That song is so brilliant, though is it a condensed version of the 10-15 min version Suggs has spoke of?
BRING ON THE NEW ALBUM!!! CAN'T WAIT!

Lads you have done yourselves proud with this work. All bands exist to create great work, few manage it. when I heard there was to be a 13 minute suite on the album I was intrigued. Now I've heard half of it I can't wait to hear more.

Absolutely, undoubtedly Madness, immediately recognisable as you, but something new, fresh, invigorating.
How could it not be with the drums and bass driving the song along to a little bit of what we like?

Then we delve into Norton Folgate and Waltz much further into mischief than we dared on Keep Moving. This is a dark dark place, from which we escape with our alibis intact into the liberty of a part of everything we see, which is of course consummate Madness pop classicism.

I love this music. It speaks volumes of why I've been a fan for nearly 29 years now and it speaks of a band at the top (or possibly still heading for the top of a creative wave).

Andy

I was at that gig in York (The Nutty Boys one) we probably met as I might have been selling the T shirts. I remember when Lee used to say there was more chance of the Beatles reforming than Madness.

I have to say I really like much of Wonderful, but that'll be because I'm a big fan of Keep Moving and there's a lot of similarity. In Lovestruck they delivered a song, which deserved to join the ranks of gig mainstay songs.

I've said enough on Sorry, so I'll comment no further. The Dangermen gigs were excellent, for me reaching a climax with the gig at The Olympia, where I'd seen the Nutty Boys play back in the very early 90s. Sadly the album was a pale shadow of the live shows.

You're spot on with NW5. The melody is possibly the best one Barso has ever come up with and the chorus refrain had people singing along the first time they heard it. Forever Young seems to be heading the same way too.

I've been gagging to hear this 15 minute Norton Folgate opus since I first heard of the idea and the snippet we've been given made me feel nearly as excited as I was when I got the One Step Beyond... album for Christmas in 1979. I can't wait to hear this album and hope it throws up all the delights that were missing from an album of covers.

Best wishes

Paul Rodgers

I have just got my tickets for Hackney Empire, can't wait to hear more of this. I too caught the Nutty Express back in 79 have ridden the train through the ups and downs eversince and can honeslty say the band have never not produced the required to make my toes tap. This promises to be a fantastic album, pure vaudeville, classic Madness. Well done chaps keep 'em coming, this year promises to be skatastic what with Ska Splash a success and another due for next year and hopefully a reformation of the 7 members of The Specials, I was too young to see the 2 Tone tour, just imagine if next year 30 years on........................

Lets have it, the future's bright the future's black and white!

Harry- Ska'd for life at an early age!!

I gave 2 kudos, what ever the F*** that means!!
