Well, Alison Kent has reached her 250 comment goal, but you don't have to stop. Now you've got a couple more blogs to comment on for the cure.

And this one! The above authors have pledged to buy a certain number of copies of "Coming together for the cure" depending on how many comments they get. These people have all been touched by cancer and want to do something to help and as all profits from this book go to Susan G. Komen Foundation this comment drive is a great way to show we care.

So, I'm going to join in. My Grandad died from Cancer of the Oesophagus when I was just 15 years old. A dear friend of my mum's whom I call "Aunty" has had breast cancer and survived but only after having a mastectomy. Cancer has touched my life several times and I want to do all I can to raise awareness, so here's my modest contribution to the Cure cause.

Now, until I become a rich and famous erotica writer I am but  poor and lowly housewife so I can only commit to buying three copies of  Coming Together for The Cure but every little helps, right?

So for every 10 comments on this lil' ol blog I will buy a copy of "for the cure" with an upper limit of 30 comments. Every person who comments will be put in a draw to win one of the three copies I purchase! The closing date for this is the 28th September -so you've got a month to comment!

Good for you for doing this.

You're not just a "lowly housewife." You're a writer/housewife! And we're some of the hardest working people on the planet. (I'll buy the poor, though. Gods, do I know that part of it!)

*ponders how many copies she could afford to buy*

A big WHOOO HOOOO!

Another joins the challenge - this is excellent.

Yes every little bit helps - that's what I think. I think 3 copies is fantastic. That's more towards a great cause - that hopefully one day will no longer be needed.

As I am doing this as well there's no need to put me in for winning a copy.

Good luck reaching your 30 comments. I'm sure you'll get there in no time.

Thanks for accepting this challenge. This is a great cause and one day, I hope there is a cure for breast cancer and all other cancers too.

Gary

Hi Folks;

It's very much my pleasure to add this comment in support of Run for the Cure. Too many women I know have had breast cancer and many, many other friends and relatives have been accosted by cancer as well.
In a better world, the ca-jillions of dollars that flow for profit and greed would have been automatically channeled to do away with our greater banes, like hunger, cancer, and pollution. I tend to fall back to a simpler ideal and simpler words like John Lennon's "Imagine" and the Beatles' "All You Need is Love."
Thanks for this opportunity to say a few words and all my love to everyone.

Love, Gary.

For: Jackie, Sue, Barb, Auntie Pat, Grandma Doner, and everyone else.

Such a beautiful thing to do. Thank you.
Your bulletin caught my eye. I'm in the midst of having testing done, myself, on a lump i found a week ago. Presently going through the mammogram, ultrasound and probably a biopsy. I go back to the doctor monday. I guess I was meant to find this.
Thank you,
Deb
