Could it be Shambo`s Revenge?

No, a mild peaceful soul like Shambo would have no need for revenge, would have no desire for revenge. Unlike the majority of the bloodthirsty craven idiots that infect our world at the moment, a world driven by the need to possess things, to own things, to own a line in the dirt, or someone else`s line in the dirt (in fact, most of the time, they`d prefer someone else`s line in the dirt). A world where the grass is greener elsewhere and they`d like to snatch it, mostly because they`ve obliterated their own grass.

Greed is good, is the new ethos. Greed and fear. If you`re not ambitious and driven by the  desire to own things, such as material wealth or position, something to elevate you above the other drones that have no idea how to simply live their lives and enjoy them, the new ethos would have you believe that somehow you`re deficient or useless to society.

My teacher told me once, Be discovered. Don`t advertise yourself.

Our "new" government has only been around for a few weeks and already they`ve had to contend with suicide bombers, floods that wouldn`t look out of place in Delhi, and now Foot and Mouth. Don`t need to advertise to show their calmness and their resourcefulness now, do they? Coincidence? That all this happens in a few weeks? Maybe I`m paranoid, maybe I`m just getting older, maybe I just don`t accept things at face value any more.

By the way, just finished the last Harry Potter book. Great book for the most part, though it could have done with trimming of the one or two hundred pages where all they seemed to do was pitch a tent. Last two hundred pages among the best I`ve read of all the Potter stories. And I like the new casualness with the swearing.
