I bought this crazy Mocha Latte that is self-heating. It's tasty. And it self-heated itself. The $1 was worth my amusement. I couldn't help but think that this is what the world has come down to.

I'm reading, "Hearts In Atlantis" by Stephen King. The first story... and even by saying that... well, I'm assuming that the story I just started has nothing to do with the first one but I'm still not sure, anyway, what intrigued me about the first story was that it made numerous and lengthy references to "The Dark Tower Series" which is, by far, my favorite book series, ever. The references got lengthy... and I began to look at it from an outsider's point of view, from someone who hadn't read "The Dark Tower Series" and I would have been completely lost. And without that perspective, I think that the story itself loses a lot of meaning. I don't know, I didn't expect this to turn into a review.

I watched, "Across the Universe" the other day. I loved it. I read this review, "Somewhere around its midpoint, "Across the Universe" captured my heart, and I realized that falling in love with a movie is like falling in love with another person. Imperfections, however glaring, become endearing quirks once you've tumbled." and completely agree with it. So, that's that.

As many of you know, I recently started watching, and finished, the wonderful series called, "Six Feet Under" and it's ranking right up there with Lost. I wish I would have listened to Erin a long time ago and just watched it. But I didn't, much like I didn't watch Lost until the middle of the second season. I cried for the last 5 minutes of the final episode. I'm usually not that much of a sap, but this series warranted the tears. Best ending to a show that I've ever seen. If you want to skip out on watching the full series, and get maybe a quarter of the feeling that I got while I was bawling my eyes out, here is a link to the last ten minutes of the season finale. Or better yet, you watched the whole fucking thing and want to re-live that part of the show. I'm yapping.

For anyone that gives a shit, I added a bunch of photos to my myspace. Haha.. then again, I'm always adding photos but this time I added more than the norm.

I'm thinking most of you are all reviewd-out so this is my end. Peace.

Garrulously Yours,

i remember reading hearts in atlantis and partially adoring it simply for the dark tower references. one of my fav. moments is actually a moment in the dark tower series where the stand is referenced, easily declaring the stand my fav. king book (if not my fav book ever outside of anything by oscar wilde). i never did see the movie of HiA, let me know if it's any good if you do see it.
across the universe. i don't have the words for my love of that flick. it's my fav. after fight club, and you know me--that's saying a lot. i wanted to buy it, but money ain't so much there in my world right now. maybe at the end of march when i'm living bill free, we'll see.
dude. if you hadn't cried in the last ten minutes of six feet under, you would have had NO SOUL. drop me a message, let me know what you think of the direction they took nathaniel in in that last season. not necessarily how he ended up, more just what he did to brenda and such. personally it made me really mad (i mean they've been through so much, didn't they deserve a happy ending) but after some time i realized a happy ending wouldn't have made sense for nate. soulmate or not, nate was nate and nate had to do what he did. sorta like what george said at his...you know....nate's big day in his name.....what he said about how nate was just always fighting to be a better man. that's where i think maggie came in, as odd and backwards as that sounds. yea, it took me years to watch that show but i just finished the fifth season in early december so i'm right there with you dear.

next for me....nip/tuck. i already saw the first two seasons, but lost cable after that. so i'm just starting over soon. join me?

What the fuck is with myspace screwing up everything lately.. I keep getting new photo comments, new blog posts, and then I get error screens. FUCKity fuck fuck.

Girl. Nip/Tuck?!?! I adore that show. I've become lost though, I watched the first season, and I wanna say that I saw the second season too but it's probably better if I just start over with the whole series.
