With dance fever currently sweeping the nation, the MySpace Black Curtain preview screening of Step Up 2: The Streets attracted a great audience of young dance-hopefuls. Making it even more exciting was the surprise entrance of almost all the 'So You Think You Can Dance' Top 10 finalists, who had somehow managed to steal time away from their hectic performance schedules to see the sexy new dance film.

With the entire audience pumped (and ready to crump !!!!) the party shifted to the Roxy in Paramatta for the announcement of the winner of the MySpace Step up 2 Dance Competition, where MySpace users were asked to submit a video of them showing of their finest hip hop moves. Landslide voting singled out young and extremely talented "ALVIN" as the deserved winner of the coveted $5000 cash prize. Superstar DJ Nino Brown helped to 'bring the flava' on the decks, while two of Sydney's best dance troops held an authentic street style battle that absolutely blew the audience away. All in the room would have agreed that they surely could have given the stars of Step Up 2 a run for their money...
