Less than a week to go, everyone. Can you really believe that? Ten years of anticipation all come down to the next six days. I hope you're all holding up well and that you have amazing plans for the 20th/21st! The Wrap-Up will most likely be delayed a day or two next week, because I don't want to go online until I finish Deathly Hallows and I can't be positive that that will be before Saturday evening, but I promise to have it up as soon as possible.
Going back to this previous week, however, there was tons of awesome wizard rock news, as always! The Wizrocklopedia's interview with June's Band of the Month, Oliver Boyd & the Rememberalls, has been posted. Visit this page to read the chat between Christian and our staff member khittie!
In other site news, the thirteenth episode of our podcast, The WRock Club, was released on July 10th. Episode 13 contains an interview with Mark of Marked as His Equal, songs by a wide variety of groups, and more! For show notes click here, and for more downloading information click here.
Also, the site now has a Wizard Rock Itinerary for Prophecy, the Potter conference being held from August 2-5. The Itinerary details all the wrock performances, workshops, and informal hang-out times that will occur during Prophecy, so be sure to check it out if you'll be attending!

PRESS
-The Washington Post has a four-page article in their Hogwarts Hub section that talks about several bands and the Wizrocklopedia itself. Registration is required, but it's free, so do check out this awesome wrock exposure!
-The Metro Times, a Detroit paper, published an article about wrock on the 11th.
-A Wizard Rockumentary teaser has been put up on Yahoo's Potter Page, but it's somewhat complicated to get to, so head over here for directions!
-ABC News got in on the action with an article that can be viewed here.
-We Heart Music, a music blog on Vox.com, featured a large discussion of wizard rock that can be read here. (Most of the comments are positive, too!)
ALBUM NEWS
-The Owl Post announced that the group will be releasing an EP entitled Nocturnes, and that a button for pre-orders will soon be up on their MySpace.
-Lots of news about Bella's Love and the Ford Angelas of Change from Bella's Love! Ben recently posted the album art, a track list/description, and announced that the CD will be available for free as a .zip file or torrent. If you would really like one of the limited hard copies, they will be $5, with all proceeds going to charity.
Finally and as always, please vote for the Wizrocklopedia on HPANA's Top Sites, and for The WRock Club on Podcast Alley. These small actions by you help spread the word about the site and about wizard rock in general!
Not to freak anyone out, but... next time you read a Weekly Wrock Wrap-Up, you will most likely have finished Book 7. Whooooaaaa. So here's to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! May we all laugh, cry, and somehow manage not to combust.
Peace, love, and wrock,
Becca
