser must have gotten control of the North Pole for a day to let Snowmiser make it snow somewhere that actually deserves it. That, and the passing of James Brown leaves a hole in the world. It only seems fitting for him to go out on Christmas Day.
