I thought it was time for a bit of an update as to what is going on
around here. We've been really busy with the release of The Mcrackins
"Eggzit" CD and The Popsters "Our Bites Bring You Back" CD. We were
hoping both Popsters CD and LP would be done at the same time but with
the shorttage of coloured vinyl the LP had to pushed back. It's off
being pressed, it just won't be done until hopefully sometime in Nov.
The jackets and inserts are done, we are just waiting on the actual
records. We are pressing 500 LP - 200 on yellow vinyl and 300 on black.
Amist the chaos of having new CDs come out I've been trying to get
everything ready to go for The Fake Boys CD. Everything has been sent
off to be pressed and hopefully it will be done in Nov.
I didn't really want to take on anymore projects but a few came
along that I could not pass up. Here's a taste of what we are working
on...
CSR029 The Prozacs "Playing The Chords We Love" CD - Yes, a brand
new disc from The Prozacs. 11 songs that are a return to their
straight up Lookout! Records style pop-punk sound. Below is the track
listing but it is not the definite order the songs will be in.
1. You're Not Gettin' It
2. What I Am
3. Now That You Are Here
4. The Jam
5. Attack!
6. Isolation
7. Tonight
8. This Much I Know
9. Choice, Voice, Waste Of Time
10. Forever
11. Cut The Bullshit
CSR030 The Manges "Rocket To Hollywood" LP - This is will be a four
way split release among Cheapskate, It's Alive Records (US),
Peabrain Records(Denmark), and Squinty Joe Records (UK). It's a live
record from a show in Hollywood when they were on tour with The
Queers. Very excited to be a part of this.
CSR031 The Nappies "Bubblegum Horror Party" 7" - I had been looking
for a 4th band for a project that I'm cooking up (more on that at a
later date) and I finally found them! The Nappies are a pop punk
from Italy and their songs are so catchy and fun that they
will automatically put you in a good mood. Check out their myspace
page - www.myspace.com/thenappies.
There may be two projects I'm taking on but I don't wish to reveal just yet. Not until everything is set in stone.
