To get registered, message us with your full name, mailing address and e-mail. Here's some FAQ:
1. WHAT EXACTLY IS THE ADELINE ARMY? We function a lot like a street team, promoting videos, events, tours, albums, etc. As a member of the army, you will be asked to do online promotions (such as myspace bulletins), pass out fliers, put up posters, and anything we (or you!) can think of to get the word out about Adeline Records.
2. IS IT SAFE TO SEND YOU MY INFO? Yes! We will only use your info for the army. We will never sell off or give out your info to anyone.
3. WHY DO YOU NEED MY INFO? CAN I REGISTER WITH JUST AN E-MAIL? We need info for a couple of reasons. First off, we can't send you anything (ie. promo packs) without a mailing address. Also, we need to track where our members our so that when we have location-sensitive material you don't get something for an event happening on the other side of the country! Also, as we get bigger, we need to make sure all areas are covered, we don't want all of our members in one state or region!
4. IS IT FREE? Yep! It's free to join, free to stay a member, free to move up within the ranks. There may be things like printing up fliers that we post or e-mail to you, and everyone is encouraged to be creative, but we will never require you to do anything that might cost you money.
5. CAN I JOIN IF I'M OUTSIDE THE US/CANADA? Yes! We will accept members anywhere! There will be some contests/give-aways that are for US/Canada residents only, but we are trying to be creative too and come up with ways to involve everyone.
6. IS THERE ANY AGE LIMIT? No, anyone can join the Adeline Army.
7. I REGISTERED, NOW WHAT? Now you get to start earning "ranking points". These points are used to track how active you are at promoting for the army, and will also determine what rank you fall in. Higher ranked members will have access to different contests and swag.
8. HOW DO I GET RANKING POINTS? Check out the current newsletter for info on what you can do to earn ranking points.
9. HOW DO I REDEEM MY RANKING POINTS? Just send us a message with your full name and what you did to earn the points. Please include any pics, URL's, or links that you may need for us to verify your points.
10. WHEN'S THE NEWSLETTER COMING OUT? We're still working on e-mail issues, only about half of you were getting the newsletter. It is currently posted in our blogs once a week, so the best way to stay current is to subscribe to our blog and you will get a notice on your myspace page when there is a new entry.
