I was going to say that I won't be watching I Am Legend, but everyone knows that I like Suspense/Horror cheese. And, I've already seen the two earlier versions plus own an unread copy of the book. It would probably be very hard for me to stay away from this one.

Still, I wonder how much will be lost for the sake of making Will Smith a flawless hero. If they wanted to continue Omega Man's legacy of cheese, they could've easily gone with Vin Diesel. The man is masterfully corny. If they wanted an actor (vs a celebrity) for a more complex character, there are quite a number of aged options. But, they is most likely Will Smith, so I guess there's really nothing that could've been done. (I give up so easily, I know.)

Without further bitching, I present to you all three trailers in chronological order. What do you think?

Can this man ever do wrong? I think not.

Charlton Heston is not about subtlety, folks.

All three are appropriate for their particular leading men and definite products of their times. Sooooo, who has hotter boobs: Charlton Heston or Will Smith? haha.

Well oddly enough I, Robot was turned from something that had thought provoking content to the action packed thrill ride of epic proportions ( sarcasm ) that graced theaters and cable tv screens alike. I'm sure this will do the same.

And you're right Vincent Price can do no wrong. I would watch The abominable Dr Phibes biweekly, if I can ever find a copy if it in stores. I'd say the same for Christopher Walken, but you already know how i feel about him. heh.

Yeah, I didn't read I, Robot nor did I watch the film, but I read all about both, which is why I figure that this will be all about Will Smith being awesome.. and nothing else.

Dr Phibes is not out of print, is it?

I have to watch this, just to find out if a zombie woman's hunger for love, actually can repopulate the earth.
